1	에티오피아에 대한 말씀 (예언자) 아, 날개 소리 나는 땅, 에티오피아의 강들 건너편 땅!	Woe to the land shadowing with wings, which is beyond the rivers of Ethiopia:
2	파피루스 조각배를 물 위에 띄워 바닷길로 사절단을 보내며 이렇게 말하는 땅! “가세요, 날쌘 심부름꾼들인 여러분, 키 크고 살갗이 매끄러운 민족에게로! 사방에서 두려워하는 백성, 적을 짓밟는 강한 민족에게로! 강들이 그 땅에 흘러넘치는 나라로!”	That sendeth ambassadors by the sea, even in vessels of bulrushes upon the waters, saying, Go, ye swift messengers, to a nation scattered and peeled, to a people terrible from their beginning hitherto; a nation meted out and trodden down, whose land the rivers have spoiled!
3	세상에 사는 모든 사람들이여, 땅에 머무는 사람들이여! 여러 산 위에 깃발이 오르면 여러분이 보게 될 것입니다. 나팔 소리가 나면 듣게 될 것입니다.	All ye inhabitants of the world, and dwellers on the earth, see ye, when he lifteth up an ensign on the mountains; and when he bloweth a trumpet, hear ye.
4	여호와께서 나에게 이렇게 말씀하셨기 때문입니다. (하나님) “내가 나 있는 곳에서 가만히 살펴보겠다, 밝은 빛의 뜨거운 열기처럼, 추수철 열기 속의 이슬 구름처럼.”	For so the Lord said unto me, I will take my rest, and I will consider in my dwelling place like a clear heat upon herbs, and like a cloud of dew in the heat of harvest.
5	(예언자) 추수에 앞서 꽃이 다 필 것입니다. 꽃대에서 풋열매가 맺혀 익어 갈 것입니다. 그러면 여호와께서 열매 달린 가지들을 낫으로 베어 내고, 덩굴들을 걷어 내어 잘라 버리실 것입니다.	For afore the harvest, when the bud is perfect, and the sour grape is ripening in the flower, he shall both cut off the sprigs with pruning hooks, and take away and cut down the branches.
6	그것들은 모조리 내버려져서 산 위의 사나운 새들과 땅의 짐승들의 차지가 될 것입니다. 사나운 새들이 그것으로 여름을 나고, 땅의 짐승마다 그것으로 겨울을 날 것입니다.	They shall be left together unto the fowls of the mountains, and to the beasts of the earth: and the fowls shall summer upon them, and all the beasts of the earth shall winter upon them.
7	그때 전능하신 여호와께 예물을 갖다 바칠 사람들은 키 크고 살갗이 매끄러운 백성, 사방에서 두려워하는 백성입니다. 적을 짓밟는 강한 민족, 강들이 그 땅에 흘러넘치는 나라 사람들입니다. 그들이 전능하신 여호와의 이름이 있는 곳인 시온산으로 올 것입니다.	In that time shall the present be brought unto the Lord of hosts of a people scattered and peeled, and from a people terrible from their beginning hitherto; a nation meted out and trodden under foot, whose land the rivers have spoiled, to the place of the name of the Lord of hosts, the mount Zion.
