| 1 | Daavidin virsi. Auta minut oikeuteeni, Herra, sillä minä olen vaeltanut nuhteettomasti ja turvaan horjumatta Herraan. | Judge me, O Lord; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in the Lord; therefore I shall not slide. |
| 2 | Tutki minua, Herra, ja pane minut koetukselle, koettele minun munaskuuni ja sydämeni. | Examine me, O Lord, and prove me; try my reins and my heart. |
| 3 | Sillä sinun armosi on minun silmäini edessä, ja minä olen vaeltanut sinun totuudessasi. | For thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes: and I have walked in thy truth. |
| 4 | En minä istu valheen miesten seurassa enkä kulje salakavalain kanssa. | I have not sat with vain persons, neither will I go in with dissemblers. |
| 5 | Minä vihaan pahojen seuraa enkä istu jumalattomien parissa. | I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked. |
| 6 | Minä pesen käteni viattomuudessa, ja astun kulkueessa sinun alttarisi ympäri, Herra, | I will wash mine hands in innocency: so will I compass thine altar, O Lord: |
| 7 | antaakseni kuulua kiitokseni äänen ja julistaakseni kaikkia sinun ihmeitäsi. | That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works. |
| 8 | Herra, minä rakastan sinun huonettasi, sinun asuinsijaasi, sitä paikkaa, jossa sinun kirkkautesi asuu. | Lord, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth. |
| 9 | Älä tempaa pois minun sieluani syntisten kanssa äläkä minun henkeäni verenvuodattajain kanssa, | Gather not my soul with sinners, nor my life with bloody men: |
| 10 | joiden käsiä ilkityö tahraa, joiden oikea käsi on lahjuksia täynnä. | In whose hands is mischief, and their right hand is full of bribes. |
| 11 | Mutta minä vaellan nuhteettomasti; vapahda minut ja ole minulle armollinen. | But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity: redeem me, and be merciful unto me. |
| 12 | Minun jalkani seisoo tasaisella maalla; seurakunnan kokouksissa minä kiitän Herraa. | My foot standeth in an even place: in the congregations will I bless the Lord. |
