1	인도와 도움을 구하는 기도 / 다윗의 시 주님, 내 영혼이 주님을 기다립니다.	Unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.
2	나의 하나님, 내가 주님께 의지하였으니, 내가 부끄러움을 당하지 않게 하시고 내 원수가 나를 이기어 승전가를 부르지 못하게 해주십시오.	O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.
3	주님을 기다리는 사람은 수치를 당할 리 없지만, 함부로 속이는 자는 수치를 당하고야 말 것입니다.	Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause.
4	주님, 주님의 길을 나에게 보여 주시고, 내가 마땅히 가야 할 그 길을 가르쳐 주십시오.	Shew me thy ways, O Lord; teach me thy paths.
5	주님은 내 구원의 하나님이시니, 주님의 진리로 나를 지도하시고 가르쳐 주십시오. 나는 종일 주님만을 기다립니다.	Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.
6	주님, 먼 옛날부터 변함 없이 베푸셨던, 주님의 긍휼하심과 한결 같은 사랑을 기억하여 주십시오.	Remember, O Lord, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses; for they have been ever of old.
7	내가 젊은 시절에 지은 죄와 반역을 기억하지 마시고, 주님의 자비로우심과 선하심으로 나를 기억하여 주십시오.	Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness’ sake, O Lord.
8	주님은 선하시고 올바르셔서, 죄인들이 돌이키고 걸어가야 할 올바른 길을 가르쳐 주신다.	Good and upright is the Lord: therefore will he teach sinners in the way.
9	겸손한 사람을 공의로 인도하시며, 겸비한 사람에게는 당신의 뜻을 가르쳐 주신다.	The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.
10	주님의 언약과 계명을 지키는 사람을 진실한 사랑으로 인도하신다.	All the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.
11	주님, 주님의 이름을 생각하셔서라도, 내가 저지른 큰 죄악을 용서하여 주십시오.	For thy name’s sake, O Lord, pardon mine iniquity; for it is great.
12	주님을 경외하는 사람이 누굽니까? 그가 선택해야 할 길을 주님께서 그에게 가르쳐 주실 것입니다.	What man is he that feareth the Lord? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose.
13	그가 한 생애를 편안히 살 것이니, 그 자손이 땅을 유업으로 받을 것이다.	His soul shall dwell at ease; and his seed shall inherit the earth.
14	주님께서는, 주님을 경외하는 사람과 의논하시며, 그들에게서 주님의 언약이 진실함을 확인해 주신다.	The secret of the Lord is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.
15	주님만이 내 발을 원수의 올무에서 건지는 분이시기에, 내 눈은 언제나 주님을 바라봅니다.	Mine eyes are ever toward the Lord; for he shall pluck my feet out of the net.
16	주님, 나를 돌보아 주시고, 나에게 은혜를 베풀어 주십시오. 나는 외롭고 괴롭습니다.	Turn thee unto me, and have mercy upon me; for I am desolate and afflicted.
17	내 마음의 고통에서 벗어나게 해 주시고, 나를 이 아픔에서 건져 주십시오.	The troubles of my heart are enlarged: O bring thou me out of my distresses.
18	내 괴로움과 근심을 살펴 주십시오. 내 모든 죄를 용서하여 주십시오.	Look upon mine affliction and my pain; and forgive all my sins.
19	내 원수들을 지켜 봐 주십시오. 그들의 수는 많기도 합니다. 그들은 불타는 증오심을 품고, 나를 미워합니다.	Consider mine enemies; for they are many; and they hate me with cruel hatred.
20	내 생명을 지켜 주십시오. 나를 건져 주십시오. 내가 수치를 당하지 않게 하여 주십시오. 나의 피난처는 오직 주님뿐입니다.	O keep my soul, and deliver me: let me not be ashamed; for I put my trust in thee.
21	완전하고 올바르게 살아가도록, 지켜 주십시오. 주님, 나는 주님만 기다립니다.	Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on thee.
22	하나님, 이스라엘을 그 모든 고난에서 건져 주십시오.	Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles.
