A SAULUS pil peren kida a kamela. A ni ran ota ansaun kamekam en momodisou en Ierusalem tapida; karos ap muei pasang nan sap en Iudäa o Samaria, wanporon akan me so. | And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except the apostles.
A ol lelapok kai sarepedi Stepanus o maieiki i kaualap. | And devout men carried Stephen to his burial, and made great lamentation over him.
A Saulus me kamueit pasang momodisou o kuli ong im karos, wala ol o li karos, kasedi ong irail nan imateng. | As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison.
A irail me muei pasanger, kakan sili padapadak duen masan o. | Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.
Pilipus ap kotilang kanim en Samaria eu o padaki ong irail duen Kristus. | Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them.
A aramas akan wiaki eu peiki ong meakan, me Pilipus padaki ong irail. Re rongerong i o kilang kilel akan me a wiadar. | And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.
Pwe ngen saut keredi sang ren me toto ni ar weriwer laud. O me kokon madak o nä dangidang toto me kelailadar. | For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed.
O peren me lapalap nan kanim o. | And there was great joy in that city.
A ol amen ad a Simon, me kin wun ani mas o, kotokotaue men Samaria, me inda duen pein i, me i me lapalap. | But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one:
A irail karos peiki ong i, me tikitik o me lapalap akan katitiki: Men et iei manaman en Kot me lapalap. | To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of God.
A re kin peiki ong i, pweki a kin kotokotaue irail sang mas kokodo. | And to him they had regard, because that of long time he had bewitched them with sorceries.
A re lao kamelele Pilipus, me padaki duen rongamau en wein Kot o duen mar en Iesus Kristus, rap paptaisela, ol o li akan. | But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.
Simon pil iang posonlar, I lao paptaiselar, ap waroki ong Pilipus. A lao udial kilel o manaman akan, me wiauier, ap puriamuiki. | Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.
Wanporon akan me kotikot Ierusalem lao mangi, me Samaria iang duki ong masan en Kot, rap poronelang irail Petrus o Ioanes. | Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:
Ira lao kotido, ap kapakapa kin irail, pwe re en tungole Ngen saraui. | Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost:
Pwe a saikenta moredi ong amen irail. Re paptaiselar eta ni mar en Kaun Iesus. | (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)
Ira ari kotiki ong po ’rail lim ar akan, irail ap aleer Ngen saraui. | Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.
Simon lao kilanger, me Ngen saraui kokido en wanporon oko ara pwil po ’rail lim ar akan, ap men ki ong ira kisin moni. | And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles’ hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money,
Indada: Koma pil kotiki dong ia manaman wet, pwe ma i pan pwil pon amen pa i kat, i en ale Ngen saraui. | Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost.
A Petrus masani ong i: Noum moni en iang uk lokidokila! Pweki om kiki ong, me mana en Kot kokido moni. | But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.
Nan sota pwais om de om tungol ni dodok wet, pwe mongiong om sota inen mon Kot. | Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God.
Ari, kalukila om sued wet, o poeki ren Kaun o, ma a sota pan kotin makeki lamelam sued nan mongiong om. | Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee.
Pwe i kilanger, me koe me dir en edi katik o tengiteng ni me sapung. | For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity.
Simon ap sapeng indada: Koma kotin kapakapa kin ia ren Kaun o, pwe mepukat, me koma masani ong ia, ender pwai dong ia. | Then answered Simon, and said, Pray ye to the Lord for me, that none of these things which ye have spoken come upon me.
A ira lao katitiki o kotikida masan en Kaun o, ap purelang Ierusalem, o padak sili rongamau nan kisin kanim en Samaria toto. | And they, when they had testified and preached the word of the Lord, returned to Jerusalem, and preached the gospel in many villages of the Samaritans.
A tounlang en Kaun o masani ong Pilipus: Uda kola pali air pon al o, me kodi sang Ierusalem, ko ong Kasa me tan! | And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert.
I ari uda sapalewei. A kilang, ol en Etiopia, saumas manaman en Kandase, li nanmarki en Etiopia, me kokoaki a dipisou karos, me kotido, pwen kaudok nan Ierusalem. | And he arose and went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship,
A ni a purela sap we, a kotikot pon dakepa o dondoropwe saukop Iesaia. | Was returning, and sitting in his chariot read Esaias the prophet.
Ngen o ap kotin masani ong Pilipus: Kai ong o iangala dakepa! | Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot.
Pilipus ap tanga wong i, ap rongadar a dondoropwe saukop Iesaia masani: Komui weweki, me komui doropwe? | And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest?
I ari masani: Pala i pan asa, ma sota, me pan kawewe ong ia? I ari poeki ren Pilipus en kereda mondi re a. | And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him.
A iet wasa nan kisin likau o me a wadoker: Duen sip amen, me pakara wei, pwen kamela, o duen sippul, me kin nenenlata pan me kote sang wun a, iduen a sota kotin dauasa pasang silang i. | The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth:
A ni a karakarak a solar pakadeikadar. A is me pan kak kaweweda duen sau i kan? Pwe a ieias wisike sanger sappa. | In his humiliation his judgment was taken away: and who shall declare his generation? for his life is taken from the earth.
Saumas ap sapeng Pilipus masani: I men poeki re omui, is me saukop katitiki met? Duen pein i de duen amen? | And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himself, or of some other man?
Pilipus ap kotiki pasang au a, padaki ong i rongamau en Iesus, tapiada nan kisin likau wet. | Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.
A ni ara kokowei, ira lel ong pil apot, a saumas o masani: Kilang pil o, da me karompa, me i sota paptais ki? | And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?
— | And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
I ap masani dakepa en udi. Ira karos ap kodi ong pil o, Pilipus o saumas o; i ari paptais i. | And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.
Ira lao kodado sang nan pil o, Ngen en Kaun o ap pokada sang Pilipus. Saumas o ap solar kilang i. I ari daulul kokowei popol. | And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.
Pilipus ap diarokadar Asdod; a dadaulular, padak sili rongamau nan kanim karos lao a lele dong Säsarea. | But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Cesarea.
