1	두 증인 나는 지팡이와 같은 측량자 하나를 받았는데, 그 때에 이런 말씀이 내게 들려 왔습니다. “일어서서 하나님의 성전과 제단을 측량하고, 성전에서 예배하는 사람들을 세어라.	And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.
2	그러나 그 성전의 바깥 뜰은 측량하지 말고, 내버려 두어라. 그것은 이방 사람들에게 내주었기 때문이다. 그들이 그 거룩한 도성을 마흔두 달 동안 짓밟을 것이다.	But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.
3	나는 내 두 증인에게 예언하는 능력을 줄 것이다. 그들은 천이백육십 일 동안 상복을 입고 예언할 것이다.”	And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
4	그들은 이 세상을 다스리시는 주님 앞에 서 있는 올리브 나무 두 그루요, 촛대 두 개입니다.	These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
5	그들을 해하려고 하는 사람이 있으면, 그들의 입에서 불이 나와서, 그 원수들을 삼켜 버릴 것입니다. 그들을 해하려고 하는 사람은, 누구나 이와 같이 죽임을 당하고 말 것입니다.	And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.
6	그들은, 자기들이 예언 활동을 하는 동안에, 하늘을 닫아 비가 내리지 못하게 할 수 있는 권세를 가지고 있습니다. 또 물을 피로 변하게 하는 권세와, 그들이 원하는 대로 몇 번이든지, 어떤 재앙으로든지, 땅을 칠 수 있는 권세를 가지고 있습니다.	These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.
7	그러나 그들이 증언을 마칠 때에, 아비소스에서 올라오는 짐승이 그들과 싸워서 이기고, 그들을 죽일 것입니다.	And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
8	그리고 그들의 시체는 그 큰 도시의 넓은 거리에 내버리게 될 것입니다. 그 도시는 영적으로 소돔 또는 이집트라고도 하는데, 곧 그들의 주님이 십자가에 달리신 곳입니다.	And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
9	여러 백성과 종족과 언어와 민족에 속한 사람들이 사흘 반 동안 그 두 예언자의 시체를 볼 것이며, 그 시체가 무덤에 안장되는 것을 허락하지 않을 것입니다.	And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.
10	그리고 땅 위에 사는 사람들이 그 시체를 두고 기뻐하고 즐거워하고, 서로 선물을 보낼 것입니다. 그것은 이 두 예언자가 땅 위에 사는 사람들을 괴롭혔기 때문입니다.	And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.
11	그러나 사흘 반이 지난 뒤에, 하나님에게서 생명의 기운이 나와서 그들 속으로 들어가니, 그들이 제 발로 일어섰습니다. 그것을 목격한 사람들은 큰 두려움에 사로잡혔습니다.	And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.
12	그 두 예언자가, 하늘로부터 자기들에게로 “이리로 올라오너라” 하는 큰 소리가 울려오는 것을 듣고, 구름을 타고 하늘로 올라가니, 그들의 원수들이 그것을 지켜 보았습니다.	And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.
13	바로 그 때에 큰 지진이 일어나서, 그 도시의 십분의 일이 무너졌는데, 그 지진으로 사람이 칠천 명이나 죽었습니다. 그리고 살아 남은 사람은 두려움에 싸여서, 하늘에 계신 하나님께 영광을 돌렸습니다.	And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.
14	둘째 재난은 지나갔습니다. 그러나 이제 셋째 재난이 곧 닥칠 것입니다.	The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.
15	일곱째 나팔 일곱째 천사가 나팔을 불었습니다. 그 때에 하늘에서 큰 소리가 났습니다. “세상 나라는 우리 주님의 것이 되고, 그리스도의 것이 되었다. 주님께서 영원히 다스리실 것이다.”	And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
16	그리고 하나님 앞에서 자기 보좌에 앉아 있는 스물네 장로도 엎드려서, 하나님께 경배하고,	And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,
17	말하였습니다. “지금도 계시고 전에도 계시던 전능하신 분, 주 하나님, 감사합니다. 주님께서는 그 크신 권능을 잡으셔서 다스리기 시작하셨습니다.	Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.
18	뭇 민족이 이것에 분개하였으나 오히려 그들이 주님의 진노를 샀습니다. 이제는 죽은 사람들이 심판을 받을 때가 왔습니다. 주님의 종 예언자들과 성도들과 작은 사람이든 큰 사람이든 주님 이름을 두려워하는 사람들에게 상을 주실 때가 왔습니다. 땅을 망하게 하는 자들을 멸망시킬 때가 왔습니다.”	And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.
19	그러자 하늘에 있는 하나님의 성전이 열리고, 성전 안에 있는 하나님의 언약궤가 보였습니다. 그 때에 번개가 치고, 요란한 소리와 천둥소리가 나고, 지진이 일어나고, 큰 우박이 쏟아졌습니다.	And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.
