1	성벽을 나누어 손질해 고치다 엘리아십 대제사장과 그의 형제인 제사장들이 일어나서 ‘양의 성문’을 만들어 세웠다. 그들이 그 문을 구별하여 바쳤고, 문짝을 달았다. ‘함메아 망대’까지도 구별하여 바쳤고, ‘하나넬 망대’까지도 그렇게 했다.	Then Eliashib the high priest rose up with his brethren the priests, and they builded the sheep gate; they sanctified it, and set up the doors of it; even unto the tower of Meah they sanctified it, unto the tower of Hananeel.
2	그 옆에서는 여리고 사람들이 성벽을 쌓았다. 그 옆에서는 이므리의 아들 삭굴이 성벽을 쌓았다.	And next unto him builded the men of Jericho. And next to them builded Zaccur the son of Imri.
3	‘물고기들의 성문’은 스나아 사람들이 만들어 세웠다. 바로 그들이 문틀을 짜고는, 문짝을 달고 걸쇠를 붙이고 문빗장을 질렀다.	But the fish gate did the sons of Hassenaah build, who also laid the beams thereof, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof.
4	그들 옆에서는 우리야의 아들이자 학고스의 손자인 므레못이 성벽을 손질해 고쳤다. 그들 옆에서는 베레갸의 아들이자 므세사벨의 손자인 므술람이 손질해 고쳤다. 그들 옆에서는 바아나의 아들 사독이 손질해 고쳤다.	And next unto them repaired Meremoth the son of Urijah, the son of Koz. And next unto them repaired Meshullam the son of Berechiah, the son of Meshezabeel. And next unto them repaired Zadok the son of Baana.
5	그들 옆에서는 드고아 사람들이 성벽을 손질해 고쳤다. 그러나 그들 가운데 높은 사람들은 자기들의 윗사람에게 힘을 보태 주지 않았다.	And next unto them the Tekoites repaired; but their nobles put not their necks to the work of their Lord.
6	‘옛 성문’은 바세아흐의 아들 요야다와 브소드야의 아들 므술람이 손질해 고쳤다. 바로 그들이 문틀을 짜고는, 문짝을 달고 걸쇠를 붙이고 문빗장을 질렀다.	Moreover the old gate repaired Jehoiada the son of Paseah, and Meshullam the son of Besodeiah; they laid the beams thereof, and set up the doors thereof, and the locks thereof, and the bars thereof.
7	그들 옆에서는 기브온 사람 믈라댜와 메로놋 사람 야돈, 기브온 사람들과 미스바 사람들이 성벽을 손질해 고쳤다. 이 두 곳은 유프라테스강 건너편 지역 총독부의 관할 구역이었다.	And next unto them repaired Melatiah the Gibeonite, and Jadon the Meronothite, the men of Gibeon, and of Mizpah, unto the throne of the governor on this side the river.
8	그 옆에서는 하르하야의 아들이자 금은 기술자인 웃시엘이 성벽을 손질해 고쳤다. 그 옆에서는 향료 기술자 하나냐가 손질해 고쳤다. 그들은 예루살렘을 ‘넓은 성벽’까지 원래 모습으로 고쳤다.	Next unto him repaired Uzziel the son of Harhaiah, of the goldsmiths. Next unto him also repaired Hananiah the son of one of the apothecaries, and they fortified Jerusalem unto the broad wall.
9	그들 옆에서는 후르의 아들 르바야가 성벽을 손질해 고쳤다. 그는 예루살렘 지역 절반의 책임 행정관이었다.	And next unto them repaired Rephaiah the son of Hur, the ruler of the half part of Jerusalem.
10	그들 옆에서는 하루맙의 아들 여다야가 자신의 집 맞은편 성벽을 손질해 고쳤다. 그 옆에서는 하삽느야의 아들 핫두스가 손질해 고쳤다.	And next unto them repaired Jedaiah the son of Harumaph, even over against his house. And next unto him repaired Hattush the son of Hashabniah.
11	또 다른 구역의 성벽은 하림의 아들 말기야와 바핫모압의 아들 핫숩이 손질해 고쳤다. ‘아궁이 망대’도 손질해 고쳤다.	Malchijah the son of Harim, and Hashub the son of Pahath–moab, repaired the other piece, and the tower of the furnaces.
12	그 옆에서는 할로헤스의 아들 살룸이 성벽을 손질해 고쳤다. 그는 예루살렘 지역 절반의 책임 행정관이었다. 그의 딸들이 함께했다.	And next unto him repaired Shallum the son of Halohesh, the ruler of the half part of Jerusalem, he and his daughters.
13	‘골짜기 성문’은 하눈이 사노아흐 주민들과 함께 손질해 고쳤다. 바로 그들이 문을 세우고는, 문짝을 달고 걸쇠를 붙이고 문빗장을 질렀다. ‘배설물 성문’까지 성벽 500미터를 고쳤다.	The valley gate repaired Hanun, and the inhabitants of Zanoah; they built it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof, and a thousand cubits on the wall unto the dung gate.
14	‘배설물 성문’은 레갑의 아들 말기야가 손질해 고쳤다. 그는 벳학게렘 지역 책임 행정관이었다. 바로 그가 문을 세우고는, 문짝을 달고 걸쇠를 붙이고 문빗장을 질렀다.	But the dung gate repaired Malchiah the son of Rechab, the ruler of part of Beth–haccerem; he built it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof.
15	‘샘의 성문’은 골호세의 아들 살룬이 손질해 고쳤다. 그는 미스바 지역 책임 행정관이었다. 바로 그가 문을 세우고 지붕을 덮고는, 문짝을 달고 걸쇠를 붙이고 문빗장을 질렀다. 또한 임금의 동산에 있는 ‘셀라흐 연못’의 성벽도 손질해 고쳤다. 다윗의 도시에서부터 내려오는 계단에 이르기까지 고쳤다.	But the gate of the fountain repaired Shallun the son of Col–hozeh, the ruler of part of Mizpah; he built it, and covered it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof, and the wall of the pool of Siloah by the king’s garden, and unto the stairs that go down from the city of David.
16	그 뒤에서는 아스북의 아들 느헤미야가 성벽을 손질해 고쳤다. 그는 벳술 지역 절반의 책임 행정관이었다. 다윗의 묘지 맞은편에 이르기까지, 사람이 만든 연못에 이르기까지, ‘병사들의 집’에 이르기까지 고쳤다.	After him repaired Nehemiah the son of Azbuk, the ruler of the half part of Beth–zur, unto the place over against the sepulchres of David, and to the pool that was made, and unto the house of the mighty.
17	그 뒤에서는 레위 사람들이 성벽을 손질해 고쳤다. 바니의 아들 르훔이 그랬다. 그 옆에서는 그일라 지역 절반의 책임자 하사뱌가 자신의 지역을 위해 고쳤다.	After him repaired the Levites, Rehum the son of Bani. Next unto him repaired Hashabiah, the ruler of the half part of Keilah, in his part.
18	그 뒤에서는 그들의 형제들이 성벽을 손질해 고쳤다. 헤나닷의 아들 바왜가 그랬다. 그는 그일라 지역 절반의 책임 행정관이었다.	After him repaired their brethren, Bavai the son of Henadad, the ruler of the half part of Keilah.
19	그 옆에서는 예수아의 아들 에셀이 성벽의 또 다른 구역을 손질해 고쳤다. 그는 미스바의 책임 행정관이었다. 무기 창고로 올라가는 길 맞은편에서 구석에 이르기까지 고쳤다.	And next to him repaired Ezer the son of Jeshua, the ruler of Mizpah, another piece over against the going up to the armoury at the turning of the wall.
20	그 뒤에서는 삽배의 아들 바룩이 다른 구역을 열심히 손질해 고쳤다. 구석에서부터 대제사장 엘리아십의 집 문에 이르기까지 고쳤다.	After him Baruch the son of Zabbai earnestly repaired the other piece, from the turning of the wall unto the door of the house of Eliashib the high priest.
21	그 뒤에서는 우리야의 아들이자 학고스의 손자인 므레못이 성벽의 또 다른 구역을 손질해 고쳤다. 엘리아십의 집 문에서 엘리아십의 집 끝에 이르기까지 고쳤다.	After him repaired Meremoth the son of Urijah the son of Koz another piece, from the door of the house of Eliashib even to the end of the house of Eliashib.
22	그 뒤에서는 학킥카르 사람들 가운데 제사장들이 성벽을 손질해 고쳤다.	And after him repaired the priests, the men of the plain.
23	그 뒤에서는 베냐민과 핫숩이 자신들의 집 맞은편 성벽을 손질해 고쳤다. 그 뒤에서는 마아세야의 아들이자 아나냐의 손자인 아사랴가 자신의 집 옆 성벽을 손질해 고쳤다.	After him repaired Benjamin and Hashub over against their house. After him repaired Azariah the son of Maaseiah the son of Ananiah by his house.
24	그 뒤에서는 헤나닷의 아들 빈누이가 성벽의 또 다른 구역을 손질해 고쳤다. 아사랴의 집에서부터 구석에 이르기까지, 또 모퉁이에 이르기까지 고쳤다.	After him repaired Binnui the son of Henadad another piece, from the house of Azariah unto the turning of the wall, even unto the corner.
25	우새의 아들 발랄은 구석 맞은편에서 시작하여 경비대 뜰에 있는 위쪽 왕궁에서 튀어나와 있는 망대 맞은편까지 고쳤다. 그 뒤에서는 바로스의 아들 브다야가 성벽을 고쳤다.	Palal the son of Uzai, over against the turning of the wall, and the tower which lieth out from the king’s high house, that was by the court of the prison. After him Pedaiah the son of Parosh.
26	성전 허드렛일꾼들은 오벨 언덕에 살고 있었다. 그들은 동쪽의 ‘물의 성문’ 맞은편에 이르기까지 성벽을 고쳤다. 튀어나온 망대도 고쳤다.	Moreover the Nethinims dwelt in Ophel, unto the place over against the water gate toward the east, and the tower that lieth out.
27	그 뒤에서는 드고아 사람들이 성벽의 또 다른 부분을 손질하여 고쳤다. 그들은 튀어나온 커다란 망대 맞은편에서부터 오벨 언덕의 성벽에 이르기까지 고쳤다.	After them the Tekoites repaired another piece, over against the great tower that lieth out, even unto the wall of Ophel.
28	‘말들의 성문’ 위쪽부터는 제사장들이 저마다 자신의 집 맞은편 성벽을 손질해 고쳤다.	From above the horse gate repaired the priests, every one over against his house.
29	그 뒤에서는 임멜의 아들 사독이 자신의 집 맞은편 성벽을 손질해 고쳤다. 그 뒤에서는 스가냐의 아들 스마야가 고쳤다. 그는 동쪽 성문의 문지기였다.	After them repaired Zadok the son of Immer over against his house. After him repaired also Shemaiah the son of Shechaniah, the keeper of the east gate.
30	그 뒤에서는 셀레먀의 아들 하나냐와 살랍의 여섯째 아들 하눈이 성벽의 또 다른 부분을 손질해 고쳤다. 그 뒤에서는 베레갸의 아들 므술람이 자신의 방 맞은편 성벽을 손질해 고쳤다.	After him repaired Hananiah the son of Shelemiah, and Hanun the sixth son of Zalaph, another piece. After him repaired Meshullam the son of Berechiah over against his chamber.
31	그 뒤에서는 금은 기술자 말기야가 성전 허드렛일꾼들과 무역상들의 집에 이르기까지 성벽을 손질해 고쳤다. 그 집은 ‘함밉캇 성문’ 맞은편에 있었다. 또 모퉁이 위층 방에 이르기까지 고쳤다.	After him repaired Malchiah the goldsmith’s son unto the place of the Nethinims, and of the merchants, over against the gate Miphkad, and to the going up of the corner.
32	모퉁이 위층 방과 ‘양의 성문’ 사이의 성벽은 금은 기술자들과 무역상들이 손질해 고쳤다.	And between the going up of the corner unto the sheep gate repaired the goldsmiths and the merchants.
