1	보호를 구하는 기도 / 성전에 올라가는 순례자의 노래 이스라엘아, 이렇게 고백하여라. “내가 어릴 때부터, 나의 원수들이 여러 번 나를 잔인하게 박해했다.	Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth, may Israel now say:
2	비록 내가 어릴 때부터, 내 원수들이 여러 번 나를 잔인하게 박해했으나, 그들은 나를 이겨 내지를 못했다.	Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth: yet they have not prevailed against me.
3	밭을 가는 사람이 밭을 갈아엎듯 그들이 나의 등을 갈아서, 거기에다가 고랑을 길게 냈으나,	The plowers plowed upon my back: they made long their furrows.
4	의로우신 주님께서 악인의 사슬을 끊으시고, 나를 풀어 주셨다.”	The Lord is righteous: he hath cut asunder the cords of the wicked.
5	시온을 미워하는 사람은 그 어느 누구나, 수치를 당하고 물러가고 만다.	Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Zion.
6	그들은 지붕 위의 풀같이 되어, 자라기도 전에 말라 버리고 만다.	Let them be as the grass upon the housetops, which withereth afore it groweth up:
7	베는 사람의 품에도 차지 않고, 묶는 사람의 품에도 차지 않아	Wherewith the mower filleth not his hand; nor he that bindeth sheaves his bosom.
8	지나가는 사람 가운데 어느 누구도 “주님께서 너희에게 복을 베푸시기를 빈다” 하지 아니하며, “주님의 이름으로 너희에게 축복한다” 하지도 아니할 것이다.	Neither do they which go by say, The blessing of the Lord be upon you: we bless you in the name of the Lord.
