1	이스라엘과 에브라임의 잘못 (하나님) “이 말을 들어라, 제사장들아! 주의 깊게 들어라, 이스라엘 집안아! 임금의 집안아, 귀 기울여라! 너희가 정의를 이루어 내야 하기 때문이다. 너희가 미스바에 올가미가 되었고 다볼 위에 펼쳐 놓은 그물이 되었기 때문이다.	Hear ye this, O priests; and hearken, ye house of Israel; and give ye ear, O house of the king; for judgment is toward you, because ye have been a snare on Mizpah, and a net spread upon Tabor.
2	싯딤의 구덩이를 그들이 깊게 팠다. 나는 그들 모두에게 엄격한 선생이 되었다.	And the revolters are profound to make slaughter, though I have been a rebuker of them all.
3	나야말로 에브라임을 안다. 이스라엘은 나를 피해 숨지 못한다. 지금 네가 마구 놀아났구나, 에브라임아! 이스라엘이 스스로를 더럽혔구나!”	I know Ephraim, and Israel is not hid from me: for now, O Ephraim, thou committest whoredom, and Israel is defiled.
4	(예언자) 그들의 행동이 그들을 자신들의 하나님께 돌아가지 못하게 만듭니다. 놀아나는 영이 그들 속에 있고, 여호와를 그들이 알지 못하기 때문입니다.	They will not frame their doings to turn unto their God: for the spirit of whoredoms is in the midst of them, and they have not known the Lord.
5	이스라엘의 거만함이 자신들에게 불리하게 증언할 것입니다. 이스라엘과 에브라임이 자신들의 잘못에 걸려 넘어질 것입니다. 유다도 그들과 함께 넘어질 것입니다.	And the pride of Israel doth testify to his face: therefore shall Israel and Ephraim fall in their iniquity; Judah also shall fall with them.
6	양 떼와 소 떼를 몰고 그들이 여호와를 찾으러 가더라도 만나 뵙지 못할 것입니다. 여호와께서 이미 그들한테서 물러나셨습니다.	They shall go with their flocks and with their herds to seek the Lord; but they shall not find him; he hath withdrawn himself from them.
7	여호와를 그들이 배신했습니다. 낯선 자식들을 그들이 낳았기 때문입니다. 이제 새 달이 그들과 그들의 몫을 집어삼킬 것입니다.	They have dealt treacherously against the Lord: for they have begotten strange children: now shall a month devour them with their portions.
8	이스라엘과 유다에 쏟으실 분노 (하나님) “기브아에서 뿔나팔을 불고, 라마에서 트럼펫을 불어라! 베다웬에서 함성을 내질러라! ‘너의 뒤에 우리가 있다, 베냐민아!’ 하고.	Blow ye the cornet in Gibeah, and the trumpet in Ramah: cry aloud at Beth–aven, after thee, O Benjamin.
9	징계받는 날에 에브라임은 황무지가 될 것이다. 이스라엘 지파들 가운데 내가 확실한 일을 알려 주었다.	Ephraim shall be desolate in the day of rebuke: among the tribes of Israel have I made known that which shall surely be.
10	유다의 지도자들이 경계를 표시하는 돌을 옮기는 사람들처럼 되었구나. 그들에게 내가 나의 분노를 물처럼 쏟을 것이다!	The princes of Judah were like them that remove the bound: therefore I will pour out my wrath upon them like water.
11	에브라임은 억눌리고 있고, 법질서는 무너졌구나. 그가 헛것을 쫓아가는 일에 매달리고 있기 때문이다.	Ephraim is oppressed and broken in judgment, because he willingly walked after the commandment.
12	내가 에브라임에게는 고름 같고, 유다 집안의 사람들에게는 썩어 빠진 뼈 같다.	Therefore will I be unto Ephraim as a moth, and to the house of Judah as rottenness.
13	에브라임이 자신의 질병을 알았고, 유다는 자신의 곪은 상처를 알았다. 그래서 에브라임은 아시리아로 갔고 대왕에게 사람을 보냈다. 그러나 그는 너희를 치료해 주지 못하고, 너희의 곪은 상처를 낫게 해 주지 못한다.	When Ephraim saw his sickness, and Judah saw his wound, then went Ephraim to the Assyrian, and sent to king Jareb: yet could he not heal you, nor cure you of your wound.
14	내가 에브라임에게는 사자 같고, 유다 집안의 사람들에게는 젊은 사자와 같기 때문이다. 내가, 바로 내가 잡아 찢고는 가 버릴 것이다. 내가 끌고 가면 건져 낼 사람이 아무도 없을 것이다.	For I will be unto Ephraim as a lion, and as a young lion to the house of Judah: I, even I, will tear and go away; I will take away, and none shall rescue him.
15	내가 나의 자리로 돌아가겠다. 마침내 그들이 자신들의 죄를 깨닫고 나의 얼굴을 찾을 것이다. 어려움에 빠져서야 그들이 나를 힘써 찾을 것이다.”	I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early.
