절	새번역 (2001)	King James Version
1	주님만이 가정에 복을 주신다 / 성전에 올라가는 순례자의 노래, 솔로몬의 노래 주님께서 집을 세우지 아니하시면 집을 세우는 사람의 수고가 헛되며, 주님께서 성을 지키지 아니하시면 파수꾼의 깨어 있음이 헛된 일이다.	Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.
2	일찍 일어나고 늦게 눕는 것, 먹고 살려고 애써 수고하는 모든 일이 헛된 일이다. 진실로 주님께서는, 사랑하시는 사람에게는 그가 잠을 자는 동안에도 복을 주신다.	It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep.
3	자식은 주님께서 주신 선물이요, 태 안에 들어 있는 열매는, 주님이 주신 상급이다.	Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
4	젊어서 낳은 자식은 용사의 손에 쥐어 있는 화살과도 같으니,	As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.
5	그런 화살이 화살통에 가득한 용사에게는 복이 있다. 그들은 성문에서 원수들과 담판할 때에, 부끄러움을 당하지 아니할 것이다.	Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.
