1 Błogosław, moja duszo, Pana, i całe moje wnętrze – jego święte imię. Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
2 Błogosław, moja duszo, Pana, i nie zapominaj o wszystkich jego dobrodziejstwach. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
3 On przebacza wszystkie twoje nieprawości, on uzdrawia wszystkie twoje choroby; Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
4 On wybawia twoje życie od zguby, on cię koronuje miłosierdziem i wielką litością. Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
5 On nasyca dobrem twoje usta i odnawia twoją młodość jak u orła. Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
6 Pan wymierza sprawiedliwość i sąd wszystkim uciśnionym. The Lord executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.
7 Dał poznać swe drogi Mojżeszowi, a synom Izraela swoje dzieła. He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.
8 Łaskawy i litościwy jest Pan, nieskory do gniewu i pełen wielkiego miłosierdzia. The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.
9 Nie będzie się spierał bez końca ani wiecznie gniewu chował. He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.
10 Nie postępuje z nami według naszych grzechów ani nie odpłaca nam według naszych nieprawości. He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
11 Jak wysoko bowiem są niebiosa nad ziemią, tak wielkie jest jego miłosierdzie nad tymi, którzy się go boją. For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.
12 Jak daleko jest wschód od zachodu, tak daleko oddalił od nas nasze występki. As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.
13 Jak ojciec ma litość nad dziećmi, tak Pan ma litość nad tymi, którzy się go boją. Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him.
14 On bowiem wie, z czego jesteśmy ulepieni; pamięta, że jesteśmy prochem. For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.
15 Dni człowieka są jak trawa, kwitnie jak kwiat polny. As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.
16 Wiatr na niego powieje, a już go nie ma i nie pozna go już jego miejsce. For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.
17 Ale miłosierdzie Pana od wieków na wieki nad tymi, którzy się go boją, a jego sprawiedliwość nad synami synów; But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children’s children;
18 Nad tymi, którzy strzegą jego przymierza i pamiętają, aby wypełnić jego przykazania. To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.
19 Pan na niebiosach ustanowił swój tron, a jego królestwo panuje nad wszystkimi. The Lord hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all.
20 Błogosławcie Pana, jego aniołowie, potężni siłą, którzy wypełniacie jego rozkazy, będąc posłuszni głosowi jego słowa. Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.
21 Błogosławcie Pana, wszystkie jego zastępy, jego słudzy, którzy spełniacie jego wolę. Bless ye the Lord, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure.
22 Błogosławcie Pana, wszystkie jego dzieła, we wszystkich miejscach jego panowania. Błogosław, moja duszo, Pana. Bless the Lord, all his works in all places of his dominion: bless the Lord, O my soul.
