절	새한글성경 (2024)	King James Version
1	마지막 날들에 나타날 사람들의 특징 그대는 이것을 알아 두시게. 마지막 날들에는 어려운 때가 닥칠 걸세.	This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2	사람들이 자기를 사랑하며, 돈을 사랑하며, 허풍을 떨며, 거만하며, 하나님을 모독하게 될 걸세. 부모님을 거역하며, 은혜를 모르며, 불경스럽게 될 걸세.	For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3	인정머리 없으며, 원한을 풀지 않으며, 남을 헐뜯으며, 자제력이 없으며, 사나우며, 선한 일을 좋아하지 않게 될 걸세.	Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4	배신하며, 무모하며, 거들먹거리며, 하나님을 사랑하기보다 쾌락을 더 사랑하게 될 걸세.	Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5	경건의 모양새는 가지고 있지만, 경건의 능력은 부정할 것이네. 그대는 이런 사람들을 가까이하지 마시게.	Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
6	이런 사람들 가운데서, 집집마다 슬쩍 들어가서는 어리숙한 여자들을 속여 포로 삼는 사람들이 나오게 되지. 그런 여자들은 이미 여러 죄 아래 눌려 있고, 여러 가지 욕망에 끌려다니고 있네.	For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
7	그들은 늘 배우기는 하지만 도무지 진리를 깨달아 아는 데까지 이를 수 없는 이들이네.	Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
8	얀네와 얌브레가 모세에게 맞섰던 것과 같이, 이 사람들도 진리에 맞서고 있네. 정신이 완전히 썩은 사람들, 믿음에 대해서는 쓸모없는 이들로 검증된 사람들이 말이야.	Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
9	그렇지만 그들은 더 멀리 앞으로 나아가지는 못할 걸세. 그들의 생각 없음이 모두에게 아주 분명하게 드러날 테니까. 얀네와 얌브레의 경우에도 그렇게 되었던 것처럼 말이지.	But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.
10	성경 말씀을 따라 살라 그런데 그대는, 나를 바싹 뒤따라왔네. 나의 가르침, 살아가는 방식, 삶의 목표, 믿음, 참음, 사랑, 견뎌 냄,	But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,
11	여러 박해, 여러 고난도 말이야. 여러 박해와 고난이 안티오키아, 이고니온, 루스드라에서 나에게 일어났었지. 내가 견뎌 낸 박해들이 얼마나 대단했던가! 그렇지만 주님이, 그 모든 박해와 고난에서 나를 구해 주셨지!	Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.
12	그리스도 예수님 안에서 경건하게 살고 싶어 하는 사람은 모두 박해를 받게 될 걸세.	Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
13	그런데 악한 사람들과 사기꾼들은 더 나쁜 데로 나아가서, 남을 속이기도 하고 자기들이 속아 넘어가기도 할 것이네.	But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
14	그러나 그대는, 배워서 굳게 믿고 있는 것들 안에 머물러 있으시게. 그대는 어떤 사람들한테서 그것들을 배웠는지 알고 있네.	But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;
15	그대는 갓난아기 때부터 성경을 잘 알아 왔지. 성경은 그대를 지혜롭게 하여 그리스도 예수님을 믿는 믿음을 통해서 구원에 이르게 할 수 있네.	And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
16	성경은 다 하나님이 숨을 불어 넣으신 것으로, 가르치고, 꾸짖고, 바로잡고, 의로 교육하는 일에 유익한 것이네.	All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17	그리하여 하나님의 사람이 온갖 선한 일을 하는 데에 제대로 채비를 갖추어 자격 있는 사람이 되도록 한다네.	That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
