| 2 | che state nella casa dell’Eterno, nei cortili della casa del nostro Dio. | Ye that stand in the house of the Lord, in the courts of the house of our God, |
| 3 | Lodate l’Eterno, perché l’Eterno è buono; salmeggiate al suo nome, perché è amabile. | Praise the Lord; for the Lord is good: sing praises unto his name; for it is pleasant. |
| 4 | Poiché l’Eterno ha scelto per sé Giacobbe, ha scelto Israele per suo speciale possesso. | For the Lord hath chosen Jacob unto himself, and Israel for his peculiar treasure. |

| 10 | Egli percosse grandi nazioni, e uccise re potenti: | Who smote great nations, and slew mighty kings; |

| 17 | hanno orecchi e non odono, e non hanno fiato alcuno nella loro bocca. | They have ears, but they hear not; neither is there any breath in their mouths. |
| 18 | Simili ad essi siano quelli che li fanno, tutti quelli che in essi confidano. | They that make them are like unto them: so is every one that trusteth in them. |
