1	놀아난 오홀라와 오홀리바 (예언자) 여호와의 말씀이 나에게 내려오는 일이 일어났습니다.	The word of the Lord came again unto me, saying,
2	(하나님) “사람아, 두 여자가 있었다. 한 어머니의 딸들이었다.	Son of man, there were two women, the daughters of one mother:
3	두 자매는 이집트에서 놀아났다. 어릴 때 놀아났다. 거기서 남자들이 두 자매의 가슴을 눌렀고, 거기서 남자들이 그 두 젊은 여자의 젖꼭지를 짓눌렀다.	And they committed whoredoms in Egypt; they committed whoredoms in their youth: there were their breasts pressed, and there they bruised the teats of their virginity.
4	둘의 이름을 두고 말하자면, 오홀라가 언니이고 오홀리바가 동생이었다. 그런데 그들이 나의 사람이 되어 아들들과 딸들을 낳았다. 둘의 이름을 두고 또 말하자면, 사마리아가 오홀라이고 예루살렘이 오홀리바였다.	And the names of them were Aholah the elder, and Aholibah her sister: and they were mine, and they bare sons and daughters. Thus were their names; Samaria is Aholah, and Jerusalem Aholibah.
5	오홀라는 내 밑에 있으면서도 놀아났다. 그와 사랑을 주고받던 남자들에게 욕망을 품은 것이다. 그들은 아시리아 군인들이었다.	And Aholah played the harlot when she was mine; and she doted on her lovers, on the Assyrians her neighbours,
6	그들은 푸른 보라색 옷을 입고 있었다. 총독들과 장교들이었다. 전부 멋진 젊은이들이었다. 말을 탄 기마병들도 있었다.	Which were clothed with blue, captains and rulers, all of them desirable young men, horsemen riding upon horses.
7	오홀라는 그들과 마구 놀아났다. 그들은 다들 아시리아의 뛰어난 사람들이었다. 오홀라는 자기가 욕망을 품었던 모든 것으로 스스로를 더럽혔다. 아시리아의 모든 우상으로 스스로를 더럽혔다.	Thus she committed her whoredoms with them, with all them that were the chosen men of Assyria, and with all on whom she doted: with all their idols she defiled herself.
8	오홀라는 이집트에서부터 놀아나던 짓거리를 그만두지 않았다. 그가 어릴 때 이미 남자들이 그와 잠자리했고, 그들이 젊은 여자인 오홀라의 젖꼭지를 짓눌렀다. 그들의 욕망을 그에게 쏟아 냈다.	Neither left she her whoredoms brought from Egypt: for in her youth they lay with her, and they bruised the breasts of her virginity, and poured their whoredom upon her.
9	이러므로 내가 그를 그와 사랑을 주고받던 사람들의 손에 넘겨주었다. 그가 욕망을 품은 아시리아 남자들의 손에 넘겨주었다.	Wherefore I have delivered her into the hand of her lovers, into the hand of the Assyrians, upon whom she doted.
10	그들이 직접 그가 벌거벗은 것을 드러냈다. 그의 아들들과 딸들은 데려갔고, 그는 그들이 칼로 죽였다. 그는 여자들에게 나쁜 이름이 되었다. 사람들이 그에게 형벌을 집행했다.	These discovered her nakedness: they took her sons and her daughters, and slew her with the sword: and she became famous among women; for they had executed judgment upon her.
11	동생 오홀리바가 이것을 보았다. 그런데도 그는 언니보다 더 부패하여 자신의 욕망에 더 불탔다. 언니가 놀아난 것보다 더 심하게 놀아났다.	And when her sister Aholibah saw this, she was more corrupt in her inordinate love than she, and in her whoredoms more than her sister in her whoredoms.
12	그는 아시리아 남자들에게 욕망을 품었다. 그들은 총독들과 장교들이었다. 완전 무장을 한 군인들, 말을 타는 기마병들도 있었다. 다들 멋진 젊은이들이었다.	She doted upon the Assyrians her neighbours, captains and rulers clothed most gorgeously, horsemen riding upon horses, all of them desirable young men.
13	내가 보니 그가 스스로를 더럽혔다. 두 자매가 같은 길로 간 것이다.	Then I saw that she was defiled, that they took both one way,
14	오홀리바는 한층 더 마구 놀아났다. 그는 벽에 새겨 놓은 남자들을 보았다. 붉은색으로 새겨 놓은 칼데아 남자들의 모습을 보았다.	And that she increased her whoredoms: for when she saw men pourtrayed upon the wall, the images of the Chaldeans pourtrayed with vermilion,
15	그들은 허리에 띠를 띠고 머리에 머리 두르개를 늘어뜨리고 있었다. 전부 전투수레 부관의 모습을 하고 있었다. 그들은 바빌론 남자들의 모양을 하고 있었다. 칼데아가 그들의 고향이었다.	Girded with girdles upon their loins, exceeding in dyed attire upon their heads, all of them princes to look to, after the manner of the Babylonians of Chaldea, the land of their nativity:
16	오홀리바는 그들을 보자마자 그들에게 욕망을 품었다. 그들을 부르러 칼데아로 심부름꾼들을 보냈다.	And as soon as she saw them with her eyes, she doted upon them, and sent messengers unto them into Chaldea.
17	바빌론 남자들이 그에게로 와서 사랑의 잠자리에 들었고, 그와 놀아남으로써 그를 더럽혔다. 그가 그들 때문에 더러워졌다. 그런데 그가 싫증이 나서 그들한테서 돌아섰다.	And the Babylonians came to her into the bed of love, and they defiled her with their whoredom, and she was polluted with them, and her mind was alienated from them.
18	그는 자기가 마구 놀아나는 모습을 드러내고 자기가 벌거벗은 것을 드러냈다. 그래서 내가 싫증이 나서 그에게서 돌아섰다. 내가 싫증이 나서 그의 언니에게서 돌아선 것과 마찬가지다.	So she discovered her whoredoms, and discovered her nakedness: then my mind was alienated from her, like as my mind was alienated from her sister.
19	그는 더욱 심하게 마구 놀아나다가 어린 시절을 기억했다. 그가 이집트 땅에서 놀아났던 때를 기억한 것이다.	Yet she multiplied her whoredoms, in calling to remembrance the days of her youth, wherein she had played the harlot in the land of Egypt.
20	그리고 그는 이집트 남자들에게 욕망을 품었다. 나귀의 아랫도리 같은 것이 그들의 아랫도리였다. 말 생식기 같은 것이 그들의 음경이었다.	For she doted upon their paramours, whose flesh is as the flesh of asses, and whose issue is like the issue of horses.
21	너 오홀리바는 어린 시절의 지저분한 삶을 그리워했다. 그때 너는 이집트 남자들한테 너의 젖꼭지가 짓눌렸고, 너의 어린 가슴도 눌렸다.”	Thus thou calledst to remembrance the lewdness of thy youth, in bruising thy teats by the Egyptians for the paps of thy youth.
22	민족들이 오홀리바에게 쳐들어올 것이다 (예언자) 주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. (하나님) “이러므로, 오홀리바야, 보라, 너와 사랑을 주고받던 남자들을 내가 일깨워 너와 맞서게 하겠다. 너는 싫증이 나서 그들한테서부터 돌아섰지. 내가 그들을 사방에서부터 너한테로 데려오겠다.	Therefore, O Aholibah, thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will raise up thy lovers against thee, from whom thy mind is alienated, and I will bring them against thee on every side;
23	그들은 바빌론 남자들과 모든 칼데아 남자들이다. 브곳, 소아, 고아 남자들이다. 또 그들과 함께한 모든 아시리아 남자들이다. 멋진 젊은이들이다. 총독들과 장교들과 전투수레 부관들 전부다. 부름받아 나온 사람들과 말을 타는 기마병들 전부다.	The Babylonians, and all the Chaldeans, Pekod, and Shoa, and Koa, and all the Assyrians with them: all of them desirable young men, captains and rulers, great lords and renowned, all of them riding upon horses.
24	그들이 북쪽에서부터 너에게로 쳐들어올 것이다. 전투수레와 일반 수레를 몰고 군인들의 무리를 거느리고 올 것이다. 그들은 큰 방패와 손 방패와 투구로 무장했을 것이다. 너의 둘레를 빙 돌아가며 자리 잡을 것이다. 내가 심판할 일을 그들 앞에 내놓겠다. 그러면 그들이 너를 그들의 법대로 심판할 것이다.	And they shall come against thee with chariots, wagons, and wheels, and with an assembly of people, which shall set against thee buckler and shield and helmet round about: and I will set judgment before them, and they shall judge thee according to their judgments.
25	내가 너를 두고 질투를 하면, 그들이 분노로 너를 대할 것이다. 그들이 너의 코와 귀를 잘라 낼 것이다. 너희 가운데 남은 사람들은 칼에 쓰러질 것이다. 그들이 너의 아들들과 딸들을 데려갈 것이다. 너희 가운데 남은 사람들은 불에 집어삼켜질 것이다.	And I will set my jealousy against thee, and they shall deal furiously with thee: they shall take away thy nose and thine ears; and thy remnant shall fall by the sword: they shall take thy sons and thy daughters; and thy residue shall be devoured by the fire.
26	그들이 너에게서 너의 옷을 벗기고, 너의 장신구를 빼앗아 갈 것이다.	They shall also strip thee out of thy clothes, and take away thy fair jewels.
27	내가 너의 지저분한 짓이 너한테서 그치게 하겠다. 네가 이집트에서부터 놀아나던 것도 그치게 해 주겠다. 그러면 네가 너의 눈길을 그들에게로 돌리지 않고 이집트를 더는 기억하지 않을 것이다.”	Thus will I make thy lewdness to cease from thee, and thy whoredom brought from the land of Egypt: so that thou shalt not lift up thine eyes unto them, nor remember Egypt any more.
28	(예언자) 주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. (하나님) “보라, 네가 미워하는 사람들의 손에 내가 너를 넘겨줄 것이기 때문이다. 너는 싫증이 나서 그들에게서 돌아섰지.	For thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will deliver thee into the hand of them whom thou hatest, into the hand of them from whom thy mind is alienated:
29	그들이 너를 미움으로 대하고 네가 힘들여 이룬 것마다 빼앗아 갈 것이다. 너를 벌거벗은 알몸인 채로 내버려둘 것이다. 그래서 네가 놀아날 때 벌거벗은 것이 드러날 것이다. 네가 마구 놀아날 때 저지른 지저분한 짓도 드러날 것이다.	And they shall deal with thee hatefully, and shall take away all thy labour, and shall leave thee naked and bare: and the nakedness of thy whoredoms shall be discovered, both thy lewdness and thy whoredoms.
30	이런 일들이 너에게 닥칠 것이다. 네가 민족들을 뒤따르며 놀아났기 때문이다. 그들의 우상들로 스스로를 더럽힌 까닭이다.	I will do these things unto thee, because thou hast gone a whoring after the heathen, and because thou art polluted with their idols.
31	너는 네 언니의 길로 걸어갔다. 그래서 내가 언니의 잔을 너의 손에 넘겨주겠다.”	Thou hast walked in the way of thy sister; therefore will I give her cup into thine hand.
32	(예언자) 주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. (하나님) “네 언니의 잔으로 네가 마실 것이다. 깊고 넓은 잔이다. 네가 웃음거리와 놀림거리가 될 것이다. 그 잔에는 술이 많이 들어갈 것이다.	Thus saith the Lord God; Thou shalt drink of thy sister’s cup deep and large: thou shalt be laughed to scorn and had in derision; it containeth much.
33	너는 잔뜩 취한 채로 슬픔에 잠길 것이다. 끔찍한, 황폐하게 하는 잔이 너의 언니 사마리아의 잔이다.	Thou shalt be filled with drunkenness and sorrow, with the cup of astonishment and desolation, with the cup of thy sister Samaria.
34	네가 그 잔이 비도록 마시고는 진흙잔 조각까지 갉아 먹고, 너의 가슴을 잡아 찢을 것이다. 내가 이렇게 말했기 때문이다. ― 주 여호와의 말씀입니다. ―”	Thou shalt even drink it and suck it out, and thou shalt break the sherds thereof, and pluck off thine own breasts: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord God.
35	(예언자) 이러므로 주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. (하나님) “네가 나를 잊고 나를 너의 등 뒤로 던져 버렸다. 그러니 너 또한 네가 지저분한 짓을 저지르며 마구 놀아난 죄 때문에 벌을 받아라!”	Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Because thou hast forgotten me, and cast me behind thy back, therefore bear thou also thy lewdness and thy whoredoms.
36	오홀라와 오홀리바가 저지른 역겨운 짓들 (예언자) 여호와께서 나에게 말씀하셨습니다. (하나님) “사람아, 네가 오홀라와 오홀리바를 심판하겠느냐? 그러면 그들에게 알려 주어라, 그들이 저지른 역겨운 짓들을!	The Lord said moreover unto me; Son of man, wilt thou judge Aholah and Aholibah? yea, declare unto them their abominations;
37	그들은 바람을 피웠고, 피가 그들의 손에 있기 때문이다. 그들의 우상들과 바람을 피웠다. 그들이 나에게 낳아 준 자신의 자녀들마저 불속으로 지나가게 하여 우상들의 먹을거리로 바쳤다.	That they have committed adultery, and blood is in their hands, and with their idols have they committed adultery, and have also caused their sons, whom they bare unto me, to pass for them through the fire, to devour them.
38	게다가 그들은 나에게 이렇게까지 했다. 나의 거룩한곳(성소)을 바로 그날에 더럽혔고, 나의 안식일들을 속되게 한 것이다.	Moreover this they have done unto me: they have defiled my sanctuary in the same day, and have profaned my sabbaths.
39	그들이 자기 자녀들을 자신의 우상들을 위해 도살했을 때였다. 그들이 나의 거룩한곳(성소)으로 바로 그날에 들어와 그곳을 속되게 했다. 보라, 이런 짓을 그들이 나의 집 한가운데서 저지른 것이 아니냐!	For when they had slain their children to their idols, then they came the same day into my sanctuary to profane it; and, lo, thus have they done in the midst of mine house.
40	오홀라와 오홀리바는 사람을 보내어 멀리서 남자들을 불러오게도 했다. 심부름꾼을 그들에게 보냈다. 저기, 그들이 온 것이 아니냐! 그들을 위해 너 오홀리바가 몸을 씻었구나. 눈에 화장을 하고 장신구로 몸을 꾸몄구나.	And furthermore, that ye have sent for men to come from far, unto whom a messenger was sent; and, lo, they came: for whom thou didst wash thyself, paintedst thy eyes, and deckedst thyself with ornaments,
41	네가 값비싼 자리를 깔고 앉았구나. 그 앞에는 상이 차려져 있구나. 나의 향과 나의 기름을 네가 그 상 위에 올려놓았구나.	And satest upon a stately bed, and a table prepared before it, whereupon thou hast set mine incense and mine oil.
42	편안히 지내는 무리의 떠드는 소리가 오홀리바와 함께했다. 별 볼 일 없는 남자들과 더불어 술 취한 사람들이 사막에서 불려 왔다. 사람들이 오홀리바 자매의 손에 팔찌를 끼워 주고 머리에 화려한 관을 씌워 주었다.	And a voice of a multitude being at ease was with her: and with the men of the common sort were brought Sabeans from the wilderness, which put bracelets upon their hands, and beautiful crowns upon their heads.
43	음란한 짓을 하다가 힘이 다 빠져 버린 여자를 두고서 내가 말했다. ‘이제는 아무 남자나 그 여자와 놀아나는구나, 그 여자도 그렇고!’	Then said I unto her that was old in adulteries, Will they now commit whoredoms with her, and she with them?
44	남자들이 그에게 들어갔다, 놀아나는 여자에게 들어가듯이! 그처럼 오홀라와 오홀리바에게 들어갔다. 지저분한 여자들에게!	Yet they went in unto her, as they go in unto a woman that playeth the harlot: so went they in unto Aholah and unto Aholibah, the lewd women.
45	그러나 의인들, 그들이 이 자매를 심판할 것이다. 바람피우는 여자들을 심판하는 식으로, 남의 피를 쏟은 여자들을 심판하는 식으로 심판할 것이다. 이 자매는 바람피우는 여자들이고, 이들의 손에 피가 묻어 있기 때문이다.”	And the righteous men, they shall judge them after the manner of adulteresses, and after the manner of women that shed blood; because they are adulteresses, and blood is in their hands.
46	(예언자) 주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. (하나님) “두 자매를 치러 무리가 올라가게 해라. 사람들이 그들을 보고 겁먹어 떨게 만들고 그들을 약탈하게 만들어라.	For thus saith the Lord God; I will bring up a company upon them, and will give them to be removed and spoiled.
47	무리가 그들에게 돌을 던지고 칼로 그들을 베어 버릴 것이다. 그들의 아들들과 딸들을 죽이고 집들을 불로 태울 것이다.	And the company shall stone them with stones, and dispatch them with their swords; they shall slay their sons and their daughters, and burn up their houses with fire.
48	지저분한 짓을 내가 이 땅에서 그치게 하겠다. 그러면 모든 여자가 가르침을 받아들이고, 너희 자매가 저지른 것 같은 지저분한 짓을 저지르지 않을 것이다.	Thus will I cause lewdness to cease out of the land, that all women may be taught not to do after your lewdness.
49	너희가 저지른 지저분한 짓을 사람들이 너희에게 되돌려줄 것이다. 너희의 우상들을 섬긴 죗값을 너희가 치러야 할 것이다. 그때 너희가 알게 될 것이다, 내가 주 여호와라는 것을!”	And they shall recompense your lewdness upon you, and ye shall bear the sins of your idols: and ye shall know that I am the Lord God.
