1	속죄제를 드려야 할 경우 주님께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다.	And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
2	“너는 이스라엘 자손에게 다음과 같이 일러라. 어떤 사람이 실수로 잘못을 저질러, 나 주가 하지 말라고 명한 것을 하나라도 어겼으면, 다음과 같이 하여야 한다.	Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a soul shall sin through ignorance against any of the commandments of the Lord concerning things which ought not to be done, and shall do against any of them:
3	특히, 기름부음을 받고 임명받은 제사장이 죄를 지어서, 그 벌이 백성에게 돌아가게 되었을 경우에, 그 제사장이 지은 죄를 용서받으려면, 소 떼 가운데서 흠 없는 수송아지 한 마리를 골라 속죄제물로 주에게 바쳐야 한다.	If the priest that is anointed do sin according to the sin of the people; then let him bring for his sin, which he hath sinned, a young bullock without blemish unto the Lord for a sin offering.
4	그는 그 수송아지를 주 앞 곧 회막 어귀로 끌고 가서, 그 수송아지의 머리 위에 손을 얹은 다음에, 주 앞에서 그 송아지를 잡아야 한다.	And he shall bring the bullock unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the Lord; and shall lay his hand upon the bullock’s head, and kill the bullock before the Lord.
5	그리고 기름부음을 받고 임명받은 제사장이, 그 수송아지의 피를 얼마 받아서, 그것을 회막 안으로 가지고 들어가서,	And the priest that is anointed shall take of the bullock’s blood, and bring it to the tabernacle of the congregation:
6	제사장이 직접 손가락으로 피를 찍어, 주 앞 곧 성소에 친 휘장 앞에서 일곱 번 뿌려야 한다.	And the priest shall dip his finger in the blood, and sprinkle of the blood seven times before the Lord, before the vail of the sanctuary.
7	제사장은 또 그 피의 얼마를 회막 안, 주 앞에 있는 분향단 뿔에 돌아가면서 두루 바르고, 나머지 수송아지의 피는 모두 회막 어귀에 있는 번제단 밑바닥에 쏟아야 한다.	And the priest shall put some of the blood upon the horns of the altar of sweet incense before the Lord, which is in the tabernacle of the congregation; and shall pour all the blood of the bullock at the bottom of the altar of the burnt offering, which is at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
8	그런 다음에, 그는 속죄제물로 바친 그 수송아지에서 기름기를 모두 떼어 내야 한다. 떼어 낼 기름기는 내장 전체를 덮고 있는 기름기와, 내장 각 부분에 붙어 있는 모든 기름기와,	And he shall take off from it all the fat of the bullock for the sin offering; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,
9	두 콩팥과, 거기에 덮여 있는 허리께의 기름기와, 콩팥을 떼어 낼 때에 함께 떼어 낸, 간을 덮고 있는 껍질이다.	And the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, which is by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away,
10	마치 화목제물이 된 소에게서 기름기를 떼어 낼 때와 같이 그렇게 떼어 내어, 제사장이 직접 그것들을 번제단 위에 올려놓고 불살라야 한다.	As it was taken off from the bullock of the sacrifice of peace offerings: and the priest shall burn them upon the altar of the burnt offering.
11	수송아지의 가죽과 모든 살코기와 그 수송아지의 머리와 다리와 내장과 똥과	And the skin of the bullock, and all his flesh, with his head, and with his legs, and his inwards, and his dung,
12	그 수송아지에게서 나온 것은 모두 진 바깥, 정결한 곳 곧 재 버리는 곳으로 가져 가서, 잿더미 위에 장작을 지피고, 그 위에 올려놓고 불살라야 한다. 그 수송아지는 재 버리는 곳에서 불살라야 한다.	Even the whole bullock shall he carry forth without the camp unto a clean place, where the ashes are poured out, and burn him on the wood with fire: where the ashes are poured out shall he be burnt.
13	이스라엘 온 회중이, 실수로, 함께 책임을 져야 할 잘못을 저지르면, 그것은 비록 깨닫지 못하였을지라도 죄가 된다. 나 주가 하지 말라고 명한 모든 것을 하나라도 어겨서 벌을 받게 되면,	And if the whole congregation of Israel sin through ignorance, and the thing be hid from the eyes of the assembly, and they have done somewhat against any of the commandments of the Lord concerning things which should not be done, and are guilty;
14	그들이 지은 죄를 그들 스스로가 깨닫는 대로, 곧바로 총회는 소 떼 가운데서 수송아지 한 마리를 골라 속죄제물로 바쳐야 한다. 수송아지를 회막 앞으로 끌어 오면,	When the sin, which they have sinned against it, is known, then the congregation shall offer a young bullock for the sin, and bring him before the tabernacle of the congregation.
15	회중을 대표하는 장로들은, 주 앞에서 그 수송아지의 머리 위에 손을 얹은 다음에, 주 앞에서 그 수송아지를 잡아야 한다.	And the elders of the congregation shall lay their hands upon the head of the bullock before the Lord: and the bullock shall be killed before the Lord.
16	그리고 기름부음을 받고 임명받은 제사장은, 그 수송아지의 피를 얼마 받아서, 회막 안으로 가지고 들어가서,	And the priest that is anointed shall bring of the bullock’s blood to the tabernacle of the congregation:
17	제사장이 직접 손가락으로 그 피를 찍어, 주 앞 곧 휘장 앞에서 일곱 번 뿌려야 한다.	And the priest shall dip his finger in some of the blood, and sprinkle it seven times before the Lord, even before the vail.
18	그는 또 회막 안, 주 앞에 있는 제단 뿔에 그 피를 조금씩 바르고, 나머지 피는 모두 회막 어귀에 있는 번제단 밑바닥에 쏟아야 한다.	And he shall put some of the blood upon the horns of the altar which is before the Lord, that is in the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall pour out all the blood at the bottom of the altar of the burnt offering, which is at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
19	그런 다음에, 그는 그 수송아지에게서 기름기를 모두 떼어 내게 하여, 그것을 받아, 제단 위에 올려놓고 불살라야 한다.	And he shall take all his fat from him, and burn it upon the altar.
20	그는 이렇게 수송아지를 다루면 된다. 이 수송아지도 속죄제물로 바친 수송아지를 다루듯이 다루면 된다. 제사장이 이렇게 회중의 죄를 속하여 주면, 그들은 용서를 받는다.	And he shall do with the bullock as he did with the bullock for a sin offering, so shall he do with this: and the priest shall make an atonement for them, and it shall be forgiven them.
21	제사장은 그 수송아지를 진 바깥으로 옮겨, 앞에서 말한 수송아지를 불사를 때와 같이, 그렇게 그것을 불살라야 한다. 이것이 바로 회중의 죄를 속하는 속죄제사이다.	And he shall carry forth the bullock without the camp, and burn him as he burned the first bullock: it is a sin offering for the congregation.
22	최고 통치자가 실수로, 나 주 하나님이 하지 말라고 명한 것을 하나라도 어겨서, 그 허물로 벌을 받게 되었을 때에는,	When a ruler hath sinned, and done somewhat through ignorance against any of the commandments of the Lord his God concerning things which should not be done, and is guilty;
23	자기가 지은 죄를 깨닫는 대로 곧 흠 없는 숫염소 한 마리를 제물로 끌고 와서,	Or if his sin, wherein he hath sinned, come to his knowledge; he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a male without blemish:
24	그 숫염소의 머리 위에 손을 얹은 다음에, 주 앞 번제물을 잡는 바로 그 곳에서 그 숫염소를 잡아야 한다. 이것이 속죄제물이다.	And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the goat, and kill it in the place where they kill the burnt offering before the Lord: it is a sin offering.
25	제사장은 그 속죄제물의 피를 얼마 받아다가, 손가락으로 찍어서 번제단의 뿔에 바르고, 나머지 피는 번제단 밑바닥에 쏟아야 한다.	And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out his blood at the bottom of the altar of burnt offering.
26	그런 다음에, 그는 화목제물의 기름기를 다루듯이, 숫염소의 기름기를 제단 위에 올려놓고, 모두 불살라야 한다. 이렇게 하여, 제사장이 그 통치자가 지은 죄를 속하여 주면, 그 통치자는 용서를 받는다.	And he shall burn all his fat upon the altar, as the fat of the sacrifice of peace offerings: and the priest shall make an atonement for him as concerning his sin, and it shall be forgiven him.
27	일반 평민 가운데서 한 사람이 실수로, 나 주가 하지 말라고 명한 것 가운데서 하나를 어겨서, 그 허물로 벌을 받게 되면,	And if any one of the common people sin through ignorance, while he doeth somewhat against any of the commandments of the Lord concerning things which ought not to be done, and be guilty;
28	그는 자기가 지은 죄를 깨닫는 대로, 곧 자신이 지은 죄를 속하려고, 흠 없는 암염소 한 마리를 제물로 끌고 와서,	Or if his sin, which he hath sinned, come to his knowledge: then he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a female without blemish, for his sin which he hath sinned.
29	그 속죄제물의 머리 위에 손을 얹은 다음에, 번제물을 잡는 바로 그 곳에서 그 속죄제물을 잡아야 한다.	And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering, and slay the sin offering in the place of the burnt offering.
30	그러면 제사장은 그 제물의 피를 얼마 받아다가, 손가락으로 찍어서 번제단의 뿔에 바르고, 나머지 피는 모두 제단 밑바닥에 쏟아야 한다.	And the priest shall take of the blood thereof with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out all the blood thereof at the bottom of the altar.
31	제물을 가져 온 사람이, 화목제물의 기름기를 떼어 내듯이, 기름기를 모두 떼어 내면, 제사장은 그것을 받아 제단에 올려놓고, 나 주가 그 향기를 맡고 기뻐하도록 불살라야 한다. 이렇게 하여, 제사장이, 제물을 가져 온 사람의 죄를 속하여 주면, 그는 용서를 받는다.	And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat is taken away from off the sacrifice of peace offerings; and the priest shall burn it upon the altar for a sweet savour unto the Lord; and the priest shall make an atonement for him, and it shall be forgiven him.
32	평민이 속죄제사 제물로 양을 가져 오려면, 그는 흠 없는 암컷을 가져 와서,	And if he bring a lamb for a sin offering, he shall bring it a female without blemish.
33	그 속죄제물의 머리 위에 손을 얹은 다음에, 번제물을 잡는 바로 그 곳에서 그 암양을 잡아서 속죄제물로 삼아야 한다.	And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering, and slay it for a sin offering in the place where they kill the burnt offering.
34	그러면 제사장은 그 속죄제물의 피를 얼마 받아다가, 손가락으로 찍어서 번제단의 뿔에 바르고, 나머지 피는 모두 제단 밑바닥에 쏟아야 한다.	And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out all the blood thereof at the bottom of the altar:
35	제물을 가져 온 사람이, 화목제사의 제물에서 양의 기름기를 떼어 가져 오듯이, 기름기를 모두 떼어 가져 오면, 제사장은 그 기름기를 받아서, 제단 위, 나 주에게 살라 바치는 제물 위에 올려놓고 불살라야 한다. 이렇게 하여, 제사장이 제물을 가져 온 사람의 죄를 속하여 주면, 그는 용서를 받는다.	And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat of the lamb is taken away from the sacrifice of the peace offerings; and the priest shall burn them upon the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the Lord: and the priest shall make an atonement for his sin that he hath committed, and it shall be forgiven him.
