| 2 | Dall’estremità della terra io grido a te, con cuore abbattuto; conducimi alla ròcca ch’è troppo alta per me; | From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I. |
| 3 | poiché tu mi sei stato un rifugio, una forte torre dinanzi al nemico. | For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy. |
| 4 | Io dimorerò nel tuo tabernacolo per sempre, mi riparerò all’ombra delle tue ali. Sela. | I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of thy wings. Selah. |
| 5 | Poiché tu, o Dio, hai esaudito i miei voti, m’hai dato l’eredità di quelli che temono il tuo nome. | For thou, O God, hast heard my vows: thou hast given me the heritage of those that fear thy name. |
