1	이혼을 두고 새롭게 말씀하시다 예수님이 이런 말씀들을 끝마치셨을 때, 갈릴래아에서 떠나 요르단 건너편의 유대아 지역으로 가셨다.	And it came to pass, that when Jesus had finished these sayings, he departed from Galilee, and came into the coasts of Judea beyond Jordan;
2	많은 무리들이 예수님을 따라갔고, 예수님은 거기서 그들을 고쳐 주셨다.	And great multitudes followed him; and he healed them there.
3	그러자 바리새파 사람들이 다가와서 예수님을 떠보려고 여쭈었다. “남편이 아무 구실이든 대어서 자기 아내와 갈라서도 됩니까?”	The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?
4	예수님이 되물으셨다. “당신들은 읽어 본 적도 없습니까, 창조하신 분이 맨 처음부터 남성과 여성으로 그들을 지으셨다는 것을요?”	And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,
5	또 말씀하셨다. “이런 까닭에 남편 될 사람이 아버지와 어머니를 떠나 자기 아내 될 사람과 어우러져서 살게 될 겁니다. 그 둘이 하나의 몸이 될 겁니다.	And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?
6	그래서 더는 둘이 아니라 하나의 몸입니다. 그러므로 하나님이 멍에를 함께 메게 하신 것을 사람이 떼어 놓지 않아야 합니다.”	Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
7	그들이 예수님께 여쭌다. “그러면 모세는 왜 갈라선다는 증서를 주어 아내와 갈라서라고 명령했습니까?”	They say unto him, Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away?
8	예수님이 그들에게 말씀하신다. “모세는 당신들 마음이 굳어 있음을 생각해서 아내와 갈라서도록 당신들에게 허락한 겁니다. 처음부터 그런 것은 아니었습니다.	He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.
9	당신들에게 말합니다. 누구든 음란한 짓 아닌 일로 자기 아내와 갈라서고 다른 여자와 결혼하는 사람은 바람을 피우는 것입니다.”	And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.
10	예수님의 제자들이 예수님께 말씀드린다. “사람이 자기 아내와 맺는 관계가 이렇다면, 결혼하는 것이 유익하지 않습니다.”	His disciples say unto him, If the case of the man be so with his wife, it is not good to marry.
11	예수님이 그들에게 말씀하셨다. “모두가 이 말씀을 알아듣는 것은 아닙니다. 하나님이 허락하신 사람만 알아듣습니다.	But he said unto them, All men cannot receive this saying, save they to whom it is given.
12	엄마 뱃속에서부터 성기능에 장애가 있는 남자로 태어난 사람들도 있습니다. 사람들이 그렇게 만든 경우도 있습니다. 하늘나라 때문에 스스로 그렇게 된 사람들도 있습니다. 알아들을 수 있는 사람은 알아듣기 바랍니다.” (; )	For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother’s womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven’s sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.
13	어린이들에게 손을 얹어 주시다 그때에 사람들이 어린이들을 예수님께 데려왔다. 예수님이 손을 얹고 기도해 주시도록 하려는 것이었다. 그런데 제자들은 그 사람들을 꾸짖었다.	Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them.
14	그러자 예수님이 말씀하셨다. “어린이들을 그냥 두세요! 나한테 오는 것을 막지 마세요! 하늘나라는 이런 사람들의 것이니까요.”	But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.
15	그리고 그들에게 손을 얹어 주신 뒤에 거기서 떠나가셨다. (; )	And he laid his hands on them, and departed thence.
16	한 젊은이에게 영원한 생명 얻는 길을 가르치시다 그런데, 보라, 한 사람이 예수님께 다가와서 이렇게 여쭈었다. “선생님, 제가 무슨 선한 일을 해야 영원한 생명을 얻겠습니까?”	And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?
17	예수님이 그에게 대답하셨다. “선한 일에 대해서 왜 나에게 묻나요? 한 분만이 선하십니다. 생명에 들어가고 싶으면 계명들을 지키세요.”	And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
18	그 사람이 예수님께 말한다. “어떤 계명 말입니까?” 예수님이 대답하셨다. “‘사람을 죽이지 마라, 배우자 아닌 사람과 잠자리하지 마라, 도둑질하지 마라, 거짓 증언 하지 마라,	He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,
19	아버지와 어머니를 받들어 모셔라.’ 또 ‘너의 이웃을 너 자신처럼 사랑하라.’ 하는 계명 말입니다.”	Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
20	그 젊은이가 말한다. “이 계명들은 다 지켰습니다. 아직도 모자라는 것이 무엇입니까?”	The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?
21	예수님이 말씀하셨다. “완전하게 되고 싶다면, 가서 그대에게 있는 것들을 팔아서 가난한 사람들에게 주세요. 그러면 그대가 하늘에서 보물을 차지할 겁니다. 그리고 이리로 와서 나를 따르세요.”	Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
22	이 말씀을 듣고 그 젊은이는 괴로워하면서 떠나갔다. 그에게는 모은 재산이 많았기 때문이다.	But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.
23	예수님이 제자들에게 말씀하셨다. “아멘 그대들에게 말합니다. 부자가 하늘나라에 들어가기는 어려워요.	Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.
24	그대들에게 다시 말합니다. 낙타가 바늘귀로 빠져나가는 것이 부자가 하나님 나라에 들어가는 것보다 더 쉽습니다.”	And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
25	이 말씀을 듣고서 제자들이 너무나 놀라 “그러면 누가 구원받을 수 있습니까?” 하고 여쭈었다.	When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved?
26	예수님이 찬찬히 그들을 보시고서 말씀하셨다. “사람으로서는 이 일을 할 수 없지요. 그러나 하나님은 모든 것을 하실 수 있습니다.” (; )	But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
27	모든 것을 버려두고 예수님을 따르면 그때에 베드로가 예수님께 대답했다. “보십시오, 우리야말로 모든 것을 버려두고 선생님을 따랐습니다. 그러니 우리에게 돌아올 몫이 무엇입니까?”	Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore?
28	예수님이 말씀하셨다. “아멘 그대들에게 말합니다. 그대들이야말로 나를 따랐어요. 새 세상에서는, 곧 인자가 영광스러운 임금자리에 앉게 될 때에는, 바로 그대들도 임금자리 열둘에 앉아 이스라엘 열두 지파를 심판하고 다스릴 겁니다.	And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
29	누구든 집이나 형제나 자매나 아버지나 어머니나 자식이나 농토를 내 이름을 위해서 내려놓은 사람은 다 100배로 받을 것입니다. 영원한 생명도 받아 누릴 것입니다.	And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.
30	으뜸이었다가 맨 끝이 되고 맨 끝이었다가 으뜸이 될 사람이 많을 것입니다.”	But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.
