| 3 | Pwe ngen i me dir en mamauk, o maur i koren iong mela. | For my soul is full of troubles: and my life draweth nigh unto the grave. |
| 4 | Ngai kin wadok ong ir me melar, ngai dueta ol amen, me solar angiangi. | I am counted with them that go down into the pit: I am as a man that hath no strength: |
| 5 | I wonon nan pung en me melar akan, me wonon nan sousou, me kom solar kotin kupura, pwe re lokidokilar sang nan lim omui. | Free among the dead, like the slain that lie in the grave, whom thou rememberest no more: and they are cut off from thy hand. |

| 9 | Mas ai suede kilar ai luet, nin ran karos i potoan ong komui, Maing Ieowa, o i kapa wong komui pa i kat. | Mine eye mourneth by reason of affliction: Lord, I have called daily upon thee, I have stretched out my hands unto thee. |
| 10 | Kom pan kotin kasaleda omui manaman ren me melar akan? De me melar akan pan maurada danke komui? Sela. | Wilt thou shew wonders to the dead? shall the dead arise and praise thee? Selah. |
| 11 | Re pan kosoia duen omui kalangan nan sousou kan? O wasan mela duen omui melel? | Shall thy lovingkindness be declared in the grave? or thy faithfulness in destruction? |
| 12 | Omui manaman akan pan sansaleda wasa rotorot, o omui pung nan sap en me re solar kin lamelame? | Shall thy wonders be known in the dark? and thy righteousness in the land of forgetfulness? |

| 15 | Ngai me luet o saliel sang ni ai pulepul; i kin kamekamki omui kalom, i koren iong solar kaporopor. | I am afflicted and ready to die from my youth up: while I suffer thy terrors I am distracted. |
| 16 | Omui ongiong kin kadupal ia di, omui kalom kawe ia lar. | Thy fierce wrath goeth over me; thy terrors have cut me off. |
| 17 | Re kapil ia pena dueta pil akan sang ni mansang lel sautik, ir karos kapil ia pena. | They came round about me daily like water; they compassed me about together. |
