절Old Public Domain Pohnpeian BibleKing James Version
PIL dueta komail li akan, udi ong pein omail warok kan, pwe irail me so poson masan o, en pil dore kila wiawia mau en li akan o arail nenenla. Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives;
Ni arail kilekilang omail wiawia min iangaki lan. While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear.
Arail kapwat ender ni pali liki ni arail ingid pena pit en monga de kapwat ki kold, de diliong nan likau lingan. Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel;
A kapwat me so sansal mi nan mongiong en aramas, me so sor, impai, opampap, iei me kasampwal ren Kot. But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.
Pwe iduen kapwat en li saraui en kaua kan, me kaporoporeki Kot o duki ong pein arail warok kan. For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands:
Duen Sara, me peiki ong Apraam o kamare kin i: Ai kaun; a komail wiala na seri kan, ma komail pan wiawia mau o sota masak. Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement.
Pil dueta komail ol akan, lelapoki ong omail warok kan, kaka kin irail, pwe koma sosoki pena mak en maur, pwe omail kapakap ender poula. Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.
A iet imwin mepukat: Komail karos en lamalam ta pot, o pokepok pena, o pok ong ri omail akan, o kadek, o aktikitik. Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:
Komail der depukki me sued me sued, de lokaia sued lokaia sued, a kapaiada, ap asa, me a kilele ong komail, en sosoki pai kan. Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.
Pwe me men pok ong maur o inong iong ran mau akan, i en pera sang sued lo a, o kil en au a, pwe re depa kotaue. For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:
A en muei sang me sued, ap wia me mau, en rapaki popol, ap dadaurata. Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.
Pwe silang in Kaun o kin pera me pung kan, o karong a me mangi ar kapakap. A silang in Kaun o kin palian irail me wia sued. For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.
Is i me pan kaokaoe komail, ma komail dadaurata me mau? And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?
A ma komail kamekameki me pung, komail meid pai; komail der masak irail o der waponda. But and if ye suffer for righteousness’ sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled;
A komail en kasarauiki nan mongiong omail Kaun Kristus. Ansau karos komail en kak sapeng ong amen amen me kalelapok re omail duen kaporopor o, me mi lol omail. But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
A mepukat en wiaui nin tiak en opampap, o masak, o insen makelekel, pwe irail, me kinekine likam ong komail ni omail wiawia mau ren Kristus, ren namenokala ni ar karaun kin komail likam. Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.
Me mau, ma i kupur en Kot, komail kamekameki me mau, sang omail kamekameki me sued. For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.
Pwe pil Kristus kamekame ki dip pan mepak, me Pung wiliandi me sapung kan; pwen kalua kitail dong Kot. Pali uduk kamekamelar ap kaiasa kida Ngen. For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
I me a kotidilang wasa tengeteng, pwen padaki ong ngen akan, By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison;
Me sota peik mas o, ni ansau me Kot kotin auiaui o kanongama ong ir ni muein Noa, ni ansau, me war im wiauier, me malaulau, ir me walemen, maure kila pil o. Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.
I me pil kin kamaur komail la ansau wet ni paptais a kaidin kaminela pali uduk, pwe inau en insen mau ong Kot eu, ki en Iesus Kristus a iasadar. The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:
A kotidalang nanlang, kotikot ni pali maun en Kot. Tounlang kan, o lapalap akan, o manaman akan upai ong i. Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.
