1	“사람들이 나를 많이 어렵게 했어, 내 젊을 때부터.” 하고이스라엘은 말해야지요.	Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth, may Israel now say:
2	적들을 물리치신 여호와 / 성전으로 올라가면서 부르는 노래. “사람들이 나를 많이 어렵게 했어, 내 젊을 때부터. 그렇지만 나를 이길 수 없었어.	Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth: yet they have not prevailed against me.
3	내 등을 그들이 밭처럼 갈아 왔어. 길게 고랑을 냈어.	The plowers plowed upon my back: they made long their furrows.
4	여호와는 공의로운 분이시지. 악인들의 밧줄을 잘라 버리셨어.”	The Lord is righteous: he hath cut asunder the cords of the wicked.
5	창피당하고 물러가야지요, 시온을 미워하는 모든 사람은!	Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Zion.
6	그들은 지붕 위의 풀처럼 되어야지요. 자라기도 전에 말라 버려야지요.	Let them be as the grass upon the housetops, which withereth afore it groweth up:
7	그들은 풀 베는 사람에게 한 줌도 되지 않아야지요. 모아서 묶는 사람의 품에도 차지 않아야지요.	Wherewith the mower filleth not his hand; nor he that bindeth sheaves his bosom.
8	지나가는 사람 그 누구도 이렇게 말하지 않아야지요. “여호와가 베푸시는 복이 그대들에게 있기를! 우리가 그대들을 축복해요, 여호와의 이름으로.”	Neither do they which go by say, The blessing of the Lord be upon you: we bless you in the name of the Lord.
