절	새한글성경 (2024)	King James Version
1	필리스티아에 대한 말씀 여호와의 말씀으로 필리스티아와 관련하여 예레미야 예언자에게 내려온 것. 파라오가 가자를 쳐부수기 전이었다.	The word of the Lord that came to Jeremiah the prophet against the Philistines, before that Pharaoh smote Gaza.
2	(예언자) 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. (하나님) “보라, 물이 북쪽에서 올라와 흘러넘치는 강이 될 것이다. 땅과 그 안에 가득 찬 것에 흘러넘칠 것이다. 도시와 그 안에 사는 사람들에게 흘러넘칠 것이다. 그래서 사람들이 소리치고 땅에 사는 사람마다 울부짖을 것이다.	Thus saith the Lord; Behold, waters rise up out of the north, and shall be an overflowing flood, and shall overflow the land, and all that is therein; the city, and them that dwell therein: then the men shall cry, and all the inhabitants of the land shall howl.
3	적의 힘센 말들의 말발굽 소리가 들린다. 전투수레가 땅을 울리는 소리, 그 바퀴의 시끄러운 소리가 들린다. 그래서 아버지들이 자식들을 돌아보지 못할 것이다. 손에 맥이 풀리기 때문이다.	At the noise of the stamping of the hoofs of his strong horses, at the rushing of his chariots, and at the rumbling of his wheels, the fathers shall not look back to their children for feebleness of hands;
4	다가오는 날 때문이다. 모든 필리스티아 사람을 멸망시킬 날이다. 살아남아서 티레와 시돈에게 도움이 되려는 사람도 누구든 끊어 버릴 날이다.” (예언자) 여호와께서 필리스티아 사람들을 멸망시키실 것이기 때문입니다. 크레타섬에 남은 사람들을 멸망시키실 것이기 때문입니다.	Because of the day that cometh to spoil all the Philistines, and to cut off from Tyrus and Zidon every helper that remaineth: for the Lord will spoil the Philistines, the remnant of the country of Caphtor.
5	사람들이 맨머리로 슬퍼하는 일이 가자에 생길 것입니다. 아스글론은 침묵에 빠질 것입니다. 아, 그들의 골짜기에 남아 있는 여러분! 언제까지 스스로 몸에 생채기를 낼 것인가요?	Baldness is come upon Gaza; Ashkelon is cut off with the remnant of their valley: how long wilt thou cut thyself?
6	“아, 여호와의 칼아! 언제 멈추려느냐? 칼집에 들어가라! 쉬면서 침묵해라!” 하고 여러분이 말합니다.	O thou sword of the Lord, how long will it be ere thou be quiet? put up thyself into thy scabbard, rest, and be still.
7	그렇지만 어떻게 칼이 멈추겠습니까, 여호와께서 칼에게 명령하셨는데요? 아스글론으로, 또 바닷가로, 여호와께서 칼에게 그리로 가라고 하셨습니다.	How can it be quiet, seeing the Lord hath given it a charge against Ashkelon, and against the sea shore? there hath he appointed it.
