1	승리를 주신 주님께 감사 / 다윗의 시, 성전에 올라가는 순례자의 노래 이스라엘아, 대답해 보아라. 주님께서 우리 편이 아니셨다면, 우리가 어떠하였겠느냐?	If it had not been the Lord who was on our side, now may Israel say;
2	“주님께서 우리 편이 아니셨다면, 원수들이 우리를 치러 일어났을 때에,	If it had not been the Lord who was on our side, when men rose up against us:
3	원수들이 우리에게 큰 분노를 터뜨려서, 우리를 산 채로 집어삼켰을 것이며,	Then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us:
4	물이 우리를 덮어, 홍수가 우리를 휩쓸어 갔을 것이며,	Then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream had gone over our soul:
5	넘치는 물결이 우리의 영혼을 삼키고 말았을 것이다.”	Then the proud waters had gone over our soul.
6	우리를 원수의 이에 찢길 먹이가 되지 않게 하신 주님을 찬송하여라.	Blessed be the Lord, who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth.
7	새가 사냥꾼의 그물에서 벗어남같이 우리는 목숨을 건졌다. 그물은 찢어지고, 우리는 풀려 났다.	Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped.
8	천지를 지으신 주님이 우리를 도우신다.	Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.
