| 2 | Pwe ren der dueta laien amen kol ia di o tapeng ia pasang, pwe sota pil amen saundor. | Lest he tear my soul like a lion, rending it in pieces, while there is none to deliver. |
| 3 | Maing, ai Kot, ma i wiadar mepukat, o ma pa i kat wiadar sapung, | O Lord my God, if I have done this; if there be iniquity in my hands; |
| 4 | O ma i depukki mesued en akai ar wiawia mau ong ia, pwe i dorelar, me imwintiti ong ia, ap sota karepa, | If I have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace with me; (yea, I have delivered him that without cause is mine enemy:) |
| 5 | A ma so due, ai imwintiti en kaloke ia, o kol ia di, o tiakedi maur i nani pwel, o kawela mar ai. Sela. | Let the enemy persecute my soul, and take it; yea, let him tread down my life upon the earth, and lay mine honour in the dust. Selah. |
| 6 | Maing, kom kotida ni omui ongiong o kotin palian makar en ai imwintiti kan, o kotin opadang ia, pwe re kotin inau kidar kapung, | Arise, O Lord, in thine anger, lift up thyself because of the rage of mine enemies: and awake for me to the judgment that thou hast commanded. |
| 7 | Pwe wei kan pan pokon dong ir; o re kotin purodala pweki irail. | So shall the congregation of the people compass thee about: for their sakes therefore return thou on high. |
| 8 | Ieowa iei saunkapung en wei kan. Maing, kotin sauasa ia, duen ai pung o duen ai lelapok! | The Lord shall judge the people: judge me, O Lord, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me. |
| 9 | Re kotin kadukiedi mesued en me doo sang Kot akan, ap kotin katengedi me pung kan. Pwe komui Kot pung, kin kotin kasaui mongiong o mudilik kan. | Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins. |

| 11 | Kot saunkapung pung amen, me kotin ongiongada ni ran karos. | God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day. |
| 12 | Ma meamen sota pan wukila, a ap kotin ada sapwilim a kodlas o onopada kasik katieu o kainene wong i, | If he turn not, he will whet his sword; he hath bent his bow, and made it ready. |
| 13 | O kotin pwil poa kanangan kasik katieu men kamela. A kotin kaonopada sapwilim a kanangan kasik katieu, pwe men karongala. | He hath also prepared for him the instruments of death; he ordaineth his arrows against the persecutors. |
| 14 | Kilang, a lamelam me dir en sued, a lisenaneki men kaokaoe o pan naitikedi likam. | Behold, he travaileth with iniquity, and hath conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood. |
| 15 | A weiradar por eu o wiadar lolia, ap pein pupedi ong lole, me a weiradar. | He made a pit, and digged it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made. |
| 16 | A men kamela pan sapale dong pein mong a, o a dodok sued pan pupedi ong pein a al en wel. | His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate. |
| 17 | I pan kapinga Ieowa, pweki a pung, o i pan kauleki mar en Ieowa me lapalapia. | I will praise the Lord according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the Lord most high. |
