1 Psalm Dawidowy ku przypominaniu. O Lord, rebuke me not in thy wrath: neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.
2 Panie! w popędliwości twojej nie nacieraj na mię, a w gniewie twoim nie karz mię. For thine arrows stick fast in me, and thy hand presseth me sore.
3 Albowiem strzały twoje utknęły we mnie, a ręka twoja dolega mię. There is no soundness in my flesh because of thine anger; neither is there any rest in my bones because of my sin.
4 Niemasz nic całego w ciele mojem dla rozgniewania twego; niemasz odpoczynku kościom moim dla grzechu mojego. For mine iniquities are gone over mine head: as an heavy burden they are too heavy for me.
5 Bo nieprawości moje przycisnęły głowę moję; jako brzemię ciężkie obciążyły mię. My wounds stink and are corrupt because of my foolishness.
6 Zjątrzyły się, i pogniły rany moje, dla głupstwa mojego. I am troubled; I am bowed down greatly; I go mourning all the day long.
7 Skurczyłem się, i skrzywiłem się bardzo, na każdy dzień w żałobie chodzę. For my loins are filled with a loathsome disease: and there is no soundness in my flesh.
8 Albowiem wnętrzności moje pełne są brzydkości, a nie masz nic całego w ciele mojem. I am feeble and sore broken: I have roared by reason of the disquietness of my heart.
9 Zemdlałem, i startym jest bardzo, ryczę dla trwogi serca mego. Lord, all my desire is before thee; and my groaning is not hid from thee.
10 Panie! przed tobą jest wszystka żądość moja, a wzdychanie moje przed tobą nie jest skryte. My heart panteth, my strength faileth me: as for the light of mine eyes, it also is gone from me.
11 Serce moje skacze; opuściła mię siła moja, a jasności oczów moich nie masz przy mnie. My lovers and my friends stand aloof from my sore; and my kinsmen stand afar off.
12 Którzy mię miłują, i przyjaciele moi, stronią od ran moich, a powinowaci moi z daleka stoją. They also that seek after my life lay snares for me: and they that seek my hurt speak mischievous things, and imagine deceits all the day long.
13 I zastawili sidła ci, którzy szukają duszy mojej; a którzy mi szukają złego, mówili przewrotnie, i zdrady przez cały dzień zmyślali. But I, as a deaf man, heard not; and I was as a dumb man that openeth not his mouth.
14 Alem ja niby głuchy nie słyszał, a jako niemy, który ust swoich nie otwiera. Thus I was as a man that heareth not, and in whose mouth are no reproofs.
15 I stałem się jako człowiek, który nic nie słyszy, i niema odporu w ustach swoich. For in thee, O Lord, do I hope: thou wilt hear, O Lord my God.
16 Albowiem na cię, Panie! oczekuję; ty za mię odpowiesz, Panie, Boże mój! For I said, Hear me, lest otherwise they should rejoice over me: when my foot slippeth, they magnify themselves against me.
17 Bom rzekł: Niechaj się nie cieszą ze mnie; gdyby szwankowała noga moja, niechaj się hardzie nie podnoszą przeciwko mnie. For I am ready to halt, and my sorrow is continually before me.
18 Bom ja upadku bliski, a boleść moja zawżdy jest przedemną. For I will declare mine iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin.
19 Owszem, nieprawość moję wyznaję, a frasuję się dla grzechu mojego. But mine enemies are lively, and they are strong: and they that hate me wrongfully are multiplied.
20 Ale nieprzyjaciele moi weselą się, zmacniają się, i rozmnażają się ci, którzy mię nienawidzą bez przyczyny: They also that render evil for good are mine adversaries; because I follow the thing that good is.
21 A oddawając mi złem za dobre sprzeciwiają mi się, przeto, że naśladuję tego, co jest dobrego. Forsake me not, O Lord: O my God, be not far from me.
22 Nie opuszczajże mię, Panie, Boże mój! nie oddalajże się odemnie. Pośpiesz na ratunek mój, Panie zbawienia mego! Make haste to help me, O Lord my salvation.
