| 2 | Cantate all’Eterno, benedite il suo nome, annunziate di giorno in giorno la sua salvezza! | Sing unto the Lord, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day. |
| 3 | Raccontate la sua gloria fra le nazioni e le sue maraviglie fra tutti i popoli! | Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people. |
| 4 | Perché l’Eterno è grande e degno di sovrana lode; egli è tremendo sopra tutti gli dèi. | For the Lord is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods. |
| 5 | Poiché tutti gli dèi dei popoli son idoli vani, ma l’Eterno ha fatto i cieli. | For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the Lord made the heavens. |
