| 절 | Updated Gdańsk Bible | King James Version |
|---|---|---|
Czemu chlubisz się złem, mocarzu? Miłosierdzie Boże trwa nieustannie. | Why boastest thou thyself in mischief, O mighty man? the goodness of God endureth continually.
Twój język knuje przewrotność, ostry jak brzytwa, działający podstępnie. | Thy tongue deviseth mischiefs; like a sharp razor, working deceitfully.
Miłujesz zło bardziej niż dobro i kłamstwo bardziej niż mowę sprawiedliwą. Sela. | Thou lovest evil more than good; and lying rather than to speak righteousness. Selah.
Miłujesz wszelkie słowa szkodliwe, podstępny języku. | Thou lovest all devouring words, O thou deceitful tongue.
Dlatego Bóg zniszczy cię na wieki, pochwyci cię i wyrwie z namiotu, i wykorzeni cię z ziemi żyjących. Sela. | God shall likewise destroy thee for ever, he shall take thee away, and pluck thee out of thy dwelling place, and root thee out of the land of the living. Selah.
Zobaczą to sprawiedliwi i zlękną się, i będą się z niego śmiać: | The righteous also shall see, and fear, and shall laugh at him:
Oto człowiek, który nie uczynił Boga swoją siłą, ale ufał swym wielkim bogactwom i umacniał się w swojej nieprawości. | Lo, this is the man that made not God his strength; but trusted in the abundance of his riches, and strengthened himself in his wickedness.
Ja zaś jestem jak zielone drzewo oliwne w domu Bożym, zaufałem miłosierdziu Boga na wieki wieków. | But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God: I trust in the mercy of God for ever and ever.
Będę cię wysławiał na wieki, że to uczyniłeś, i będę oczekiwał twego imienia, gdyż jest dobre w oczach twoich świętych. | I will praise thee for ever, because thou hast done it: and I will wait on thy name; for it is good before thy saints.
