| 2 | O Dio, ascolta la mia preghiera, porgi orecchio alle parole della mia bocca! | Hear my prayer, O God; give ear to the words of my mouth. |
| 3 | Poiché degli stranieri si son levati contro a me e de’ violenti cercano l’anima mia. Essi non tengono Iddio presente innanzi a loro. Sela. | For strangers are risen up against me, and oppressors seek after my soul: they have not set God before them. Selah. |
| 4 | Ecco, Iddio e colui che m’aiuta; il Signore è fra quelli che sostengon l’anima mia. | Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul. |
