1	주님은 언제나 옳게 행하신다 / 다윗의 식가욘, 베냐민 사람 구시가 한 말을 듣고 다윗이 주님 앞에서 부른 애가 주 나의 하나님, 내가 주님께로 피합니다. 나를 뒤쫓는 모든 사람에게서 나를 구원하여 주시고, 건져 주십시오.	O Lord my God, in thee do I put my trust: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me:
2	그들이 사자처럼 나를 찢어 발기어도, 나의 목숨 건져 줄 사람이 없을까 두렵습니다.	Lest he tear my soul like a lion, rending it in pieces, while there is none to deliver.
3	주 나의 하나님, 내가 만일 이런 일을 저질렀다면 벌을 내려 주십시오. 내가 손으로 폭력을 행했거나	O Lord my God, if I have done this; if there be iniquity in my hands;
4	친구의 우정을 악으로 갚았거나, 나의 대적이라고 하여 까닭 없이 그를 약탈했다면,	If I have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace with me; (yea, I have delivered him that without cause is mine enemy:)
5	원수들이 나를 뒤쫓아와서, 내 목숨을 덮쳐서 땅에 짓밟고, 내 명예를 짓밟아도, 나는 좋습니다. (셀라)	Let the enemy persecute my soul, and take it; yea, let him tread down my life upon the earth, and lay mine honour in the dust. Selah.
6	주님, 진노하며 일어나시고, 내 대적들의 기세를 꺾어 주십시오. 하나님, 깨어나셔서 판결을 내려 주십시오.	Arise, O Lord, in thine anger, lift up thyself because of the rage of mine enemies: and awake for me to the judgment that thou hast commanded.
7	뭇 민족들을 주님 앞으로 모으시고, 주님께서는 그 높은 법정으로 돌아오십시오.	So shall the congregation of the people compass thee about: for their sakes therefore return thou on high.
8	주님께서는 뭇 백성들을 판단하시는 분이시니, 내 의와 내 성실함을 따라 나를 변호해 주십시오.	The Lord shall judge the people: judge me, O Lord, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me.
9	악한 자의 악행을 뿌리 뽑아 주시고 의인은 굳게 세워 주십시오. 주님은 의로우신 하나님, 사람의 마음 속 생각을 낱낱이 살피시는 분이십니다.	Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins.
10	하나님은 나를 지키시는 방패시요, 마음이 올바른 사람에게 승리를 안겨 주시는 분이시다.	My defence is of God, which saveth the upright in heart.
11	하나님은 공정한 재판장이시요, 언제라도 악인을 벌하는 분이시다.	God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.
12	뉘우치고 돌아오지 않으면, 칼을 갈고 활을 겨누어 심판을 준비하신다.	If he turn not, he will whet his sword; he hath bent his bow, and made it ready.
13	살상 무기를 준비하시고, 화살 끝에 불을 붙이신다.	He hath also prepared for him the instruments of death; he ordaineth his arrows against the persecutors.
14	악인은 악을 잉태하여 재앙과 거짓을 낳는구나.	Behold, he travaileth with iniquity, and hath conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood.
15	함정을 깊이 파지만, 그가 만든 구덩이에 그가 빠진다.	He made a pit, and digged it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made.
16	남에게 준 고통이 그에게로 돌아가고, 남에게 휘두른 폭력도 그의 정수리로 돌아간다.	His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate.
17	나는 주님의 의로우심을 찬송하고 가장 높으신 주님의 이름을 노래하련다.	I will praise the Lord according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the Lord most high.
