| 1 | Trwajcie więc w tej wolności, którą nas Chrystus wyzwolił, i nie poddawajcie się na nowo pod jarzmo niewoli. | Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. |
| 2 | Oto ja, Paweł, mówię wam, że jeśli dacie się obrzezać, Chrystus na nic wam się nie przyda. | Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing. |
| 3 | A oświadczam raz jeszcze każdemu człowiekowi, który daje się obrzezać, że jest zobowiązany wypełnić całe prawo. | For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law. |
| 4 | Pozbawiliście się Chrystusa wszyscy, którzy usprawiedliwiacie się przez prawo; wypadliście z łaski. | Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. |

| 13 | Bo wy, bracia, zostaliście powołani do wolności, tylko pod pozorem tej wolności nie pobłażajcie ciału, ale z miłości służcie jedni drugim. | For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. |
| 14 | Całe bowiem prawo wypełnia się w tym jednym słowie, mianowicie: Będziesz miłował swego bliźniego jak samego siebie. | For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. |
| 15 | Lecz jeśli wzajemnie się kąsacie i pożeracie, uważajcie, abyście się wzajemnie nie zjedli. | But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another. |
| 16 | Mówię więc: Postępujcie w Duchu, a nie spełnicie pożądania ciała. | This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. |
| 17 | Ciało bowiem pożąda na przekór Duchowi, a Duch na przekór ciału; są one sobie przeciwne, tak że nie możecie czynić tego, co chcecie. | For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. |
| 18 | Lecz jeśli jesteście prowadzeni przez Ducha, nie jesteście pod prawem. | But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. |
| 19 | A znane są uczynki ciała, którymi są: cudzołóstwo, nierząd, nieczystość, rozpusta; | Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, |
| 20 | Bałwochwalstwo, czary, nienawiść, niezgoda, zawiść, gniew, spory, kłótnie, herezje; | Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, |
| 21 | Zazdrość, zabójstwa, pijaństwo, hulanki i tym podobne; o nich wam mówię, jak już przedtem powiedziałem, że ci, którzy takie rzeczy czynią, królestwa Bożego nie odziedziczą. | Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. |
| 22 | Owocem zaś Ducha jest miłość, radość, pokój, cierpliwość, życzliwość, dobroć, wiara; | But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, |
| 23 | Łagodność, powściągliwość. Przeciwko takim nie ma prawa. | Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. |
| 24 | A ci, którzy należą do Chrystusa, ukrzyżowali swoje ciało wraz z namiętnościami i pożądliwościami. | And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. |
| 25 | Jeśli żyjemy w Duchu, w Duchu też postępujmy. | If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. |
| 26 | Nie bądźmy żądni próżnej chwały, jedni drugich drażniąc, jedni drugim zazdroszcząc. | Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another. |
