절	새한글성경 (2024)	King James Version
1	심한피부병 앓는 사람을 깨끗하게 해 주시다 예수님이 산에서 내려오셨을 때 많은 무리들이 예수님을 따라왔다.	When he was come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him.
2	그런데, 보라, 심한피부병 앓는 사람이 다가와 예수님 앞에 거듭 엎드려 절하였다. 그러면서 말했다. “주님, 주님은 해 주실 뜻만 있으시면, 저를 깨끗하게 해 주실 수 있습니다.”	And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
3	예수님이 손을 내뻗어 그에게 대셨다. 그러면서 말씀하셨다. “그럼요, 그렇게 해 드리지요. 깨끗해지기를 바랍니다!” 그러자 곧바로 그가 그 심한피부병에서 깨끗해졌다.	And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
4	예수님이 그에게 말씀하신다. “주의하세요! 아무에게도 말하지 마세요. 가서 제사장님에게 몸을 보여 드리세요. 모세가 명령한 예물을 가져다 바치세요. 사람들에게 증거가 되도록요.” (; )	And Jesus saith unto him, See thou tell no man; but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.
5	백명대장의 아랫사람을 고쳐 주시다 예수님이 가버나움으로 들어가셨을 때, 어떤 백명대장이 예수님께 다가와 사정사정했다.	And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him,
6	그가 말했다. “주님, 제가 부리는 아이가 마비증이 있어서 집에 누워 있습니다. 끔찍하게 시달리고 있습니다.”	And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented.
7	그러자 예수님이 그에게 말씀하신다. “내가 직접 가서 그를 고쳐 주겠습니다.”	And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him.
8	백명대장이 대답했다. “주님, 저는 주님을 제 집으로 모셔 들일 만한 자격이 없습니다. 오직 말씀으로만 해 주십시오. 그러면 제가 부리는 아이가 나을 것입니다.	The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.
9	저 자신도 역시 윗사람 아래에 있는 사람이고, 제 아래에도 병사들이 있습니다. 그래서 제가 이 병사에게 ‘가라.’ 하면 가고, 저 병사에게 ‘오라.’ 하면 옵니다. 제 종에게 이것을 ‘하라.’ 하면 합니다.”	For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.
10	예수님이 들으시고는 놀랍게 여기셨다. 그리고 따라오는 사람들에게 말씀하셨다. “아멘 여러분에게 말합니다. 이스라엘 가운데 아무한테서도 이처럼 대단한 믿음을 만나 본 적이 없습니다.	When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.
11	여러분에게 말합니다. 많은 사람들이 동쪽과 서쪽에서 와서, 아브라함과 이삭과 야곱과 함께 하늘나라에서 기대앉아 먹게 될 겁니다.	And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.
12	그런데 그 나라의 본래 아들딸들은 바깥 어두운 데로 쫓겨날 것입니다. 거기서 그들은 울부짖으며 이를 갈 것입니다.”	But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
13	그러고는 예수님이 백명대장에게 말씀하셨다. “가 보세요, 그대가 믿은 대로 그대에게 이루어지기 바랍니다.” 바로 그 시각에 백명대장이 부리는 아이가 나았다. (; )	And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.
14	베드로의 장모와 많은 사람을 고쳐 주시다 예수님이 베드로의 집으로 들어가셨다. 거기서 보시니, 베드로의 장모가 몸져누워 있는데 열병을 앓고 있었다.	And when Jesus was come into Peter’s house, he saw his wife’s mother laid, and sick of a fever.
15	그래서 예수님이 그의 손을 어루만져 주셨다. 그러자 열병이 그를 떠났다. 베드로의 장모는 일으킴을 받아 예수님을 섬겼다.	And he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them.
16	날이 저물었을 때, 사람들이 예수님께 귀신 들린 사람들을 많이 데려왔다. 그러자 예수님은 말씀으로 그 영들을 쫓아내셨으며 아픈 사람들도 모두 고쳐 주셨다.	When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:
17	예언자 이사야를 통해 하신 말씀을 이루시려는 것이었다. 이런 말씀이었다. “그분은 몸소 우리의 아픔들을 떠안으시고, 질병들을 짊어지셨다.” ()	That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.
18	예수님을 따라가려면 예수님이 자기 둘레의 무리를 보시고는, 떠나 건너편으로 가라고 명령하셨다.	Now when Jesus saw great multitudes about him, he gave commandment to depart unto the other side.
19	그때 한 율법학자가 다가와 예수님께 말씀드렸다. “선생님, 어디로 가시든지 제가 선생님을 따라가겠습니다.”	And a certain scribe came, and said unto him, Master, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest.
20	그러자 예수님이 그에게 말씀하신다. “여우들도 굴이 있고, 하늘의 새들도 둥지 틀 곳이 있습니다. 그런데 인자는 머리 대고 누울 곳이 없습니다.”	And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.
21	예수님의 제자들 가운데 다른 사람이 예수님께 말씀드렸다. “주님, 제가 나가서 먼저 아버지의 장례를 치르도록 허락해 주십시오.”	And another of his disciples said unto him, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.
22	예수님이 그에게 말씀하신다. “그대는 나를 따라오세요. 자기들의 죽은 사람들 장례를 치르는 일은 죽은 사람들에게 맡겨 두세요.” (; )	But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.
23	바람과 큰 물결을 고요하게 하시다 예수님이 배에 올라타시자 제자들이 예수님을 따라갔다.	And when he was entered into a ship, his disciples followed him.
24	그런데, 보라, 바다에 큰 물결이 일어났다. 배가 파도에 뒤덮일 정도였다. 그런데도 예수님은 주무시고 계셨다.	And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep.
25	그래서 제자들이 다가가 예수님을 깨우고 소리쳤다. “주님, 구해 주세요! 우리가 죽게 생겼습니다!”	And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish.
26	그러자 예수님이 제자들에게 말씀하신다. “왜 겁을 먹고 있나요, 믿음이 작은 사람들이여!” 그때에 예수님이 일어나서 바람들과 바다를 꾸짖으셨다. 그러자 매우 고요해졌다.	And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.
27	사람들이 놀라서 말했다. “이분은 어떤 분이지? 바람들과 바다도 순순히 그분 말씀을 듣다니!” (; )	But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!
28	가다라에서 귀신들을 쫓아내 주시다 예수님이 건너편 가다라 사람들이 사는 지역으로 가셨다. 그때 귀신 들린 사람 두 명이 무덤들에서 나와서 예수님을 만났다. 그들이 얼마나 사나운지, 아무도 그 길로 지나갈 수 없을 정도였다.	And when he was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way.
29	그런데, 보라, 그들이 소리를 질러 말했다. “저희한테 왜 이러십니까? 하나님의 아드님! 때가 되기도 전에 여기로 오셔서 저희를 윽박지르시는 것입니까?”	And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?
30	마침 그들로부터 멀찍이 떨어진 곳에서 많은 돼지가 무리 지어 풀을 뜯어 먹고 있었다.	And there was a good way off from them an herd of many swine feeding.
31	귀신들이 예수님께 사정사정했다. “저희를 쫓아내시려면, 저희를 내보내 돼지 떼한테로 들어가게 해 주십시오.”	So the devils besought him, saying, If thou cast us out, suffer us to go away into the herd of swine.
32	예수님이 “가거라!” 하고 그들에게 말씀하셨다. 그러자 그들이 나와서 돼지들한테로 들어갔다. 보라, 돼지 떼가 모두 벼랑으로 돌진하여 바다에 떨어져 물속에서 죽어 버렸다.	And he said unto them, Go. And when they were come out, they went into the herd of swine: and, behold, the whole herd of swine ran violently down a steep place into the sea, and perished in the waters.
33	돼지 치던 사람들은 달아났다. 그곳을 떠나 도시로 가서, 모든 일, 특히 귀신 들린 사람 두 명의 일을 알렸다.	And they that kept them fled, and went their ways into the city, and told every thing, and what was befallen to the possessed of the devils.
34	그러자, 보라, 온 도시 사람들이 예수님을 만나려고 나왔다. 예수님을 보자 그들은 사정사정하기를, 자기네 지역에서 나가 달라고 했다.	And, behold, the whole city came out to meet Jesus: and when they saw him, they besought him that he would depart out of their coasts.
