1	유다 왕 아사랴 이스라엘의 여로보암 왕 제 이십칠년에 유다의 아마샤 왕의 아들 아사랴가 왕이 되었다.	In the twenty and seventh year of Jeroboam king of Israel began Azariah son of Amaziah king of Judah to reign.
2	그가 왕이 되었을 때에, 그의 나이는 열여섯이었다. 그는 예루살렘에서 쉰두 해 동안 다스렸다. 그의 어머니 여골리야는 예루살렘 태생이다.	Sixteen years old was he when he began to reign, and he reigned two and fifty years in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Jecholiah of Jerusalem.
3	그는 자기의 아버지 아마샤가 한 모든 일을 본받아, 주님께서 보시기에 올바른 일을 하였으나,	And he did that which was right in the sight of the Lord, according to all that his father Amaziah had done;
4	산당만은 제거하지 않아서, 그 때까지 백성은 여전히 산당에서 제사를 드리고 분향을 하였다.	Save that the high places were not removed: the people sacrificed and burnt incense still on the high places.
5	그리하여 주님께서 왕을 치셨으므로, 왕은 죽을 때까지 나병 환자가 되었고, 격리된 궁에서 살았다. 왕자 요담이 왕실을 관리하며 나라의 백성을 다스렸다.	And the Lord smote the king, so that he was a leper unto the day of his death, and dwelt in a several house. And Jotham the king’s son was over the house, judging the people of the land.
6	아사랴의 나머지 행적과 그가 한 모든 일은, ‘유다 왕 역대지략’에 기록되어 있다.	And the rest of the acts of Azariah, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
7	아사랴가 죽어 그의 조상과 함께 잠드니, ‘다윗 성’에 조상과 함께 장사지냈다. 왕자 요담이 그의 뒤를 이어 왕이 되었다.	So Azariah slept with his fathers; and they buried him with his fathers in the city of David: and Jotham his son reigned in his stead.
8	이스라엘 왕 스가랴 유다의 아사랴 왕 제 삼십팔년에 여로보암의 아들 스가랴가 이스라엘의 왕이 되어서, 사마리아에서 여섯 달 동안 다스렸다.	In the thirty and eighth year of Azariah king of Judah did Zachariah the son of Jeroboam reign over Israel in Samaria six months.
9	그도 또한 조상이 한 것처럼 주님께서 보시기에 악을 행하고, 이스라엘로 죄를 짓게 한 느밧의 아들 여로보암의 죄에서 떠나지 아니하고, 그것을 그대로 본받았다.	And he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord, as his fathers had done: he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.
10	야베스의 아들 살룸이 역모를 꾀하여 백성 앞에서 그를 죽이고, 그의 뒤를 이어 왕이 되었다.	And Shallum the son of Jabesh conspired against him, and smote him before the people, and slew him, and reigned in his stead.
11	스가랴의 나머지 행적은 ‘이스라엘 왕 역대지략’에 기록되어 있다.	And the rest of the acts of Zachariah, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.
12	주님께서 예후에게, 그에게서 난 자손이 사 대까지 이스라엘의 왕좌에 앉을 것이라고 말씀하신 그대로 된 것이다.	This was the word of the Lord which he spake unto Jehu, saying, Thy sons shall sit on the throne of Israel unto the fourth generation. And so it came to pass.
13	이스라엘 왕 살룸 야베스의 아들 살룸이 유다의 웃시야 왕 제 삼십구년에 이스라엘 왕이 되어, 사마리아에서 한 달 동안 다스렸다.	Shallum the son of Jabesh began to reign in the nine and thirtieth year of Uzziah king of Judah; and he reigned a full month in Samaria.
14	그 때에 가디의 아들 므나헴이 디르사에서부터 사마리아로 올라와서, 거기에서 야베스의 아들 살룸을 쳐죽이고, 그를 대신하여 왕이 되었다.	For Menahem the son of Gadi went up from Tirzah, and came to Samaria, and smote Shallum the son of Jabesh in Samaria, and slew him, and reigned in his stead.
15	살룸의 나머지 행적과 그가 역모를 꾀한 일은 ‘이스라엘 왕 역대지략’에 기록되어 있다.	And the rest of the acts of Shallum, and his conspiracy which he made, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.
16	그 때에 므나헴은 디르사에서부터 진격하여 와서, 딥사와 그 안에 있는 모든 사람을 쳐죽이고, 사방 모든 곳을 공격하였다. 그들이 그에게 성문을 열어 주지 않았다고 하여, 그는 그 곳을 치고, 임신한 여자들의 배를 갈라 죽이기까지 하였다.	Then Menahem smote Tiphsah, and all that were therein, and the coasts thereof from Tirzah: because they opened not to him, therefore he smote it; and all the women therein that were with child he ripped up.
17	이스라엘 왕 므나헴 유다의 아사랴 왕 제 삼십구년에 가디의 아들 므나헴이 이스라엘의 왕이 되어, 사마리아에서 열해 동안 다스렸다.	In the nine and thirtieth year of Azariah king of Judah began Menahem the son of Gadi to reign over Israel, and reigned ten years in Samaria.
18	그는 주님께서 보시기에 악을 행하였다. 그는 이스라엘로 죄를 짓게 한 느밧의 아들 여로보암의 죄에서 일생 동안 떠나지 아니하고, 그것을 그대로 본받았다.	And he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord: he departed not all his days from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.
19	앗시리아의 불 왕이 그 땅을 치려고 올라오니, 므나헴은 불에게 은 천 달란트를 주었다. 이렇게 한 것은, 그의 도움을 받아서 자기 왕국의 통치권을 굳게 하려 함이었다.	And Pul the king of Assyria came against the land: and Menahem gave Pul a thousand talents of silver, that his hand might be with him to confirm the kingdom in his hand.
20	므나헴은, 앗시리아 왕에게 바치려고, 이스라엘의 모든 부자에게 한 사람당 은 쉰 세겔씩을 바치게 하였다. 그러자 앗시리아 왕은 더 이상 그 땅에 머물지 않고 되돌아갔다.	And Menahem exacted the money of Israel, even of all the mighty men of wealth, of each man fifty shekels of silver, to give to the king of Assyria. So the king of Assyria turned back, and stayed not there in the land.
21	므나헴의 나머지 행적과 그가 한 모든 일은 ‘이스라엘 왕 역대지략’에 기록되어 있다.	And the rest of the acts of Menahem, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?
22	므나헴이 그의 조상과 함께 누워 잠드니, 그의 아들 브가히야가 뒤를 이어 왕이 되었다.	And Menahem slept with his fathers; and Pekahiah his son reigned in his stead.
23	이스라엘 왕 브가히야 유다 왕 아사랴 제 오십년에 므나헴의 아들 브가히야가 이스라엘의 왕이 되어, 사마리아에서 두 해 동안 다스렸다.	In the fiftieth year of Azariah king of Judah Pekahiah the son of Menahem began to reign over Israel in Samaria, and reigned two years.
24	그는 주님께서 보시기에 악을 행하였다. 그는 이스라엘로 죄를 짓게 한 느밧의 아들 여로보암의 죄에서 떠나지 아니하고, 그대로 본받았다.	And he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord: he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.
25	그의 부관인 르말리야의 아들 베가가, 아르곱과 아리에와 길르앗 사람 쉰 명과 더불어 반란을 일으켜서, 사마리아에 있는 왕궁의 요새에서 왕을 죽이고, 그를 대신하여 왕이 되었다.	But Pekah the son of Remaliah, a captain of his, conspired against him, and smote him in Samaria, in the palace of the king’s house, with Argob and Arieh, and with him fifty men of the Gileadites: and he killed him, and reigned in his room.
26	브가히야의 나머지 행적과 그가 한 모든 일은 ‘이스라엘 왕 역대지략’에 기록되어 있다.	And the rest of the acts of Pekahiah, and all that he did, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.
27	이스라엘 왕 베가 유다의 아사랴 왕 제 오십이년에 르말리야의 아들 베가가 이스라엘의 왕이 되어, 사마리아에서 스무 해 동안 다스렸다.	In the two and fiftieth year of Azariah king of Judah Pekah the son of Remaliah began to reign over Israel in Samaria, and reigned twenty years.
28	그는 주님께서 보시기에 악을 행하였으며, 이스라엘로 죄를 짓게 한 느밧의 아들 여로보암의 죄에서 떠나지 아니하고, 그것을 그대로 본받았다.	And he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord: he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.
29	이스라엘의 베가 왕 시대에 앗시리아의 디글랏빌레셀 왕이 쳐들어와서, 이욘과 아벨벳마아가와 야노아와 게데스와, 하솔과 길르앗과 갈릴리와 납달리의 온 지역을 점령하고, 주민들을 앗시리아로 사로잡아 갔다.	In the days of Pekah king of Israel came Tiglath–pileser king of Assyria, and took Ijon, and Abel–beth–maachah, and Janoah, and Kedesh, and Hazor, and Gilead, and Galilee, all the land of Naphtali, and carried them captive to Assyria.
30	엘라의 아들 호세아가 르말리야의 아들 베가에게 반역하여 그를 살해하고, 웃시야의 아들 요담 제 이십년에 그의 뒤를 이어 왕이 되었다.	And Hoshea the son of Elah made a conspiracy against Pekah the son of Remaliah, and smote him, and slew him, and reigned in his stead, in the twentieth year of Jotham the son of Uzziah.
31	베가의 나머지 행적과 그가 한 모든 일은 ‘이스라엘 왕 역대지략’에 기록되어 있다. ()	And the rest of the acts of Pekah, and all that he did, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.
32	유다 왕 요담 이스라엘의 르말리야 왕의 아들 베가 제 이년에 웃시야의 아들 요담이 유다의 왕이 되었다.	In the second year of Pekah the son of Remaliah king of Israel began Jotham the son of Uzziah king of Judah to reign.
33	그가 왕이 되었을 때에, 그의 나이는 스물다섯 살이었다. 그는 예루살렘에서 열여섯 해 동안 다스렸다. 그의 어머니 여루사는 사독의 딸이다.	Five and twenty years old was he when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Jerusha, the daughter of Zadok.
34	그는, 아버지 웃시야가 한 것을 그대로 본받아, 주님께서 보시기에 올바른 일을 하였다.	And he did that which was right in the sight of the Lord: he did according to all that his father Uzziah had done.
35	그러나 산당만은 제거하지 않아서, 백성들이 여전히 산당에서 제사를 지내고 분향을 하였다. 그는 주님의 성전의 윗 대문을 세웠다.	Howbeit the high places were not removed: the people sacrificed and burned incense still in the high places. He built the higher gate of the house of the Lord.
36	요담의 나머지 행적과 그가 한 모든 일은 ‘유다 왕 역대지략’에 기록되어 있다.	Now the rest of the acts of Jotham, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
37	이 때부터 주님께서는, 시리아의 르신 왕과 르말리야의 아들 베가를 보내어, 유다를 치기 시작하셨다.	In those days the Lord began to send against Judah Rezin the king of Syria, and Pekah the son of Remaliah.
38	요담은 죽어 그의 조상 다윗의 성에 조상들과 함께 안장되었고, 그의 아들 아하스가 그의 뒤를 이어 왕이 되었다.	And Jotham slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David his father: and Ahaz his son reigned in his stead.
