1	어린양이 일곱 번째 봉인을 여시다 또 그 어린양이 일곱 번째 봉인을 여셨을 때, 하늘이 반 시간쯤 아주 조용해졌습니다.	And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.
2	또 나는 그 일곱 천사를 보았는데, 그들은 하나님 앞에 서 있었습니다. 그들에게는 나팔 일곱 개가 주어졌습니다.	And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets.
3	그때 다른 천사 하나가 와서 제단 곁에 자리해 섰는데, 금으로 만든 향로를 가지고 있었습니다. 그에게는 향이 많이 주어졌는데, 모든 성도들의 기도와 함께 임금자리 앞에 있는 금제단 위에 바쳐야 하는 것이었습니다.	And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.
4	향 연기가 성도들의 기도와 함께 천사의 손으로부터 하나님 앞으로 올라갔습니다.	And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel’s hand.
5	그 천사가 그 향로를 받아서 그것을 제단의 불로 채웠습니다. 그러고는 땅으로 던졌습니다. 그러자 천둥들과 소리들과 번개들과 지진이 생겨났습니다.	And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.
6	일곱 나팔 가운데 여섯 나팔이 울리다 그때에 일곱 개의 나팔을 가진 그 일곱 천사가 나팔을 울리려고 채비를 갖추었습니다.	And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.
7	첫 번째 천사가 나팔을 울렸습니다. 그러자 우박과 불이 생겨나서 피와 섞여 땅으로 던져졌습니다. 그랬더니 땅 3분의 1이 바싹 타 버렸습니다. 나무 3분의 1도 바싹 타 버렸습니다. 푸른 풀도 모조리 바싹 타 버렸습니다.	The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.
8	또 두 번째 천사가 나팔을 울렸습니다. 그러자 불에 타오르는 큰 산과 같은 것이 바다에 던져졌습니다. 그랬더니 바다 3분의 1이 피가 되었습니다.	And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood;
9	또 바다에서 숨 쉬고 사는 피조물 3분의 1도 죽었습니다. 배들 3분의 1도 완전히 망가졌습니다.	And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.
10	또 세 번째 천사가 나팔을 울렸습니다. 그러자 하늘에서 횃불처럼 타오르는 큰 별이 떨어졌습니다. 강들 3분의 1과 물이 솟는 샘들 위로 떨어졌습니다.	And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;
11	그 별의 이름은 ‘쑥’이라고 합니다. 물들 3분의 1이 쑥이 되었습니다. 사람들 가운데 많은 수가 그 물을 마시고 죽었습니다. 물들이 쓰디쓰게 되었기 때문입니다.	And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.
12	또 네 번째 천사가 나팔을 울렸습니다. 그러자 해 3분의 1과 달 3분의 1과 별들 3분의 1이 타격을 입어서 그것들의 3분의 1이 어두워졌습니다. 낮의 3분의 1이 빛을 잃게 되었고, 밤도 마찬가지였습니다.	And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.
13	또 나는 보았고 들었습니다. 독수리 한 마리가 하늘 높이 날면서 큰 소리로 말했습니다. “재난이다, 재난이다, 재난이다, 땅 위에 자리 잡고 사는 사람들은! 머지않아 나팔을 울릴 세 천사의 나팔 소리가 남아 있기 때문이다.”	And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!
