1	이스라엘의 하나님 찬양 / (사람에게 하는 말) 할렐루야. 여러분은 여호와께 감사 찬양을 드리세요! 여호와는 좋으시니까요. 영원하니까요, 여호와의 한결같은 사랑은.	Praise ye the Lord. O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
2	누가 말할 수 있을까요, 여호와가 힘 있게 하신 일들을? 다 선포할 수 있을까요, 여호와의 명성을?	Who can utter the mighty acts of the Lord? who can shew forth all his praise?
3	복 있습니다, 정의를 따르는 사람들은! 어느 때나 공의를 이루는 사람들은!	Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times.
4	(기도) 나를 기억해 주십시오, 오, 여호와여, 주님의 백성을 어여삐 여기실 때요. 나를 찾아 주십시오, 주님이 그들을 구하실 때요.	Remember me, O Lord, with the favour that thou bearest unto thy people: O visit me with thy salvation;
5	그래서 내가 보게 해 주십시오, 주님이 뽑으신 사람들이 잘되는 것을. 내가 기뻐하게 해 주십시오, 주님의 민족이 즐거워하는 것을. 내가 자랑하게 해 주십시오, 주님 몫인 백성과 함께.	That I may see the good of thy chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of thy nation, that I may glory with thine inheritance.
6	우리가 우리 조상들과 함께 죄를 지었습니다. 잘못했습니다. 불의하게 처신했습니다.	We have sinned with our fathers, we have committed iniquity, we have done wickedly.
7	우리 조상들이 이집트에서 주님 하신 놀라운 일들을 이해하지 못했습니다. 주님의 한결같은 사랑이 엄청나다는 것을 기억하지 않았습니다. 바다 곧 홍해에서 주님을 거슬렀습니다.	Our fathers understood not thy wonders in Egypt; they remembered not the multitude of thy mercies; but provoked him at the sea, even at the Red sea.
8	(혼잣말) 그런데 여호와가 그들을 구해 주셨어, 여호와의 이름 때문에. 여호와의 능력을 알리시려고.	Nevertheless he saved them for his name’s sake, that he might make his mighty power to be known.
9	여호와가 홍해를 꾸짖어 마르게 하셨어. 그들이 깊은 물 가운데를 광야처럼 걸어가게 해 주셨어.	He rebuked the Red sea also, and it was dried up: so he led them through the depths, as through the wilderness.
10	여호와가 그들을 그 미워하는 사람의 손에서 구해 주셨지. 원수의 손에서 그들을 건져 내 주셨어.	And he saved them from the hand of him that hated them, and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.
11	여호와가 물로 그들의 적들을 덮으셨지. 적들 가운데서 한 사람도 살아남지 못했어.	And the waters covered their enemies: there was not one of them left.
12	그래서 조상들은 여호와의 말씀을 믿었지. 여호와의 명성을 노래했어.	Then believed they his words; they sang his praise.
13	그런데 그들은 곧바로 여호와가 하신 일들을 잊어버렸어. 여호와의 결정을 기다리지 않았지.	They soon forgat his works; they waited not for his counsel:
14	또 그들은 빈 들판에서 크게 욕심을 부렸어. 거친 들판에서 하나님을 시험해 보았지.	But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tempted God in the desert.
15	하나님은 그들이 요구한 것을 그들에게 주셨어. 그러고는 무서운 병을 그들 가운데로 보내셨지.	And he gave them their request; but sent leanness into their soul.
16	그러자 그들이 진영에서 들고일어났어, 모세에게 맞서서, 또 여호와께 거룩한 사람 아론에게 맞서서.	They envied Moses also in the camp, and Aaron the saint of the Lord.
17	땅이 갈라져 다단을 삼켰지. 아비람 무리를 덮어 버렸어.	The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan, and covered the company of Abiram.
18	불이 그 무리 가운데서 타올랐어. 불꽃이 악인들을 태워 버렸지.	And a fire was kindled in their company; the flame burned up the wicked.
19	그들이 호렙에서 송아지를 만들고, 녹여 만든 우상에게 엎드려 절했지.	They made a calf in Horeb, and worshipped the molten image.
20	그들은 그들의 영광을 바꾸었어, 풀 뜯는 소의 모습과.	Thus they changed their glory into the similitude of an ox that eateth grass.
21	그들을 구해 주신 하나님을 잊어버렸지, 이집트에서 큰일들을 하신 하나님을.	They forgat God their saviour, which had done great things in Egypt;
22	하나님은 놀라운 일들을 하셨어, 함의 땅에서, 두려운 일들을 홍해에서.	Wondrous works in the land of Ham, and terrible things by the Red sea.
23	하나님이 그들을 없애 버리겠다고 말씀하셨지. 하나님이 뽑으신 사람 모세가 그 틈새로 하나님 앞에 들어서지 않았더라면, 하나님의 노여움을 돌이키지 못했겠지. 그들은 멸망하고 말았겠지.	Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy them.
24	또 그들은 탐낼 만한 땅을 마다했어. 하나님의 말씀을 믿지 않았던 거야.	Yea, they despised the pleasant land, they believed not his word:
25	그들은 천막집에서 투덜댔지. 여호와의 목소리를 듣지 않았어.	But murmured in their tents, and hearkened not unto the voice of the Lord.
26	여호와가 손을 들어 그들을 치셨어. 그들을 광야에서 쓰러뜨리셨지.	Therefore he lifted up his hand against them, to overthrow them in the wilderness:
27	여호와가 그들의 후손을 민족들 가운데서 쓰러뜨리셨어. 그들을 나라들 가운데 흩어지게 하셨지.	To overthrow their seed also among the nations, and to scatter them in the lands.
28	그들은 바알브올에게 따라붙었지. 죽은 사람들에게 바치는 제물을 먹었어.	They joined themselves also unto Baal–peor, and ate the sacrifices of the dead.
29	그들은 그런 짓거리로 하나님을 노엽게 했어. 그래서 그들 가운데 재앙이 일어났지.	Thus they provoked him to anger with their inventions: and the plague brake in upon them.
30	비느하스가 일어나서 판가름하자, 재앙이 멈추었어.	Then stood up Phinehas, and executed judgment: and so the plague was stayed.
31	이 일로 그는 공의롭다고 인정받았지, 대대로 영원에 이르도록.	And that was counted unto him for righteousness unto all generations for evermore.
32	조상들이 므리바 물가에서 하나님을 화나게 했어. 그들 때문에 모세에게 화가 미쳤지.	They angered him also at the waters of strife, so that it went ill with Moses for their sakes:
33	그들이 하나님의 마음을 쓰라리게 하여, 모세가 입으로 막말을 내뱉었거든.	Because they provoked his spirit, so that he spake unadvisedly with his lips.
34	그들은 다른 백성들을 뿌리 뽑지 않았어. 여호와가 그들에게 말씀하신 대로 하지 않았지.	They did not destroy the nations, concerning whom the Lord commanded them:
35	그들은 민족들과 한데 섞여 민족들이 하는 짓을 배웠어.	But were mingled among the heathen, and learned their works.
36	그들이 민족들의 우상 신들을 섬겼는데, 그것들이 그들에게 덫이 되었지.	And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them.
37	그들은 자신의 아들딸들을 엉터리 신들에게 제물로 바쳤어.	Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils,
38	그들은 죄 없는 사람들의 피 곧 자신의 아들딸들의 피를 쏟았지. 그 아들딸들을 그들은 가나안 우상 신들에게 제물로 바쳤어. 그 땅이 피로 더럽혀졌지.	And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.
39	그들은 자신들이 한 짓들로 더러워졌어. 자신의 행동으로 우상 신들과 놀아났지.	Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions.
40	그래서 여호와가 자신의 백성을 향한 노여움으로 불타오르셨어. 여호와가 자신 몫의 겨레를 싫어하셨지.	Therefore was the wrath of the Lord kindled against his people, insomuch that he abhorred his own inheritance.
41	여호와가 그들을 민족들의 손에 넘기셨어. 그들을 미워하는 사람들이 그들을 다스렸어.	And he gave them into the hand of the heathen; and they that hated them ruled over them.
42	그들의 원수들이 그들을 괴롭혔고, 그들은 원수들의 손 아래에서 몸을 굽혔지.	Their enemies also oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under their hand.
43	여호와가 그들을 몇 번이고 구해 주셨지만, 그들은 자신들의 계획대로 대들었고 자신들의 잘못에 빠져들었어.	Many times did he deliver them; but they provoked him with their counsel, and were brought low for their iniquity.
44	그런데도 여호와는 그들이 어려움 겪는 것을 보셨어, 여호와가 그들의 탄원을 들으셨을 때.	Nevertheless he regarded their affliction, when he heard their cry:
45	여호와가 그들을 위해 자신이 맺어 주신 언약을 기억하셨어. 가슴 아파하셨지, 엄청나고도 한결같은 사랑을 따라.	And he remembered for them his covenant, and repented according to the multitude of his mercies.
46	여호와가 그들에게 자비를 베풀게 하셨어, 그들을 사로잡아 간 모든 사람이.	He made them also to be pitied of all those that carried them captives.
47	(기도) 우리를 구해 주십시오, 오, 여호와 우리 하나님! 우리를 민족들한테서부터 모아 주십시오! 주님의 거룩하신 이름에 감사 찬양을 드리도록, 주님의 명성을 칭송하도록!	Save us, O Lord our God, and gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks unto thy holy name, and to triumph in thy praise.
48	(사람에게 하는 말) 찬양받으실 만하지요, 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님은, 영원부터 영원까지! 온 백성은 응답하기 바랍니다, “아멘.”이라고! 할렐루야.	Blessed be the Lord God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye the Lord.
