1	주님을, 오, 여호와여, 나 간절히 바랍니다.	Unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.
2	주님을 기다리는 사람의 탄원 기도 / 다윗에게 속한 것. / (기도) 나의 하나님, 주님을 나 의지합니다. 내가 창피당하지 않게 해 주십시오. 내 원수들이 나를 두고서 기쁨에 겨워하지 못하게 해 주십시오!	O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.
3	주님을 기다리는 사람은 그 누구도 창피당하지 않게 해 주십시오. 창피당하게 해 주십시오, 실속 없이 배신하는 사람들은!	Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause.
4	주님의 길을, 오, 여호와여, 내게 알려 주십시오. 주님의 좁은 길을 내게 가르쳐 주십시오.	Shew me thy ways, O Lord; teach me thy paths.
5	주님의 참되심 가운데 내가 걷게 해 주십시오. 나를 가르쳐 주십시오. 주님은 나를 도우시는 하나님이십니다. 주님을 내가 애타게 기다렸습니다, 온종일!	Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.
6	기억해 주십시오, 주님의 자비를, 오, 여호와여, 주님의 한결같은 사랑도. 그 자비와 사랑은 오래전부터 있었으니까요.	Remember, O Lord, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses; for they have been ever of old.
7	내 어릴 때의 죄와 범죄를 기억하지 마십시오. 주님의 한결같은 사랑에 맞추어 나를 기억해 주십시오. 주님은 좋은 하나님이시니까요, 오, 여호와여!	Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness’ sake, O Lord.
8	(혼잣말) 여호와는 좋고 올곧은 하나님이셔. 이런 까닭에 죄짓는 사람들에게 길을 가르쳐 주시지.	Good and upright is the Lord: therefore will he teach sinners in the way.
9	여호와는 겸손한 사람들을 정의 가운데로 걷게 하셔. 겸손한 사람들에게 여호와의 길을 가르쳐 주신다네.	The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.
10	여호와의 모든 길은 한결같은 사랑과 참되심이야, 여호와가 맺어 주신 언약과 여호와의 증언들을 따르는 사람들에게!	All the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.
11	(기도) 주님의 이름을 생각해서라도, 오, 여호와여, 내 잘못을 용서해 주시기 바랍니다. 내 잘못이 많으니까요.	For thy name’s sake, O Lord, pardon mine iniquity; for it is great.
12	(혼잣말) 도대체 누가 여호와를 두려워하는 사람인가? 그에게 여호와는 가리켜 주신다네, 그가 선택해야 할 길을!	What man is he that feareth the Lord? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose.
13	그 자신은 계속 잘될 것이고, 그의 후손이 땅을 차지할 거야.	His soul shall dwell at ease; and his seed shall inherit the earth.
14	여호와의 계획은 여호와를 두려워하는 사람들을 위한 것이고, 여호와의 언약은 그들에게 알리기 위한 것이지.	The secret of the Lord is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.
15	내 눈은 늘 여호와를 향해 있다네. 여호와가 내 발을 그물에서 빼내 주실 것이거든.	Mine eyes are ever toward the Lord; for he shall pluck my feet out of the net.
16	(기도) 내게로 향하셔서 나를 불쌍히 여겨 주십시오. 나는 외롭고 불쌍하니까요.	Turn thee unto me, and have mercy upon me; for I am desolate and afflicted.
17	내 마음의 어려움을 덜어 주십시오. 괴로움에서 내가 벗어나게 해 주십시오.	The troubles of my heart are enlarged: O bring thou me out of my distresses.
18	내 비참함과 수고로움을 살펴봐 주십시오! 내 모든 죄를 없애 주십시오!	Look upon mine affliction and my pain; and forgive all my sins.
19	보십시오, 내 원수들을. 그 수가 많거든요. 부당하게 나를 미워하거든요.	Consider mine enemies; for they are many; and they hate me with cruel hatred.
20	내 목숨을 지켜 주시고, 나를 건져 내 주십시오. 내가 창피당하지 않게 해 주십시오. 나는 주님께로 피했거든요.	O keep my soul, and deliver me: let me not be ashamed; for I put my trust in thee.
21	흠 없이 올곧게 살도록 나를 지켜 주십시오. 나는 주님을 애타게 기다리니까요.	Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on thee.
22	건져 내 주십시오, 하나님! 이스라엘을 그 온갖 어려움에서요.	Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles.
