| 2 | Mitt hjarta er roleg, Gud, eg vil syngja og lovsyngja, ja, det skal mi æra. | Awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early. |
| 3 | Vakna, harpa og cither! eg vil vekkja morgonroden. | I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations. |
| 4 | Eg vil prisa deg millom folki, Herre, eg vil lovsyngja deg millom folkeslagi. | For thy mercy is great above the heavens: and thy truth reacheth unto the clouds. |
| 5 | For di miskunn er stor yver himmelen, og din truskap til dei høge skyer. | Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth; |
