1	성도들 사이에 일어난 소송을 두고 말하다 여러분 가운데서 누군가가 다른 사람한테 시빗거리가 있을 때 어떻게 합니까? 성도들 앞이 아니고 불의한 사람들 앞에서 함부로 판결을 받으려고 합니까?	Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints?
2	여러분은 성도들이 세상을 심판하리라는 것을 알지 못합니까? 세상이 여러분에게 심판을 받는 터인데, 여러분은 아주 사소한 문제도 판결할 능력이 없습니까?	Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
3	여러분은 우리가 천사들을 심판하리라는 것을 알지 못합니까? 일상의 일은 말할 것도 없고요.	Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?
4	그런데 일상의 일과 관련된 재판거리가 있을 때, 여러분은 교회에서 업신여김을 받는 그런 사람들을 재판관으로 앉힙니까?	If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church.
5	내가 여러분을 부끄럽게 하려고 하는 말입니다. 여러분 가운데는 형제자매 가운데서 일어난 문제를 판단해 줄 수 있는 지혜로운 사람이 이렇게 하나도 없습니까?	I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren?
6	형제자매가 형제자매와 재판을 벌이는데, 그것도 믿지 않는 사람들 앞에서 그렇게 합니까?	But brother goeth to law with brother, and that before the unbelievers.
7	그러므로 여러분끼리 서로 소송을 벌이고 있으니, 여러분은 이미 완전히 진 겁니다. 왜 차라리 불의를 당하고 말지 않습니까? 왜 차라리 속아서 빼앗기고 말지 않습니까?	Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with another. Why do ye not rather take wrong? why do ye not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded?
8	도리어 여러분 자신들이 불의를 저지르며 속여 빼앗습니다. 그것도 형제자매들에게 그렇게 합니다.	Nay, ye do wrong, and defraud, and that your brethren.
9	여러분은 불의한 사람들이 하나님 나라를 물려받지 못하리라는 것을 알지 못합니까? 속아 넘어가지 마세요! 음란한 짓을 하는 사람들이나 우상을 섬기는 사람들이나 바람을 피우는 사람들이 거기에 해당합니다. 잠자리에서 여자 노릇 하는 남자들이나 남자와 잠자리하는 남자들이 거기에 해당합니다.	Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
10	도둑들이나 탐욕을 부리는 사람들이나 술주정뱅이들이나 욕쟁이들이나 약탈하는 사람들이 거기에 해당합니다. 그들은 하나님 나라를 물려받지 못할 겁니다.	Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
11	그런데 여러분 가운데 더러는 그런 사람들이었습니다. 그러나 여러분은 말끔히 씻겨졌습니다. 거룩해졌습니다. 의롭다고 인정받았습니다. 주 예수 그리스도의 이름과 우리 하나님의 영을 힘입어서요.	And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
12	그리스도인의 몸은 하나님의 것이다 “모든 것이 나에게 허락되어 있다.”라고들 합니다. 그러나 모든 것이 다 이로운 것은 아닙니다. “모든 것이 나에게 허락되어 있다.”라고들 합니다. 그러나 나는, 어떤 것에게도 통제를 받지 않겠습니다.	All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.
13	“음식물은 배를 위하여 있고, 배는 음식물을 위하여 있다.”라고들 합니다. 그러나 하나님은 이것도 저것도 없애 버리실 겁니다. 몸은 음란한 짓을 위해서가 아니라 주님을 위해서 있습니다. 그리고 주님은 몸을 위해서 계십니다.	Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.
14	하나님은 주님을 일으켜 살리셨습니다. 그리고 자신의 능력으로 우리도 일으켜 살리실 겁니다.	And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power.
15	여러분은 여러분의 몸이 그리스도의 몸의 부분들이라는 것을 알지 못합니까? 그런데 내가 그리스도의 몸의 부분들을 떼어다가 몸 파는 여자의 몸의 부분들로 만들겠습니까? 절대로 그럴 수 없습니다!	Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.
16	또는 몸 파는 여자에게 달라붙어 있는 사람은 그와 하나의 몸이 되는 것을 여러분은 알지 못합니까? 성경은 말하기를 “둘이 하나의 몸이 될 것이다.”라고 합니다.	What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.
17	주님께 달라붙어 있는 사람은 주님과 한 영이 됩니다.	But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.
18	음란한 짓을 피하세요! 사람이 짓는 죄는 모두 몸 바깥에 있습니다. 그러나 음란한 짓 하는 사람은 자기 몸에다 죄를 짓는 것입니다.	Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
19	여러분은 알지 못합니까, 여러분의 몸이 여러분 가운데 계시는 성령님의 성전이라는 것을요? 여러분이 모시고 있는 성령님은 하나님께로부터 오신 분이며, 이제 여러분은 여러분 자신들의 것이 아니라는 것을요?	What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
20	여러분은 하나님이 값을 치르고 사들이신 사람들입니다. 그러니까 여러분의 몸으로 하나님께 영광을 돌리십시오!	For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
