1	1,000년 동안 다스림 또 나는 보았습니다. 천사가 하늘에서 내려오고 있었습니다. 그의 손에는 밑바닥 없는 구덩이(무저갱)의 열쇠와 큰 사슬이 있었습니다.	And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
2	그 천사가 그 용, 곧 옛날 뱀을 붙잡았습니다. 그 용은 마귀요, 사탄입니다. 천사가 그것을 1,000년 동안 묶어 두었습니다.	And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
3	그 용을 밑바닥 없는 구덩이(무저갱)에 던져 넣고 열쇠로 잠갔습니다. 그리고 그 위에 봉인을 했습니다. 그 1,000년이 다 끝날 때까지 민족들을 더는 속여 헤매지 못하도록 하려는 것이었습니다. 이런 일이 있고 나서 그 용은 잠시 동안 풀려나도록 되어 있습니다.	And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
4	또 나는 보았습니다. 임금자리들이 있었습니다. 거기에는 사람들이 앉아 있었습니다. 그들은 심판할 권한을 받은 사람들이었습니다. 또 도끼로 목 베인 사람들의 영혼을 보았습니다. 그들이 목 베인 것은 예수님을 증언한 일과 또 하나님의 말씀 때문이었습니다. 그들은 그 짐승에게도 그 형상에도 엎드려 절하지 않고, 이마와 손에 그 표를 새겨 넣지도 않은 사람들입니다. 그들이 살아나서 그리스도와 함께 1,000년 동안 임금으로 다스렸습니다.	And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5	죽은 사람들 가운데 나머지 사람들은 그 1,000년이 다 끝날 때까지 살아나지 못했습니다. 이것이 첫 번째 부활입니다.	But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
6	복 있고 거룩합니다, 첫 번째 부활에 참여할 몫이 있는 사람은! 이들에 대해서는 두 번째 죽음이 권한이 없습니다. 그들은 하나님과 그리스도의 제사장이 되어서 그분과 더불어 그 1,000년 동안 임금으로 다스릴 것입니다.	Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
7	사탄의 최후 또 그 1,000년이 다 끝나게 될 때 사탄이 그 감옥에서 풀려날 것입니다.	And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
8	사탄이 나와서 땅의 네 모퉁이에 있는 민족들, 곧 곡과 마곡을 속여 헤매게 할 것입니다. 그들을 전쟁으로 모아들일 것입니다. 그들의 수는 바다의 모래와 같을 것입니다.	And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
9	그들은 땅의 널찍한 곳 위로 올라가서 성도들의 진영과 사랑받아 왔던 도시를 둘러쌌습니다. 그리고 불이 하늘에서 내려와 그들을 완전히 먹어 버렸습니다.	And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
10	또 마귀, 곧 그들을 속여 헤매게 하는 자가 불과 유황 못에 던져졌습니다. 그곳에는 그 짐승과 그 거짓 예언자도 던져져 있었습니다. 거기서 그들은 낮이든 밤이든 영원 영원히 고통에 시달릴 것입니다.	And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
11	크고 흰 임금자리 앞에서 이루어진 심판 또 나는 보았습니다. 크고 흰 임금자리와 거기에 앉아 계신 분이 있었습니다. 그분 앞으로부터 땅과 하늘이 달아났습니다. 그것들이 있던 자리는 보이지 않았습니다.	And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12	또 나는 보았는데 죽은 사람들이 있었습니다. 대단한 사람들도 있고 보잘것없는 사람들도 있는데, 그들은 임금자리 앞에 서 있었습니다. 그리고 책들이 펼쳐졌습니다. 다른 책도 펼쳐졌는데, 생명책이었습니다. 그 죽은 사람들은 그 책들에 적힌 것에 기초해서 그들이 한 일에 따라 심판을 받았습니다.	And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13	또 바다가 그 속에 있는 죽은 사람들을 내주었습니다. 죽음과 하데스도 그 가운데 있는 죽은 사람들을 내주었습니다. 그들은 저마다 자기들이 한 일에 따라 심판을 받았습니다.	And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14	그러고 나서 죽음과 하데스도 불 못에 던져졌습니다. 이것이 두 번째 죽음, 곧 불 못입니다.	And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15	누구든 생명책에 적혀 있는 것으로 밝혀지지 않으면 불 못에 던져졌습니다.	And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
