절	새한글성경 (2024)	King James Version
1	에스겔이 여호와의 영광을 보다 (예언자) 서른째 해 넷째 달 다섯째 날에 일이 일어났습니다. 그때 나는 사로잡혀 와 있는 사람 가운데 있었습니다. 그발강 가였습니다. 하늘이 열렸고, 나는 하나님이 보여 주신 여러 가지를 보았습니다.	Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river of Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.
2	― 그달 다섯째 날이었다. 그해는 여호야긴 임금이 사로잡혀 온 지 5년째 되는 해였다.	In the fifth day of the month, which was the fifth year of king Jehoiachin’s captivity,
3	여호와의 말씀이 내려오고 내려오는 일이 일어났다. 부시 제사장의 아들 에스겔에게 내려온 것이다. 칼데아 사람들의 땅 그발강 가에서였다. 거기서 그에게 여호와의 손이 내려오는 일이 일어났다. ―	The word of the Lord came expressly unto Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar; and the hand of the Lord was there upon him.
4	(예언자) 내가 보았습니다. 아, 매우 세찬 바람이 북쪽에서부터 불어오고 있는 것이 아닙니까! 구름이 엄청났습니다. 불이 이리저리 번쩍였고, 광채가 그 둘레에 있었습니다. 그 가운데서 무엇인가 불꽃처럼 이글거리는 것이 나타났습니다. 그 불 가운데서요.	And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire.
5	그 가운데서 네 가지 생물의 모양이 나타났습니다. 그들의 모습은 이러했습니다. 사람과 닮은 모양이 그들에게 있었습니다.	Also out of the midst thereof came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance; they had the likeness of a man.
6	각각에게 네 얼굴이 있었고, 그들 각각에게 네 날개가 있었습니다.	And every one had four faces, and every one had four wings.
7	그들의 다리는 곧은 다리였습니다. 그들의 발바닥은 송아지 발바닥 같았는데, 매끄러운 놋처럼 반짝이고 있었습니다.	And their feet were straight feet; and the sole of their feet was like the sole of a calf’s foot: and they sparkled like the colour of burnished brass.
8	사람의 손이 그들 네 면에 달린 날개 아래에 있었습니다. 얼굴과 날개가 그 네 생물에게 있었습니다.	And they had the hands of a man under their wings on their four sides; and they four had their faces and their wings.
9	그들의 날개는 서로 맞닿아 있었습니다. 날개들이 움직일 때 그들은 몸을 틀지 않았습니다. 그들이 저마다 바로 자신의 앞쪽으로 움직였습니다.	Their wings were joined one to another; they turned not when they went; they went every one straight forward.
10	그들의 얼굴 모양은 사람의 얼굴이었습니다. 사자의 얼굴이 그들 넷의 오른쪽에 있었습니다. 또 황소의 얼굴이 그들 넷의 왼쪽에 있었습니다. 독수리의 얼굴도 그들 넷에게 있었습니다.	As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle.
11	그들의 얼굴은 이러했습니다. 그들의 날개들은 위로 펼쳐져 있었습니다. 저마다 날개가 둘씩 서로 맞닿아 있었고, 두 날개가 그들의 몸을 덮고 있었습니다.	Thus were their faces: and their wings were stretched upward; two wings of every one were joined one to another, and two covered their bodies.
12	저마다 바로 자신의 앞쪽으로 움직였습니다. 여호와의 영이 가시려는 곳으로 움직였습니다. 날개들이 움직일 때 그들은 몸을 틀지 않았습니다.	And they went every one straight forward: whither the spirit was to go, they went; and they turned not when they went.
13	그 생물들의 모양, 그들의 모습은 타고 있는 숯불 같았습니다. 횃불의 모습 같았습니다. 그것이 생물들 사이를 이리저리 다니고 있었습니다. 광채가 그 불에 있었고, 그 불에서 번개가 나왔습니다.	As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, and like the appearance of lamps: it went up and down among the living creatures; and the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning.
14	그 생물들은 앞뒤로 돌진하다 홱 돌아서곤 했는데, 모습이 번개 같았습니다.	And the living creatures ran and returned as the appearance of a flash of lightning.
15	내가 그 생물들을 보았습니다. 아, 바퀴가 한 개씩 땅에, 그 생물들 곁에 있는 것이 아닙니까, 네 얼굴에 각각 한 개씩!	Now as I beheld the living creatures, behold one wheel upon the earth by the living creatures, with his four faces.
16	바퀴들의 모습과 만듦새는 스페인토파즈를 닮았습니다. 넷이 한가지 모양이었습니다. 그것들의 모습과 만듦새는, 바퀴 가운데 바퀴가 들어 있는 것 같았습니다.	The appearance of the wheels and their work was like unto the colour of a beryl: and they four had one likeness: and their appearance and their work was as it were a wheel in the middle of a wheel.
17	바퀴들이 움직일 때 그 생물들은 네 방향으로 움직였습니다. 바퀴들이 움직일 때 그 생물들은 몸을 틀지 않았습니다.	When they went, they went upon their four sides: and they turned not when they went.
18	바퀴들의 테두리는 높고 무시무시했습니다. 그 테두리들은 네 바퀴를 빙 둘러 눈으로 가득 차 있었습니다.	As for their rings, they were so high that they were dreadful; and their rings were full of eyes round about them four.
19	생물들이 움직일 때 바퀴들도 그 곁에서 움직였습니다. 생물들이 땅 위로 떠오를 때 바퀴들도 떠올랐습니다.	And when the living creatures went, the wheels went by them: and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up.
20	하나님의 영이 가시려는 곳이면 그리로 그들이 움직였습니다. 어디로든지 영이 가시려는 곳으로요. 바퀴들도 그들과 마찬가지로 떠올랐습니다. 생물들의 영이 바퀴들 속에 있었기 때문입니다.	Whithersoever the spirit was to go, they went, thither was their spirit to go; and the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.
21	생물들이 움직일 때 바퀴들도 움직였고, 그들이 멈추어 설 때 바퀴들도 멈추어 섰습니다. 그들이 땅 위로 떠오를 때 바퀴들도 그들과 마찬가지로 떠올랐습니다. 생물들의 영이 바퀴들 속에 있었기 때문입니다.	When those went, these went; and when those stood, these stood; and when those were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.
22	어떤 모양이 생물들의 머리 위에 있었는데, 둥근지붕(궁창)이었습니다. 수정 같은 것인데 보기에 무서웠습니다. 그것이 생물들의 머리 위로 펼쳐져 있었습니다.	And the likeness of the firmament upon the heads of the living creature was as the colour of the terrible crystal, stretched forth over their heads above.
23	그 둥근지붕(궁창) 아래에 생물들의 날개가 곧게 펴져 서로를 향하고 있었습니다. 이쪽 생물들도 저마다 두 날개로 자기 몸을 덮고 있었고, 저쪽 생물들도 저마다 자기 몸을 덮고 있었습니다.	And under the firmament were their wings straight, the one toward the other: every one had two, which covered on this side, and every one had two, which covered on that side, their bodies.
24	내가 날개 소리를 들었는데, 많은 물소리 같았고 샷다이(전능하신 분)의 소리 같았습니다. 생물들이 움직일 때 난 소리였습니다. 많은 군중의 소리였고, 군대의 소리 같았습니다. 생물들이 멈추어 설 때 날개를 늘어뜨렸습니다.	And when they went, I heard the noise of their wings, like the noise of great waters, as the voice of the Almighty, the voice of speech, as the noise of an host: when they stood, they let down their wings.
25	그때 생물들 머리 위 둥근지붕(궁창) 위쪽에서 소리가 났습니다. 생물들이 멈추어 설 때 날개를 늘어뜨렸습니다.	And there was a voice from the firmament that was over their heads, when they stood, and had let down their wings.
26	생물들의 머리 위 둥근지붕(궁창) 위쪽에, 모습이 사파이어 보석 같은 것이 있었습니다. 임금자리와 닮은 모양이었습니다. 임금자리와 닮은 모양 위에, 사람의 모습과 닮은 어떤 모양이 그 위에, 위쪽에 계셨습니다.	And above the firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the likeness of the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it.
27	내가 또 무엇인가 불꽃같이 이글거리는 것을 보았습니다. 불 같아 보이는 어떤 것이 집처럼, 그분의 허리 같아 보이는 것 둘레 위쪽으로 있었습니다. 그분의 허리 같아 보이는 것 아래쪽으로도 불 같아 보이는 어떤 것을 내가 보았습니다. 광채가 그분의 둘레에 있었습니다.	And I saw as the colour of amber, as the appearance of fire round about within it, from the appearance of his loins even upward, and from the appearance of his loins even downward, I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and it had brightness round about.
28	비 오는 날 구름 속에 있는 무지개의 모습처럼 광채의 모습이 둘레에 있었습니다. 그 모습은 여호와의 영광을 닮은 모양이었습니다! 내가 그 모습을 뵙고는 얼굴을 땅에 대고 엎드렸고, 말씀하시는 목소리를 들었습니다.	As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spake.
