절	새한글성경 (2024)	King James Version
1	성전 문에 서서 외쳐라 여호와께로부터 예레미야에게 내려온 말씀.	The word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying,
2	(하나님) “너는 여호와의 집 문에 서서 거기서 이 말을 외쳐 말해라. (예언자) ‘여호와의 말씀을 들으세요, 여호와께 예배하러 이 여러 문으로 들어오는 모든 유다 사람들이여!	Stand in the gate of the Lord’s house, and proclaim there this word, and say, Hear the word of the Lord, all ye of Judah, that enter in at these gates to worship the Lord.
3	전능하신 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님이 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. (하나님) 「너희의 생활 방식과 행동을 개선해라. 그러면 내가 너희를 이곳에 살게 해 주겠다.	Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place.
4	너희는 믿지 마라, 『이 건물이 여호와의 성전, 여호와의 성전, 여호와의 성전이다.』 하는 거짓말을!	Trust ye not in lying words, saying, The temple of the Lord, The temple of the Lord, The temple of the Lord, are these.
5	너희가 생활 방식과 행동을 정말 개선하고, 이웃끼리 정말 정의를 이룬다고 하자.	For if ye throughly amend your ways and your doings; if ye throughly execute judgment between a man and his neighbour;
6	이주민, 부모 없는 아이와 남편 여읜 여자를 너희가 억누르지 않고, 죄 없는 사람의 피를 이곳에서 쏟지 않는다고 하자. 다른 신들을 뒤따라가서 스스로를 해치지 않는다고 하자.	If ye oppress not the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and shed not innocent blood in this place, neither walk after other gods to your hurt:
7	그러면 내가 너희를 이곳에서 곧 내가 너희 조상들에게 준 땅에서 살게 해 주겠다, 영원에서 영원에 이르도록.	Then will I cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers, for ever and ever.
8	아, 너희가 믿고 있구나, 쓸모없는 거짓말을!	Behold, ye trust in lying words, that cannot profit.
9	너희는 도둑질한다. 사람을 죽이고 배우자 아닌 사람과 잠자리하고, 거짓으로 맹세한다. 또 바알에게 향을 피워 바친다. 너희가 알지 못하는 신들을 뒤따라가기도 한다.	Will ye steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense unto Baal, and walk after other gods whom ye know not;
10	그러고서도 사람들이 내 이름을 붙여 부르는 이 집에 들어와 나의 앞에 선다. 그러고는 너희가 『우리는 구원받았습니다.』라고 말한다! 이런 온갖 역겨운 짓을 하려는 것이다.	And come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, We are delivered to do all these abominations?
11	사람들이 내 이름을 붙여 부르는 이 집이 강도의 소굴이 되어 버렸느냐, 너희 눈에는? 바로 나도, 아, 그것을 똑똑히 보았다. ― 여호와의 말씀입니다. ―	Is this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, even I have seen it, saith the Lord.
12	실로에 내가 있던 곳으로 가라! 이전에 내가 내 이름을 두었던 곳이다. 그러고는 살펴보아라, 나의 백성 이스라엘이 저지른 악한 짓 때문에 내가 그곳을 어떻게 했는지!	But go ye now unto my place which was in Shiloh, where I set my name at the first, and see what I did to it for the wickedness of my people Israel.
13	이제 너희가 이런 짓들을 하기 때문에 ― 여호와의 말씀입니다. ― 내가 너희에게 거듭거듭 말했다. 그런데도 너희는 듣지 않았다. 내가 너희를 불렀지만 너희는 대답하지 않았다.	And now, because ye have done all these works, saith the Lord, and I spake unto you, rising up early and speaking, but ye heard not; and I called you, but ye answered not;
14	그래서 나의 집에도 내가 실로에 한 것처럼 하겠다. 사람들이 나의 이름을 붙여 부르는 집이자 너희가 의지하는 집이다. 내가 너희와 너희 조상들에게 준 이곳에도 그렇게 하겠다.	Therefore will I do unto this house, which is called by my name, wherein ye trust, and unto the place which I gave to you and to your fathers, as I have done to Shiloh.
15	내가 너희를 나의 앞에서 내치겠다, 너희의 형제들, 곧 에브라임 후손을 다 내쳤던 것처럼!」’”	And I will cast you out of my sight, as I have cast out all your brethren, even the whole seed of Ephraim.
16	탄원 기도를 올려도 들으시지 않을 것이다 (하나님) “너는, 이 백성을 위해 기도하지 마라! 그들을 위한 탄원 기도는 올리지 마라! 나에게 끈질기게 부탁하지 마라. 내가 너의 말을 듣지 않을 것이기 때문이다.	Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to me: for I will not hear thee.
17	네가 보고 있지 않느냐, 무슨 짓을 그들이 유다의 여러 도시에서 저지르고 있는지? 또 예루살렘 여러 거리에서 그러고 있는지?	Seest thou not what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?
18	자식들은 나무를 주워 모으고, 아버지들은 불을 피운다. 여자들은 밀가루 반죽을 한다. 빵을 만들어 하늘 여왕에게 바치려는 것이다. 또 그들은 다른 신들에게 제사 술을 부어 바친다. 이런 식으로 그들이 나를 노엽게 했다.	The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger.
19	그들이 나를 노엽게 하는 것이냐? ― 여호와의 말씀입니다. ― 스스로를 노엽게 한 것이 아니냐? 자신들의 얼굴이 창피당할 것이 아니냐?”	Do they provoke me to anger? saith the Lord: do they not provoke themselves to the confusion of their own faces?
20	(예언자) 이러므로 주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. (하나님) “보라, 나의 분노와 노여움을 이곳에 퍼붓겠다. 사람과 짐승과 들판의 나무와 땅의 열매 위에 퍼붓겠다. 노여움이 타올라 끌 수 없을 것이다.”	Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Behold, mine anger and my fury shall be poured out upon this place, upon man, and upon beast, and upon the trees of the field, and upon the fruit of the ground; and it shall burn, and shall not be quenched.
21	(예언자) 전능하신 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님이 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. (하나님) “너희의 다태우는제물(번제물)을 희생제물에 더하여라. 그러고는 그 고기를 먹어라.	Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Put your burnt offerings unto your sacrifices, and eat flesh.
22	내가 너희 조상들을 이집트 땅에서 이끌어 내던 날에는 그들에게 말한 적도 명령한 적도 없다, 다태우는제물(번제물)과 희생제물을 두고서!	For I spake not unto your fathers, nor commanded them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices:
23	이런 말로 그들에게 내가 명령했다. ‘너희는 들어라, 내 목소리를! 그러면 내가 너희에게 하나님이 되고 너희는 나에게 백성이 될 것이다. 너희는 내가 너희에게 명령하는 길이면 어디든 그리로 가도록 해라. 그러면 너희가 잘될 것이다.’	But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.
24	그런데 그들은 듣지 않았고, 귀를 기울이지 않았다. 자신들의 나쁜 마음의 계획과 고집대로 살아갔다. 나에게 등을 보이고 얼굴은 보이지 않았다.	But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear, but walked in the counsels and in the imagination of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward.
25	너희 조상들이 이집트 땅에서 나오던 날부터 오늘에 이르기까지 나는 너희에게 나의 모든 종 예언자들을 거듭거듭 보냈다.	Since the day that your fathers came forth out of the land of Egypt unto this day I have even sent unto you all my servants the prophets, daily rising up early and sending them:
26	그런데 그들은 나의 말을 듣지 않았다. 귀 기울이지 않았다. 목을 꼿꼿이 하여 조상들보다 더 못되게 굴었다.	Yet they hearkened not unto me, nor inclined their ear, but hardened their neck: they did worse than their fathers.
27	그러므로 네가 이 모든 말을 그들에게 해 주어도, 그들이 너의 말을 듣지 않을 것이다. 네가 그들에게 외쳐도 그들이 대답하지 않을 것이다.	Therefore thou shalt speak all these words unto them; but they will not hearken to thee: thou shalt also call unto them; but they will not answer thee.
28	너는 그들에게 말해 주어라, 그들은 여호와 그들의 하나님의 목소리를 듣지도 않고 징계를 받아들이지도 않는 민족이라고. 또 진실이 사라져 그들의 입에서 없어져 버렸다고.”	But thou shalt say unto them, This is a nation that obeyeth not the voice of the Lord their God, nor receiveth correction: truth is perished, and is cut off from their mouth.
29	벤힌놈 골짜기가 쑥대밭이 될 것이다 (예언자) 그대의 머리카락을 잘라 던져 버리세요. 민둥산에서 애도의 노래를 부르세요. 여호와께서 버리셨기 때문입니다. 자신을 노엽게 한 세대를 저버리셨기 때문입니다.	Cut off thine hair, O Jerusalem, and cast it away, and take up a lamentation on high places; for the Lord hath rejected and forsaken the generation of his wrath.
30	(하나님) “유다 사람들이 내가 보기에 악한 짓을 저질렀구나. ― 여호와의 말씀입니다. ― 사람들이 나의 이름을 붙여 부르는 집 안에, 밉살스러운 우상들을 세워 두었구나. 그 집을 더럽혔구나.	For the children of Judah have done evil in my sight, saith the Lord: they have set their abominations in the house which is called by my name, to pollute it.
31	그들이 벤힌놈 골짜기에 있는 도벳에 높은곳(산당)들을 만들어 놓고 거기서 자신의 아들들과 딸들을 불살랐다. 그것은 내가 명령하지도 않았고, 내 마음에 떠오르지도 않았던 일이다.	And they have built the high places of Tophet, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my heart.
32	이러므로, 보라, 때가 다가온다. ― 여호와의 말씀입니다. ― 사람들이 더는 도벳이나 벤힌놈 골짜기라 하지 않고, 도살 골짜기라 할 것이다. 사람들이 또 무덤을 도벳에 만들 것이다. 장소가 없을 것이기 때문이다.	Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that it shall no more be called Tophet, nor the valley of the son of Hinnom, but the valley of slaughter: for they shall bury in Tophet, till there be no place.
33	이 백성의 시체가 하늘의 새와 땅의 짐승에게 먹잇감이 될 것이다. 그렇지만 그것들을 쫓아내 줄 사람이 없을 것이다.	And the carcases of this people shall be meat for the fowls of the heaven, and for the beasts of the earth; and none shall fray them away.
34	내가 유다 여러 도시와 예루살렘 여러 거리에서 즐거운 소리와 기쁜 소리, 신랑의 소리와 신부의 소리가 사라지게 할 것이다. 그 땅이 쑥대밭이 될 것이기 때문이다.”	Then will I cause to cease from the cities of Judah, and from the streets of Jerusalem, the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride: for the land shall be desolate.
