| 1 | Canto dei pellegrinaggi. Quelli che confidano nell’Eterno sono come il monte di Sion, che non può essere smosso, ma dimora in perpetuo. | They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever. |
| 2 | Gerusalemme è circondata dai monti; e così l’Eterno circonda il suo popolo, da ora in perpetuo. | As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about his people from henceforth even for ever. |
| 3 | Poiché lo scettro dell’empietà non sempre rimarrà sulla eredità dei giusti, onde i giusti non mettan mano all’iniquità. | For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity. |
| 4 | O Eterno, fa’ del bene a quelli che son buoni, e a quelli che son retti nel loro cuore. | Do good, O Lord, unto those that be good, and to them that are upright in their hearts. |
