| 2 | Señor, oye mi voz; estén atentos tus oídos á la voz de mi súplica. | Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications. |
| 3 | JAH, si mirares á los pecados, ¿quién, oh Señor, podrá mantenerse? | If thou, Lord, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand? |
| 4 | Empero hay perdón cerca de ti, para que seas temido. | But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared. |
| 5 | Esperé yo á Jehová, esperó mi alma; en su palabra he esperado. | I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope. |
| 6 | Mi alma espera á Jehová más que los centinelas á la mañana, más que los vigilantes á la mañana. | My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning. |
