A KOMAIL kapwapwa kan, sangesangki o weriwereki, kampamail pan lel ong komail! | Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you.
Omail kapwa kan olar, o man en mot kangalar omail likau kan. | Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten.
Omail kold o silper mirelar, ari, ar mir me pan kadede ong komail, o pan ngar pasang uduk omail due kisiniai. Nan komail nakier kapwa ni imwin ran akan. | Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.
Komail ngar, pwain en toun dodok, me kop penaer dipisou en sap omail, me komail kulia sanger, kin weriwer; o likwir en saundolung akan lel ong karonga en Kaun Sepaot. | Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth.
Komail ipuepuarok kier me sued nin sappa, dender ong, komail kamue matier mongiong omail rasong man wi, me pan kamela. | Ye have lived in pleasure on the earth, and been wanton; ye have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter.
Komail kadeikada o kamela me pung o, a a sota palian komail er. | Ye have condemned and killed the just; and he doth not resist you.
Ari ri ai ko, komail kanongama lao lel en atail Kaun a pan kotin pwarado. Kilang, saumat amen kin auiaui wa mau en sap o, o a kin kanongama lao katau en mas o mur moredier. | Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.
Komail ari pil kanongama eta, katenge mongiong omail, pwe en atail Kaun a pwarado me korendor. | Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.
Ri ai ko, komail der pilipil en pan moli ki amen amen, pwe komail ender pakadeikada. Kilang, saunkadeik o mi pan wanim. | Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door.
Ri ai ko, ni omail kalokolok o kanongama komail alale sang saukop akan, me kokopeki ni mar en Kaun o. | Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience.
Kilang, kitail kin kapinga me dadauratar. Komail ronger duen kanongama en Iop, o kilanger imwin Kaun O, pwe Kaun o kin kupukupura o kapunglol kaualap. | Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.
Ri ai ko, komail kalaka, pwe komail der kaula; der kaukila lang de sappa, o der wia eu song en kaula; a omail sapeng en ei ta, o omail so en so, pwe komail de lodi ong kadeik o. | But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation.
Ma amen re omail kamekam, a en kapakap, a ma amen insenemau, a en kauleki psalm. | Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms.
Ma amen mi re omail me somau, en ukado saunkoa en momodisou kan, pwe irail en kapakapa kin i, murin ar keie kin i le ni mar en Kaun o. | Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
Ari, kapakap poson pan kamaureda me somau o, o Kaun o pan kakelada i, o ma a wiaer dip kai, re pan sapedokalar sang. | And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
I me komail en weok pena dip omail o kapakapaki amen amen, pwe komail en kelail la. Kapakap melel en me pung amen kin kareda me toto. | Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
Elias aramas amen dueta kitail, a kapakapaki katau ender moredi, ari solar katau moredi ong sappa ni par silu o saunipong wonu. | Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.
O a kotin pur ong kapakap, nanlang ap kamoredier katau, o sap kapareda wa kan. | And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.
Ri ai ko, meamen mi re omail, me salongala ni melel, o amen kasapaledo i, | Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him;
I en asa, me kasapaledo me dipan amen sang ni a salongala, a kamaureda sang mela ngen eu, me a pan pwain kidi dip toto. | Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.
