절	새한글성경 (2024)	King James Version
1	쓸모없는 포도나무 (예언자) 여호와의 말씀이 나에게 내려오는 일이 일어났습니다.	And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
2	(하나님) “사람아, 어떤 점에서 포도나무가 온갖 나무보다 나으냐? 그 나뭇가지가 숲의 나무들에 있는 가지보다 나으냐?	Son of man, What is the vine tree more than any tree, or than a branch which is among the trees of the forest?
3	포도나무에서부터 무엇이라도 만들 목재가 나오겠느냐? 어떤 도구라도 걸 수 있는 못걸이를 포도나무에서부터 만들어 낼 수 있겠느냐?	Shall wood be taken thereof to do any work? or will men take a pin of it to hang any vessel thereon?
4	보라, 포도나무는 불에 던져져서 땔감이 된다. 나무의 양 끝을 불이 집어삼키고 나무의 가운데는 타들어 간다. 그런 나무가 무엇으로 쓰이겠느냐?	Behold, it is cast into the fire for fuel; the fire devoureth both the ends of it, and the midst of it is burned. Is it meet for any work?
5	보라, 포도나무가 성할 때도 무엇으로 만들어질 수 없었다. 더더욱 그렇지 않겠느냐, 포도나무를 불이 집어삼켜 버렸고 나무가 불에 타들어 갔다면! 그래서 나무가 더는 무엇으로 만들어질 수 없다면!”	Behold, when it was whole, it was meet for no work: how much less shall it be meet yet for any work, when the fire hath devoured it, and it is burned?
6	(예언자) 이러므로 주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. (하나님) “숲의 나무 가운데 포도나무를 내가 불에 던져 넣으면 땔감이 된다. 그 포도나무처럼 내가 예루살렘에 살고 있는 사람들을 던져 버리겠다.	Therefore thus saith the Lord God; As the vine tree among the trees of the forest, which I have given to the fire for fuel, so will I give the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
7	내가 나의 얼굴이 그들한테로 향하게 하겠다. 불에서부터 그들이 나왔더라도 불이 그들을 집어삼킬 것이다. 그러면 너희가 알게 될 것이다, 내가 여호와인 것을! 내가 나의 얼굴을 그들한테로 향하게 할 때 말이다.	And I will set my face against them; they shall go out from one fire, and another fire shall devour them; and ye shall know that I am the Lord, when I set my face against them.
8	내가 그 땅을 황무지로 만들겠다. 그들이 신의를 저버렸기 때문이다. ― 주 여호와의 말씀입니다. ―”	And I will make the land desolate, because they have committed a trespass, saith the Lord God.
