|---|---|---|
A iet me i men inda: Soso men arain a seri, a so toror sang ladu men, ari so, a kaun en meakaros. | Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;
A kin upa ong saunpadak o saunkoa kan lao lel ansau me sam a kileledier. | But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.
Iduen kitail ni atail kisin seri, kitail kin upai ong padak en sappa kan. | Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world:
A ansau lao leler, Kot ap kotin poronedo sapwilim a Ol, me ipwidi sang ren li amen, ap mi pan kapung o. | But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
Pwen kasaledoka ir ala, me mi pan kapung, pwe kitail en wiala sapwilim a seri. | To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
Komail ari seri kan, i me Kot ap kotin poronedo Ngen en sapwilim a Ol nan mongiong atail, me kin likelikwir: Apa Sam! | And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
Ari, solar ladu men, pwe seri ta; a ma seri nan pil seri soso en Kot. | Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
A ni ansau o me komail sasa Kot, komail papaer me kaidin udan kot akan. | Howbeit then, when ye knew not God, ye did service unto them which by nature are no gods.
A metet komail asalar Kot, o Kot me kotin mangi komail melel, menda komail pil sapal lang lamalam sued o sakanekan, me komail men pur ong papa? | But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?
Komail kin kasarauiela ran akai, o saunipong kai, o ansau kai, o saunpar kai. | Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years.
I ngong kin komail, pwe ele ai dodok ong komail sota pan kadepa. | I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain.
Ri ai kan, i ngidingidi kin komail, en dueta ngai, pwe ngai kin dueta komail, pwe sota me sued kot, me komail wiai ong ia er. | Brethren, I beseech you, be as I am; for I am as ye are: ye have not injured me at all.
A komail asa due i mas o, me i padaki ong komail er rongamau ni ai luet en pali uduk. | Ye know how through infirmity of the flesh I preached the gospel unto you at the first.
O komail sota mamaleki ai songesong ni uduk ai o tata kin ia; a komail apwali ia la dueta ngai tounlang en Kot amen, de dueta Iesus Kristus. | And my temptation which was in my flesh ye despised not, nor rejected; but received me as an angel of God, even as Christ Jesus.
Iaduen wan omail pai ni ansau o! Pwe i kadede duen komail, ma a kak pa omail, komail pan pwadika sang por en mas omail ap ki ong ia. | Where is then the blessedness ye spake of? for I bear you record, that, if it had been possible, ye would have plucked out your own eyes, and have given them to me.
Iaduen, i wiala omail imwintiti, pweki ai lokaia melel ong komail. | Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?
Arail nanantiong rapaki komail me sota mau; irail men kamueit kitail pasang, pwe komail en id idauen irail. | They zealously affect you, but not well; yea, they would exclude you, that ye might affect them.
Me mau ansau karos en nantiong me mau kan, a kaidin ta ni ai mi re omail. | But it is good to be zealously affected always in a good thing, and not only when I am present with you.
Nai seri kan! I naitik sapal komail ki madak, lao Kristus kawuk komail la ong pein mom a. | My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,
I men mi re omail ansau wet o men kawukila ngil ai, pwe i sasalar ir omail. | I desire to be present with you now, and to change my voice; for I stand in doubt of you.
Komail, me kin men mi pan kapung o, indang ia, ma komail sota kin rong kapung o? | Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law?
Pwe a intingidier, me nain Apraam putak riamen mia, amen sang ren na lidu, a amen sang ren me maioda. | For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman.
A me song ren lidu ipwiki uduk, a me sang ren me maioda, ipwiki inau en Kot. | But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise.
Mepukat karasepa eu, pwe met inau riau, eu sang ni nana Sinai, me kin naitiki ong na kan papa, i me Akar. | Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar.
Pwe Akar nana Sinai nan Arapien, me rasong Ierusalem en met, o kin lidilidui iang na seri kan. | For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.
A Ierusalem, me mi poa, me maioda iei in atail. | But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.
Pwe a intingidier: Pereperen koe me li dapwan, me sota kin naitik, kadailong o werida koe, me so kaipwi ong, pwe nain li dapwan seri kan me toto sang me a warok mia. | For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.
A komail ri ai ol akan, me rasong Isaak, me seri en inau kan. | Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.
A duen mas o, me ipwiki uduk, me kailongki me ipwiki Ngen o, iduen ansau wet. | But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.
A da me kisin likau o masani? Kasela li lidu o na putak! Pwe putak en lidu sota pan iang nain li me maioda sosoki. | Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.
Ari ri ai kan, kitail sota seri en lidu, pwe nain me maioda. | So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free.
