1	예루살렘에 자리 잡은 사람들 백성의 지도자들은 예루살렘에 자리 잡았다. 나머지 백성을 두고는 제비를 뽑았다. 열 명 가운데 한 명을 거룩한 도시 예루살렘에 와서 살게 했고, 아홉 명은 여러 도시에 살게 했다.	And the rulers of the people dwelt at Jerusalem: the rest of the people also cast lots, to bring one of ten to dwell in Jerusalem the holy city, and nine parts to dwell in other cities.
2	예루살렘에 기꺼이 살겠다며 나서는 모든 사람을 두고 백성이 복을 빌어 주었다.	And the people blessed all the men, that willingly offered themselves to dwell at Jerusalem.
3	예루살렘에 자리 잡은 지역 우두머리들은 이러하다. 한편 유다의 도시들에는 사람들이 저마다 자기 땅에, 자기들 도시에 자리 잡았다. 이들 가운데 이스라엘 사람들 곧 제사장들, 레위 사람들, 성전 허드렛일꾼들, 솔로몬의 노예들의 자손이 있었다.	Now these are the chief of the province that dwelt in Jerusalem: but in the cities of Judah dwelt every one in his possession in their cities, to wit, Israel, the priests, and the Levites, and the Nethinims, and the children of Solomon’s servants.
4	예루살렘에 자리 잡은 사람들로는 유다 자손 몇 사람과 베냐민 자손 몇 사람이 있었다. 유다 자손 가운데서는 아다야가 있었다. 그는 웃시야의 아들이자 스가랴의 손자이자 아마랴의 증손자이자 스바댜의 고손자이자 마할랄렐의 5대손이자 베레스의 6대손이었다.	And at Jerusalem dwelt certain of the children of Judah, and of the children of Benjamin. Of the children of Judah; Athaiah the son of Uzziah, the son of Zechariah, the son of Amariah, the son of Shephatiah, the son of Mahalaleel, of the children of Perez;
5	마아세야도 있었다. 그는 바룩의 아들이자 골호세의 손자이자 하사야의 증손자이자 아다야의 고손자이자 요야립의 5대손이자 스가랴의 6대손이자 실로 사람의 7대손이었다.	And Maaseiah the son of Baruch, the son of Col–hozeh, the son of Hazaiah, the son of Adaiah, the son of Joiarib, the son of Zechariah, the son of Shiloni.
6	예루살렘에 자리 잡은 베레스의 모든 자손은 468명인데 용사였다.	All the sons of Perez that dwelt at Jerusalem were four hundred threescore and eight valiant men.
7	베냐민 사람들은 이러하다. 살루가 있었는데, 그는 므술람의 아들이자 요엣의 손자이자 브다야의 증손자이자 골라야의 고손자이자 마아세야의 5대손이자 이디엘의 6대손이자 여사야의 7대손이었다.	And these are the sons of Benjamin; Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Joed, the son of Pedaiah, the son of Kolaiah, the son of Maaseiah, the son of Ithiel, the son of Jesaiah.
8	그 뒤에는 갑배와 살래가 있었다. 모두 928명이었다.	And after him Gabbai, Sallai, nine hundred twenty and eight.
9	시그리의 아들 요엘이 그들의 감독관이었고, 핫스누아의 아들 유다는 도시에서 둘째가는 사람이었다.	And Joel the son of Zichri was their overseer: and Judah the son of Senuah was second over the city.
10	제사장 가운데서는 요야립의 아들 여다야와 야긴이 있었다.	Of the priests: Jedaiah the son of Joiarib, Jachin.
11	스라야도 있었다. 그는 힐기야의 아들이자 므술람의 손자이자 사독의 증손자이자 므라욧의 고손자이자 하나님의 집 관리 책임자 아히둡의 5대손이었다.	Seraiah the son of Hilkiah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub, was the ruler of the house of God.
12	그들의 집안사람들이 그 집의 일을 하고 있었다. 모두 822명이었다. 아다야도 있었다. 그는 여로함의 아들이자 블랄랴의 손자이자 암시의 증손자이자 스가랴의 고손자이자 바스훌의 5대손이자 말기야의 6대손이었다.	And their brethren that did the work of the house were eight hundred twenty and two: and Adaiah the son of Jeroham, the son of Pelaliah, the son of Amzi, the son of Zechariah, the son of Pashur, the son of Malchiah,
13	그의 형제들은 집안의 우두머리였다. 모두 242명이었다. 아맛새도 있었다. 그는 아사렐의 아들이자 아흐새의 손자이자 므실레못의 증손자이자 임멜의 고손자였다.	And his brethren, chief of the fathers, two hundred forty and two: and Amashai the son of Azareel, the son of Ahasai, the son of Meshillemoth, the son of Immer,
14	그들의 집안사람들은 모두 128명이었고, 힘센 용사들이었다. 그들을 맡고 있는 사람은 학그돌림의 아들 삽디엘이었다.	And their brethren, mighty men of valour, an hundred twenty and eight: and their overseer was Zabdiel, the son of one of the great men.
15	레위 사람들 가운데에는 스마야가 있었다. 그는 핫숩의 아들이자 아스리감의 손자이자 하사뱌의 증손자이자 분니의 고손자였다.	Also of the Levites: Shemaiah the son of Hashub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Bunni;
16	삽브대와 요사밧은 하나님의 집 바깥일을 맡았다. 그들은 레위 사람들의 우두머리였다.	And Shabbethai and Jozabad, of the chief of the Levites, had the oversight of the outward business of the house of God.
17	맛다냐도 있었다. 그는 미가의 아들이자 삽디의 손자이자 기도할 때 감사 찬양을 맡은 우두머리 아삽의 증손자였다. 박부갸는 그의 형제들 가운데 둘째가는 자리에 있었다. 압다도 있었다. 그는 삼무아의 아들이자 갈랄의 손자이자 여두둔의 증손자였다.	And Mattaniah the son of Micha, the son of Zabdi, the son of Asaph, was the principal to begin the thanksgiving in prayer: and Bakbukiah the second among his brethren, and Abda the son of Shammua, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun.
18	거룩한 도시에 있는 레위 사람들은 모두 284명이었다.	All the Levites in the holy city were two hundred fourscore and four.
19	문지기들은 악굽과 달몬과 그들의 형제들이었다. 그들은 문을 지키는 사람들로 172명이었다.	Moreover the porters, Akkub, Talmon, and their brethren that kept the gates, were an hundred seventy and two.
20	나머지 이스라엘 사람들, 제사장들, 레위 사람들은 유다의 모든 도시에서 저마다 나누어 받은 곳에 살았다.	And the residue of Israel, of the priests, and the Levites, were in all the cities of Judah, every one in his inheritance.
21	성전 허드렛일꾼들은 오벨 언덕에 자리 잡았다. 시하와 기스바가 성전 허드렛일꾼들을 맡고 있었다.	But the Nethinims dwelt in Ophel: and Ziha and Gispa were over the Nethinims.
22	예루살렘에 있는 레위 사람들을 맡고 있는 사람은 웃시였다. 그는 바니의 아들이자 하사뱌의 손자이자 맛다냐의 증손자이자 미가의 고손자였다. 이 사람들은 아삽의 자손들로서 하나님의 집에서 일을 맡은 노래하는 사람들이었다.	The overseer also of the Levites at Jerusalem was Uzzi the son of Bani, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Micha. Of the sons of Asaph, the singers were over the business of the house of God.
23	그들에게는 임금의 명령이 있었다. 노래하는 사람들이 날마다 해야 할 일이 정해져 있었다.	For it was the king’s commandment concerning them, that a certain portion should be for the singers, due for every day.
24	므세사벨의 아들 브다히야는 유다의 아들 세라흐의 자손으로 임금 곁에서 백성에 관한 온갖 일을 했다.	And Pethahiah the son of Meshezabeel, of the children of Zerah the son of Judah, was at the king’s hand in all matters concerning the people.
25	예루살렘 밖에 자리 잡은 사람들 들판에 있는 시골 마을들을 보면, 유다 사람들 중 일부가 자리 잡은 곳으로는 기랴다르바와 딸린 동네들, 디본과 딸린 동네들, 여갑스엘과 딸린 마을들이 있었다.	And for the villages, with their fields, some of the children of Judah dwelt at Kirjath–arba, and in the villages thereof, and at Dibon, and in the villages thereof, and at Jekabzeel, and in the villages thereof,
26	또한 예수아와 몰라다와 벳벨렛이 있었다.	And at Jeshua, and at Moladah, and at Beth–phelet,
27	또한 하살수알, 브엘세바와 딸린 동네들이 있었다.	And at Hazar–shual, and at Beer–sheba, and in the villages thereof,
28	또한 시글락, 므고나와 딸린 동네들이 있었다.	And at Ziklag, and at Mekonah, and in the villages thereof,
29	또한 엔림몬과 소라와 야르뭇이 있었다.	And at En–rimmon, and at Zareah, and at Jarmuth,
30	사노아흐, 아둘람과 그에 딸린 시골 마을들, 라기스와 딸린 들판, 아세가와 딸린 동네들이 있었다. 이처럼 그들이 진을 치고 산 곳은 브엘세바에서부터 벤힌놈 골짜기까지 이르렀다.	Zanoah, Adullam, and in their villages, at Lachish, and the fields thereof, at Azekah, and in the villages thereof. And they dwelt from Beer–sheba unto the valley of Hinnom.
31	한편 베냐민 사람들이 자리 잡은 곳은 게바에서부터 믹마스, 아야, 베델과 딸린 동네들이었다.	The children also of Benjamin from Geba dwelt at Michmash, and Aija, and Beth–el, and in their villages,
32	아나돗, 놉, 아나냐였다.	And at Anathoth, Nob, Ananiah,
33	하솔, 라마, 깃다임이었다.	Hazor, Ramah, Gittaim,
34	하딧, 스보임, 느발랏이었다.	Hadid, Zeboim, Neballat,
35	로드, 오노, 게하하라심이었다.	Lod, and Ono, the valley of craftsmen.
36	유다 몫의 땅에 살던 레위 사람들 일부는 베냐민 몫의 땅으로 옮겨 갔다.	And of the Levites were divisions in Judah, and in Benjamin.
