KADEKADEO a pil kotin tapiada kawewe liman sed o. Pokon kalaimun eu ap ko pena re a. A ap kotidang pon sop pot kotikot pon sed o. A pokon o mi nan sap pon oror. | And he began again to teach by the sea side: and there was gathered unto him a great multitude, so that he entered into a ship, and sat in the sea; and the whole multitude was by the sea on the land.
A kotin kawewe ong irail me toto ni i karaseras akan, masani ong irail ni a padak: | And he taught them many things by parables, and said unto them in his doctrine,
Rong! Kilang, saunkamor o kolan kamorok. | Hearken; Behold, there went out a sower to sow:
Ni a kamokamorok akai ap moridi ong pon kailan al, manpir ap pirido nam ir ala. | And it came to pass, as he sowed, some fell by the way side, and the fowls of the air came and devoured it up.
A akai moredi ong wasa takain, wasa pwel petepet; irail ari madang wosada, pweki sota pwel lole. | And some fell on stony ground, where it had not much earth; and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of earth:
Ni en katipin dakarada, re ap mongela o mela pweki sota kalau ar. | But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away.
A akai moredi nan tuka teketek; o tuka teketek wosada, kasokiala, re ap sota wa. | And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit.
A akai moredi nan pwel mau o pwaida wa; akai pan me sileisok; a akai me woneisok, a akai me epuki. | And other fell on good ground, and did yield fruit that sprang up and increased; and brought forth, some thirty, and some sixty, and some an hundred.
A kotin masani: Me salong a mia men rong, i en rong! | And he said unto them, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
A lao kotin kalapukela, men imp a iangaki ekriamen ap kalelapok re a duen karaseras pukat. | And when he was alone, they that were about him with the twelve asked of him the parable.
A ap kotin masani ong irail: A muei ong komail, en asa duen me rir en wein Kot. A men liki re pan asa meakaros sang ni karaseras akan. | And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:
Pwe re kilang, ari sota kilang, o rongerong, ap sota dedeki; pwe re de pan wukila o dip ar lapwa sang irail. | That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.
A ap kotin masani ong irail: Komail sota dedeki karaseras pot et? A iaduen, omail pan asa karaseras tei ko? | And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables?
Saunkamor me kamorok sili masan. | The sower soweth the word.
A mepukat me mi pon kailan al, wasa masan moredi ong, a re lao rongadar, Satan ap madangado, ki sang masan, me kamoremoredi ong nan mongiong arail. | And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.
O mepukat me moredi ong wasan takain, re lao rongadar masan o ap madang peren kida ale. | And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness;
A sota kalaua re ’rail ap dadaur eta ekis, lao songesong o kamekam wiaui pweki masan o, re ap madang makar kida. | And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word’s sake, immediately they are offended.
A mepukat me moredi ong nan tuka teketek, me rongada masan. | And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word,
A anan en pai en sappa o inong kapwa, o norok en okotme pwaida, kasokela masan, ap sota wa. | And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.
A mepukat irail, me moredi ong nan pwel mau, me rongada masan o, ale o wa, akai pan me sileisok, a akai me woneisok, a akai me epuki. | And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.
A kotin masani ong irail: Kandel pan wisikedo, pwen ko ong pan kasak de pan men wendi? A sote koda wong nin deun kandel? | And he said unto them, Is a candle brought to be put under a bushel, or under a bed? and not to be set on a candlestick?
Pwe sota me rir kot, me so pan sansalada, pil sota me okiok kot, me so pan lok sili. | For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad.
Meamen me salong a mia men rong, i en rong! | If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.
A ap kotin masani ong irail: Komail kalaka, me komail rong! Pwe men song, me komail songki iduen a pil pan song, ong komail. O omail tungol pan laud. | And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given.
Pwe me a mia, ekis pan ko ong; a me sota a mia, me ekis mi re a, pan katia sang. | For he that hath, to him shall be given: and he that hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he hath.
A kotin masani: Iet duen wein Kot, ras ong aramas amen, me kamoredi ong nan pwel war en tuka. | And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground;
Ap mairela, pirida, pong ran; a war o wosada ap kakairida a ap sota asa due. | And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how.
Pwe pwel kin pein kawosada tuka. Mas katoka, mur mpok, mur war en korn nan mpok ap pwarada. | For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.
A ni wa ma, a ap madang ki ong men lepukedi, pwe rak mier. | But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come.
A pil kotin masani: Da me kitail en karasai ong wein Kot? De da me kitail en kasosong ong? | And he said, Whereunto shall we liken the kingdom of God? or with what comparison shall we compare it?
A rasong wan tuka, me pan kamoremoredi ong nan pwel, me tikitik sang war karos, me mi nan sap. | It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth:
A lao kamoredi, ap wosada laude sang dip karos, ap kasang pasang laud; manpir en pan lang ap kin wendi pan mot a. | But when it is sown, it groweth up, and becometh greater than all herbs, and shooteth out great branches; so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the shadow of it.
I song en karaseras akan toto a kotiki ong irail ni a kawewe ong irail masan o duen ar weweki. | And with many such parables spake he the word unto them, as they were able to hear it.
Sota a masan, ma so karaseras. Ni arail kelepala, a ap kotin kadede ong sapwilim a tounpadak kan meakan. | But without a parable spake he not unto them: and when they were alone, he expounded all things to his disciples.
Ni ran ota, lao sautik penaer, a kotin masani ong irail: Kitail daulul wong palio! | And the same day, when the even was come, he saith unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side.
Ari, ni ar kadar pasang pokon o, re kamasalada nin sop o. Pil akai kisin sop mi re a. | And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships.
Melimel ap koda, iluk ap pungedi ong nan sop o kadirela. | And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full.
A a kotikot nan murin sop o, saisaimok pon ulunga. Irail ap kaopada potoan ong i: Saunpadak, kom sota kupurai kit, pweki at pan mela? | And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?
I ari kotin kipada, angiangida melimel, o kotin masani ong sed o: Moledi! Ang ap dukedi o molela kaualap. | And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
A ap kotin masani ong irail: Da me komail masapwekeki? Iadue, sota omail poson? | And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?
Irail masapwekada kaualap, ap indada nan pung arail: Iaduen ol men et, me ang o sed peiki ong? | And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?
