| 2 | Jak długo będę szukał rady w swojej duszy i codziennie trapił się w sercu? Jak długo mój wróg będzie się nade mnie wynosił? | How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall mine enemy be exalted over me? |
| 3 | Spójrz i wysłuchaj mnie, Panie, mój Boże! Oświeć moje oczy, bym nie zasnął w śmierci; | Consider and hear me, O Lord my God: lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death; |
| 4 | By nie powiedział mój wróg: Pokonałem go! Niech się nie cieszą moi nieprzyjaciele, gdy się zachwieję. | Lest mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him; and those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved. |
| 5 | Lecz ja zaufałem twemu miłosierdziu; moje serce rozraduje się twoim zbawieniem. | But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation. |
| 6 | Będę śpiewał Panu, bo obdarzył mnie dobrem. | I will sing unto the Lord, because he hath dealt bountifully with me. |
