절	새한글성경 (2024)	King James Version
1	솔로몬이 성전 지을 준비를 하다 솔로몬이 여호와의 이름을 위한 집과 자신의 왕국을 위한 집을 짓겠다고 말했다.	And Solomon determined to build an house for the name of the Lord, and an house for his kingdom.
2	그리고 솔로몬이 세어 본 대로는 짐꾼이 70,000명이고 산에서 돌 캐는 사람이 80,000명이었다. 또 그들을 이끌 사람이 3,600명이었다.	And Solomon told out threescore and ten thousand men to bear burdens, and fourscore thousand to hew in the mountain, and three thousand and six hundred to oversee them.
3	솔로몬이 티레 임금 히람에게 사람을 보내어 알렸다. “임금님께서 우리 아버지 다윗에게 하셨던 것처럼 해 주십시오. 삼나무(백향목)를 아버지한테 보내 주셔서, 아버지가 거주하실 왕궁을 짓도록 해 주셨던 것처럼요.	And Solomon sent to Huram the king of Tyre, saying, As thou didst deal with David my father, and didst send him cedars to build him an house to dwell therein, even so deal with me.
4	이제 나는 여호와 나의 하나님의 이름을 위한 집을 지어 그분께 바칠 겁니다. 그분 앞에 향긋한 향품을 살라 연기로 바치고, 거룩한빵(진설병)을 늘 차려 놓을 겁니다. 안식일과 초하룻날과 여호와 우리 하나님의 명절날에는 다태우는제물(번제물)을 아침저녁으로 올려 드릴 겁니다. 이것은 이스라엘에서 끝없이 할 일입니다.	Behold, I build an house to the name of the Lord my God, to dedicate it to him, and to burn before him sweet incense, and for the continual shewbread, and for the burnt offerings morning and evening, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts of the Lord our God. This is an ordinance for ever to Israel.
5	내가 지으려는 집은 큽니다. 우리 하나님이 모든 신들보다 크시니까요.	And the house which I build is great: for great is our God above all gods.
6	그분을 위해 집을 지을 힘이 그 누구에게 있겠습니까? 저 하늘, 심지어 저 하늘의 하늘이라도 그분을 모셔 들일 만큼은 되지 못합니다. 내가 누구라고 그분을 위해 집을 지으려고 하겠습니까? 그분 앞에서 향을 살라 연기로 바치려는 것에 지나지 않습니다.	But who is able to build him an house, seeing the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain him? who am I then, that I should build him an house, save only to burn sacrifice before him?
7	이제 나에게 솜씨꾼을 보내 주십시오. 금과 은과 구리와 쇠와, 붉은 보라색과 진한 빨간색과 푸른 보라색을 다룰 사람을요. 조각도 잘할 줄 아는 사람이어야 합니다. 그는 유다와 예루살렘에서 내 곁에 있는 솜씨꾼들, 곧 나의 아버지 다윗이 세워 두신 사람들과 함께할 것입니다.	Send me now therefore a man cunning to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass, and in iron, and in purple, and crimson, and blue, and that can skill to grave with the cunning men that are with me in Judah and in Jerusalem, whom David my father did provide.
8	목재로 쓸 삼나무(백향목)와 전나무와 알굼나무를 레바논으로부터 나에게 보내 주십시오. 나는, 임금님의 일꾼들이 레바논의 나무를 잘 벨 줄 아는 사람들이라는 것을 알고 있습니다. 여기, 나의 일꾼들이 임금님의 일꾼들과 함께할 것입니다.	Send me also cedar trees, fir trees, and algum trees, out of Lebanon: for I know that thy servants can skill to cut timber in Lebanon; and, behold, my servants shall be with thy servants,
9	그러니 나에게 목재를 많이 마련해 주십시오. 내가 지으려는 집은 크고 경탄할 만할 것이니까요.	Even to prepare me timber in abundance: for the house which I am about to build shall be wonderful great.
10	보십시오, 나무 베는 사람들, 자르는 사람들 곧 임금님의 일꾼들에게는 빻은 밀 4,400킬로리터를 내가 주겠습니다. 보리 4,400킬로리터와 포도주 440킬로리터와 기름 440킬로리터도요.”	And, behold, I will give to thy servants, the hewers that cut timber, twenty thousand measures of beaten wheat, and twenty thousand measures of barley, and twenty thousand baths of wine, and twenty thousand baths of oil.
11	그러자 티레 임금 히람이 글로 대답했다. 솔로몬에게 그 글을 보내온 것이다. “여호와께서 자신의 백성을 사랑하셔서 당신을 그들 위에 임금으로 세워 주셨습니다.”	Then Huram the king of Tyre answered in writing, which he sent to Solomon, Because the Lord hath loved his people, he hath made thee king over them.
12	히람이 또 말했다. “찬양받으실 만합니다, 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님은! 하나님은 하늘과 땅을 만드신 분이십니다. 다윗 임금에게 지혜로운 아들을 주셨습니다. 이해력과 깨달음이 있는 아들입니다. 그가 여호와를 위한 집과 자신의 왕국을 위한 집을 짓게 하셨습니다.	Huram said moreover, Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, that made heaven and earth, who hath given to David the king a wise son, endued with prudence and understanding, that might build an house for the Lord, and an house for his kingdom.
13	이제 솜씨꾼, 깨달음이 있는 사람인 후람을 보내 드립니다. 나에게는 아버지 같은 사람입니다.	And now I have sent a cunning man, endued with understanding, of Huram my father’s,
14	단 사람인 여자의 아들인데, 그의 아버지는 티레 사람입니다. 금과 은과 놋과 쇠와 돌과 나무, 붉은 보라색과 푸른 보라색과 고급 리넨과 진한 빨간색을 다루는 사람입니다. 자신이 맡은 조각은 무엇이든 잘하고, 디자인도 무엇이든 잘할 줄 아는 사람입니다. 임금님의 솜씨꾼들과 나의 주인 다윗 곧 임금님의 아버지의 솜씨꾼들과도 함께할 것입니다.	The son of a woman of the daughters of Dan, and his father was a man of Tyre, skilful to work in gold, and in silver, in brass, in iron, in stone, and in timber, in purple, in blue, and in fine linen, and in crimson; also to grave any manner of graving, and to find out every device which shall be put to him, with thy cunning men, and with the cunning men of my lord David thy father.
15	이제 나의 주 임금님이 말씀하신 밀과 보리, 기름과 포도주는 임금님의 일꾼들에게 보내 주시기 바랍니다.	Now therefore the wheat, and the barley, the oil, and the wine, which my lord hath spoken of, let him send unto his servants:
16	우리는, 임금님의 모든 필요에 따라 레바논에서부터 나무들을 베어 내겠습니다. 그러고는 임금님을 위해 그것들을 뗏목에 실어 욥바 앞바다까지 옮겨 드리겠습니다. 임금님께서는, 그것들을 예루살렘으로 가지고 올라가시면 됩니다.”	And we will cut wood out of Lebanon, as much as thou shalt need: and we will bring it to thee in floats by sea to Joppa; and thou shalt carry it up to Jerusalem.
17	솔로몬은 이스라엘 땅에서 나그네로 사는 모든 사람들을 세어 보았다. 그의 아버지 다윗이 그들을 세어 본 뒤에 한 일이었다. 그래서 이번에 밝혀진 수는 153,600명이었다.	And Solomon numbered all the strangers that were in the land of Israel, after the numbering wherewith David his father had numbered them; and they were found an hundred and fifty thousand and three thousand and six hundred.
18	솔로몬은 그들 가운데서 70,000명을 짐꾼으로 삼았다. 80,000명은 산에서 돌 캐는 사람으로, 3,600명은 그 백성에게 일 시키는 것을 맡은 사람으로 삼았다.	And he set threescore and ten thousand of them to be bearers of burdens, and fourscore thousand to be hewers in the mountain, and three thousand and six hundred overseers to set the people a work.
