1	자기소개와 인사 유다입니다. 예수 그리스도께서 부리시는 종이며, 야고보의 형제입니다. 하나님 아버지 안에서 사랑받아 온 분들, 예수 그리스도를 위해 하나님이 지켜 주신, 부름받은 여러분에게 이 편지를 보냅니다.	Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called:
2	자비와 평화와 사랑이 여러분에게 더해지기를 빕니다! ()	Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied.
3	잘못 이끄는 사람들을 조심하라 사랑하는 여러분! 우리가 공동으로 받은 구원에 대해서 내가 여러분에게 편지를 써 보내려고 몹시 애를 쓰고 있었습니다. 그러던 중에 이제는 여러분에게 편지를 써 보내는 것이 꼭 필요하다고 생각하게 되었습니다. 성도들에게 단번에 주신 그 믿음을 위해 힘써 싸우라고 여러분을 격려하는 편지를 말입니다.	Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
4	몇몇 사람들이 몰래 숨어 들어왔기 때문입니다. 그들이 심판에 이르게 될 것은 이미 오래전에 기록되었습니다. 그들은 불경건한 자들입니다. 우리 하나님의 은혜를 방종거리로 바꾸어 놓았고, 우리의 유일한 주인이시요, 주님이신 예수 그리스도를 부인하는 자들입니다.	For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
5	여러분이 단번에 다 알고 있는 내용이지만, 내가 여러분의 기억을 되살려 드리고 싶은 것이 있습니다. 주님께서 이집트 땅에서 백성을 구원해 내셨지만, 나중에는 믿지 않은 사람들을 없애 버리셨습니다.	I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.
6	또 자기들의 통치 영역을 지키지 않고 자신의 거처를 떠나 버린 천사들을 큰 날에 심판하시려고 영원한 사슬로 묶어 컴컴한 지하 세계에 가두어 지키셨습니다.	And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
7	또 소돔과 고모라와 그 둘레의 도시들이 이들과 같은 방식으로 음란한 짓거리에 빠져서 다른 몸뚱이를 뒤쫓아 갔습니다. 그 도시들은 영원한 불 심판의 본보기로 여러분 앞에 놓여 있습니다.	Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
8	그런데 마찬가지로, 이 사람들도 헛꿈을 꾸면서 몸뚱이를 더럽히고, 주님의 권위를 거부하고, 영광스러운 존재들을 모독하고 있습니다.	Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.
9	한편, 우두머리 천사 미카엘은 모세의 시신을 두고 마귀와 다투며 논쟁했을 때에, 모독하는 판결을 감히 내놓지 않았습니다. 다만 “주님이 너를 꾸짖으시기를!” 하고 말했습니다.	Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.
10	그러나 이 사람들은 닥치는 대로 알지도 못하면서 모독하고 있습니다. 그리고 생각 없는 짐승처럼 본능으로만 알고 있는 것들, 바로 이것들 때문에 썩어 가고 있습니다.	But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.
11	그들은 끝장입니다. 그들은 가인의 길로 갔으며, 보상을 노린 발람의 잘못된 길에 빠져들었으며, 고라흐처럼 대들었다가 망해 버렸기 때문입니다.	Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.
12	이 사람들은 여러분이 사랑으로 음식을 나눌 때에 암초들입니다. 두려워하지 않고 함께 잔치를 즐기며, 자기들만 먹이는 목자들입니다. 그들은 바람에 떠밀려 다니는, 비를 내리지 못하는 구름입니다. 열매 맺지 못하고 두 번 죽어서 뿌리가 뽑힌 가을 나무입니다.	These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;
13	자기들의 부끄러운 일들을 거품처럼 내뿜어 대는 바다의 사나운 파도입니다. 헤매는 별들입니다. 그들을 위해 흑암의 컴컴한 지하 세계가 영원히 보존되고 있습니다.	Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.
14	또한 이 사람들을 두고 아담의 7대손 에녹이 예언했습니다. 이렇게 말했습니다. “보라, 주님이 자신의 수많은 거룩한 이들을 이끌고 오셨다.	And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,
15	그것은 모든 사람을 심판하셔서, 사람마다 책임을 물으시기 위해서다. 그들이 하나님을 제쳐 놓고 저지른 온갖 불경건한 짓들에 대해서, 또 불경건한 죄인들이 주님께 거슬러 지껄인 모든 험한 말들에 대해서 말이다.”	To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
16	이들은 투덜대는 사람들입니다. 운명 탓을 하며 자기 욕망대로 살아가는 사람들입니다. 그들의 입은 잘난 체 떠벌리다가도, 이득을 챙기기 위해서 아부를 합니다.	These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men’s persons in admiration because of advantage.
17	성도들을 향한 권유 사랑하는 여러분, 여러분은 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 사도들이 전에 미리 말해 준 말들을 기억하십시오.	But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;
18	그들이 여러분에게 이렇게 말했습니다. “마지막 때에 여러분을 빈정거리는 사람들이 있을 겁니다. 그들은 자기들의 불경건한 욕망대로 살아갈 겁니다.”	How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
19	이들은 서로 갈라놓는 사람들이며, 영의 사람이 아닙니다. 성령님 없이 살아가는 사람들입니다.	These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.
20	사랑하는 여러분, 여러분은 여러분의 더없이 거룩한 믿음 위에 스스로를 세우십시오. 성령님 안에서 기도하십시오.	But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
21	하나님의 사랑 안에서 스스로를 지키십시오. 영원한 생명으로 이끄시는 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 한결같은 사랑을 바라면서 기다리십시오.	Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
22	의심하는 사람들에게는 한결같은 사랑을 보여 주십시오.	And of some have compassion, making a difference:
23	또 어떤 사람들은 여러분이 불에서 확 끌어내어 구원해 주십시오. 또 어떤 사람들에게는 두려움 가운데 한결같은 사랑을 보여 주십시오. 몸뚱이로부터 더럽혀진 그들의 통옷조차 미워하십시오.	And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
24	편지를 끝맺으면서 하는 찬양 여러분을 넘어지지 않도록 보호해 주실 능력이 있는 분이시요, 기뻐 뛰며 흠잡힐 데 없는 모습으로 당신의 영광 앞에 나서게 하실 능력이 있으신 분,	Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
25	곧 유일하신 하나님이시요, 우리의 구원자이신 하나님께 예수 그리스도 우리 주님을 통해서 영광, 위엄, 권능 그리고 권력이 영원 전부터 그리고 이제와 영원까지 있기를 빕니다! 아멘!	To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.
