1	히스기야의 개혁 이 모든 일을 마치고 거기에 있던 이스라엘 사람들이 모두 나와 유다의 도시들로 갔다. 기둥을 부수고 아세라 말뚝을 깨뜨렸다. 높은곳(산당)들과 제단들을 허물었다. 마침내 그것들을 온 유다와 베냐민과 에브라임과 므낫세에서 끝장내 버렸다. 그러고 나서 이스라엘 사람들은 모두 저마다 자기 땅으로, 자기 도시로 돌아갔다.	Now when all this was finished, all Israel that were present went out to the cities of Judah, and brake the images in pieces, and cut down the groves, and threw down the high places and the altars out of all Judah and Benjamin, in Ephraim also and Manasseh, until they had utterly destroyed them all. Then all the children of Israel returned, every man to his possession, into their own cities.
2	히스기야는 제사장들과 레위 사람들의 모둠을 정하여 모둠에 따라 세웠다. 제사장들과 레위 사람들이 저마다 맡은 일에 따라서였다. 그것은 다태우는제물(번제물), 평화제물(화목제물), 섬기는 일, 감사 찬양하는 일, 여호와의 진영 문에서 찬양하는 일이었다.	And Hezekiah appointed the courses of the priests and the Levites after their courses, every man according to his service, the priests and Levites for burnt offerings and for peace offerings, to minister, and to give thanks, and to praise in the gates of the tents of the Lord.
3	임금은 자기가 가진 재물 가운데서 일부를 다태우는제물(번제물)로 드려야 했다. 그것은 아침과 저녁에 드릴 다태우는제물(번제물), 안식일과 초하룻날과 명절날에 쓸 다태우는제물(번제물)이었다. 여호와의 율법에 적힌 대로였다.	He appointed also the king’s portion of his substance for the burnt offerings, to wit, for the morning and evening burnt offerings, and the burnt offerings for the sabbaths, and for the new moons, and for the set feasts, as it is written in the law of the Lord.
4	그는 예루살렘에 사는 백성에게 말하여 제사장들과 레위 사람들의 몫을 주라고 했다. 그들이 여호와의 율법에 힘쓰게 하려는 것이었다.	Moreover he commanded the people that dwelt in Jerusalem to give the portion of the priests and the Levites, that they might be encouraged in the law of the Lord.
5	이 말이 퍼지자 이스라엘 사람들이 곡식 첫 열매, 포도주, 기름, 꿀, 밭에서 거둔 모든 것을 넉넉히 냈다. 그리고 모든 것의 십일조를 넉넉히 가져왔다.	And as soon as the commandment came abroad, the children of Israel brought in abundance the firstfruits of corn, wine, and oil, and honey, and of all the increase of the field; and the tithe of all things brought they in abundantly.
6	유다의 여러 도시에 사는 이스라엘 사람들과 유다 사람들도 소와 양의 십일조를 가져왔다. 또한 여호와 그들의 하나님께 따로 떼어 드릴 거룩한 것의 십일조를 가져왔다. 그래서 더미더미로 쌓았다.	And concerning the children of Israel and Judah, that dwelt in the cities of Judah, they also brought in the tithe of oxen and sheep, and the tithe of holy things which were consecrated unto the Lord their God, and laid them by heaps.
7	셋째 달에 더미들을 쌓아 올리기 시작했고, 일곱째 달에 끝났다.	In the third month they began to lay the foundation of the heaps, and finished them in the seventh month.
8	히스기야와 관리들이 와서 그 더미들을 보고는 여호와를 찬양하고 그의 백성 이스라엘을 위해 복을 빌었다.	And when Hezekiah and the princes came and saw the heaps, they blessed the Lord, and his people Israel.
9	히스기야가 제사장들과 레위 사람들에게 그 더미들에 관해 물었다.	Then Hezekiah questioned with the priests and the Levites concerning the heaps.
10	사독 집안인 우두머리 제사장 아사랴가 그에게 말했다. “여호와의 집에 예물을 가져오기 시작하면서부터 배불리 먹고 넘치도록 남겼습니다. 여호와께서 그분의 백성에게 복을 내려 주셨기 때문입니다. 그래서 이렇게 많이 남았습니다.”	And Azariah the chief priest of the house of Zadok answered him, and said, Since the people began to bring the offerings into the house of the Lord, we have had enough to eat, and have left plenty: for the Lord hath blessed his people; and that which is left is this great store.
11	히스기야가 여호와의 집에 방을 마련하라고 말하자 그들이 마련했다.	Then Hezekiah commanded to prepare chambers in the house of the Lord; and they prepared them,
12	그들은 예물과 십일조와 거룩한 물건들을 참된 마음으로 들여왔다. 그들 위에는 관리자로 레위 사람 고나냐가 있었고, 그의 형제 시므이가 그다음이었다.	And brought in the offerings and the tithes and the dedicated things faithfully: over which Cononiah the Levite was ruler, and Shimei his brother was the next.
13	한편 여히엘, 아사샤, 나핫, 아사헬, 여리못, 요사밧, 엘리엘, 이스마갸, 마핫, 브나야가 있었다. 그들은 고나냐와 그의 형제 시므이를 돕는 사무관들이었는데, 히스기야 임금과 하나님의 집 관리자 아사랴가 맡긴 일을 했다.	And Jehiel, and Azaziah, and Nahath, and Asahel, and Jerimoth, and Jozabad, and Eliel, and Ismachiah, and Mahath, and Benaiah, were overseers under the hand of Cononiah and Shimei his brother, at the commandment of Hezekiah the king, and Azariah the ruler of the house of God.
14	동쪽 문을 지키는 레위 사람 임나의 아들 고레는 하나님께 드린 자원하는 예물을 맡았다. 또한 여호와께 바치는 예물과 가장 거룩한 물건들을 나누어 주는 일을 맡았다.	And Kore the son of Imnah the Levite, the porter toward the east, was over the freewill offerings of God, to distribute the oblations of the Lord, and the most holy things.
15	그를 돕는 사람들로 에덴, 미냐민, 예수아, 스마야, 아마랴, 스가냐가 있었다. 그들은 제사장들이 사는 여러 도시에서 참된 마음으로 도왔다. 자기 형제들에게 높은 사람 낮은 사람 가리지 않고 모둠에 따라 나누어 주는 일을 했다.	And next him were Eden, and Miniamin, and Jeshua, and Shemaiah, Amariah, and Shecaniah, in the cities of the priests, in their set office, to give to their brethren by courses, as well to the great as to the small:
16	족보에 올라 있는 3세 이상 남자들에게 나누어 주었다. 그들 말고도 나날이 해야 할 일을 하러 여호와의 집에 오는 사람들 모두에게도 나누어 주었다. 맡은 일을 따라 그들이 섬길 수 있도록 모둠별로 나누어 준 것이다.	Beside their genealogy of males, from three years old and upward, even unto every one that entereth into the house of the Lord, his daily portion for their service in their charges according to their courses;
17	여기서 제사장들은 그들의 아버지 쪽 집안에 따라 족보에 올라 있는 사람들이었다. 레위 사람들은 20세 이상으로 맡은 일에 따라 모둠별로 족보에 올라 있는 사람들이었다.	Both to the genealogy of the priests by the house of their fathers, and the Levites from twenty years old and upward, in their charges by their courses;
18	모인 무리 전체 가운데 족보에 오른 그들의 모든 어린아이들과 아내와 아들딸에게도 나누어 주었다. 그들이 참된 마음으로 스스로를 거룩하게 하고 있었기 때문이다.	And to the genealogy of all their little ones, their wives, and their sons, and their daughters, through all the congregation: for in their set office they sanctified themselves in holiness:
19	아론의 자손 가운데에는 도시마다 그 도시에 딸린 목초지 들판에서 지내는 제사장들이 있었다. 이들 가운데 그 이름이 불린 제사장 남자 모두와 족보에 오른 레위 사람 모두에게 몫을 나누어 주었다.	Also of the sons of Aaron the priests, which were in the fields of the suburbs of their cities, in every several city, the men that were expressed by name, to give portions to all the males among the priests, and to all that were reckoned by genealogies among the Levites.
20	히스기야가 온 유다에서 이렇게 한 것이다. 그는 여호와 자기 하나님 앞에서 좋은 일과 올곧은 일과 신실한 일을 했다.	And thus did Hezekiah throughout all Judah, and wrought that which was good and right and truth before the Lord his God.
21	하나님의 집을 섬기고 율법과 명령을 따르면서 그가 시작한 모든 일은 자기 하나님을 찾기 위한 것이었다. 그는 마음을 다해 그 일을 했고 일이 잘되었다.	And in every work that he began in the service of the house of God, and in the law, and in the commandments, to seek his God, he did it with all his heart, and prospered.
