절	새한글성경 (2024)	King James Version
1	기브아 시절부터 죄지은 이스라엘 (예언자) 이스라엘은 무성한 포도나무입니다. 스스로 열매를 맺습니다. 그 열매가 많은 만큼 제단을 많이 만들었고, 그 땅이 좋은 만큼 돌기둥들을 좋게 만들었습니다.	Israel is an empty vine, he bringeth forth fruit unto himself: according to the multitude of his fruit he hath increased the altars; according to the goodness of his land they have made goodly images.
2	그들의 마음이 거짓됩니다. 이제 그들이 죗값을 치를 것입니다. 여호와께서 그들의 제단들을 깨뜨리시고, 그들의 돌기둥들을 망가뜨리실 것입니다.	Their heart is divided; now shall they be found faulty: he shall break down their altars, he shall spoil their images.
3	참으로 이제 그들이 말할 것입니다. “임금이 우리한테는 없다. 우리가 여호와를 두려워하지 않았기 때문이다. 그런데 임금인들 우리한테 무엇을 해 주겠는가?”	For now they shall say, We have no king, because we feared not the Lord; what then should a king do to us?
4	그들은 말만 했습니다. 어기면 저주받겠다고 거짓말하면서 언약을 맺었습니다. 그래서 법이라는 것이 밭고랑의 독초처럼 생겨납니다.	They have spoken words, swearing falsely in making a covenant: thus judgment springeth up as hemlock in the furrows of the field.
5	베다웬의 송아지 우상 때문에 사마리아에 사는 사람들이 무서워할 것입니다. 송아지의 백성은 송아지 때문에 슬퍼할 것입니다. 우상을 섬기는 제사장들은 송아지 때문에 기뻐 소리쳐 왔지만, 이제는 송아지의 영광 때문에 슬퍼하며 소리칠 것입니다. 그 영광이 송아지로부터 떠나 사로잡혀 갔기 때문입니다.	The inhabitants of Samaria shall fear because of the calves of Beth–aven: for the people thereof shall mourn over it, and the priests thereof that rejoiced on it, for the glory thereof, because it is departed from it.
6	또한 송아지도 아시리아로 옮겨져, 대왕에게 예물이 될 것입니다. 에브라임은 창피당할 것이고, 이스라엘은 자신의 계략을 창피해할 것입니다.	It shall be also carried unto Assyria for a present to king Jareb: Ephraim shall receive shame, and Israel shall be ashamed of his own counsel.
7	사마리아와 그 임금은 망할 것입니다. 물 위의 부러진 가지 같을 것입니다.	As for Samaria, her king is cut off as the foam upon the water.
8	아웬의 높은곳(산당)들이 황폐하게 될 것입니다. 거기서 이스라엘이 죄를 저질렀습니다. 가시덤불과 엉겅퀴가 그 제단들 위로 올라올 것입니다. 그들이 산들에게 “우리를 덮어 다오!” 하고 말할 것입니다. 언덕들에게는 “우리 위로 덮쳐 다오!” 하고 말할 것입니다.	The high places also of Aven, the sin of Israel, shall be destroyed: the thorn and the thistle shall come up on their altars; and they shall say to the mountains, Cover us; and to the hills, Fall on us.
9	(하나님) “기브아 시절부터 네가 죄를 지었다, 이스라엘아! 그 자리에 사람들이 서 있었지. 그러니 못된 사람들을 쳐부수는 전쟁이 기브아에서 그들을 따라잡지 않겠느냐?	O Israel, thou hast sinned from the days of Gibeah: there they stood: the battle in Gibeah against the children of iniquity did not overtake them.
10	내가 하고 싶을 때 그들을 징계하겠다. 백성들이 그들을 쳐부수려고 모여들 것이다. 그들의 두 가지 잘못 때문이다.”	It is in my desire that I should chastise them; and the people shall be gathered against them, when they shall bind themselves in their two furrows.
11	이스라엘이 황폐해질 것이다 (하나님) “에브라임은 잘 훈련된 암소로 곡식 밟아 떨기를 좋아했다. 나는 그의 아름다운 목에 멍에를 메웠다. 그러고는 내가 에브라임을 쟁기에 묶을 것이고, 유다는 밭을 갈 것이다. 야곱은 자신을 위해 흙덩이를 잘게 부술 것이다.	And Ephraim is as an heifer that is taught, and loveth to tread out the corn; but I passed over upon her fair neck: I will make Ephraim to ride; Judah shall plow, and Jacob shall break his clods.
12	너희는 스스로 공의를 위해 씨앗을 뿌리고, 한결같은 사랑에 걸맞게 거두어라! 개간한 땅을 갈아엎어라! 여호와를 찾을 때다. 마침내 여호와가 와서 공의를 너희에게 내려 줄 것이다.	Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.
13	너희는 불의라는 땅을 갈고, 못된 것이라는 열매를 거두고, 거짓이라는 열매를 먹었다. 네가 너 자신의 생활 방식과 많은 용사들을 의지했기 때문이다.	Ye have plowed wickedness, ye have reaped iniquity; ye have eaten the fruit of lies: because thou didst trust in thy way, in the multitude of thy mighty men.
14	너의 백성 가운데 떠들썩한 소리가 나고, 너의 모든 요새들이 황폐해질 것이다. 살만이 전쟁의 날에 베다르벨을 황폐하게 한 것과 마찬가지다. 어머니가 자식들과 함께 산산조각 났다.	Therefore shall a tumult arise among thy people, and all thy fortresses shall be spoiled, as Shalman spoiled Beth–arbel in the day of battle: the mother was dashed in pieces upon her children.
15	너희가 악하고 악했기 때문에 베델이 너희에게 이렇게 했다. 새벽에 이스라엘 임금이 완전히 망할 것이다.”	So shall Beth–el do unto you because of your great wickedness: in a morning shall the king of Israel utterly be cut off.
